"What's the idea?", says Vega.
"Almatia is a part of the Maikita star system, no? Why don't we get the other planets involved? Because, they'd also be affected if the Driftspace wins against Almatia alone.", says Mailen. "It's more of the risk of the star system rather than Almatia alone, and having us all together would be good for all of us."
"I see your point. Understood, I'll call the leaders of each planet, and I'll try to contact the leader of UHC so that Almatia gets a new leader.", says Vega, leaving the house and going to the UHC building.
"What planets will be involved?", says Rain, not knowing what planets are in the system.
"Let me see... Well, there's 4 planets in the system, 5 if we include Almatia. We've got Xeron (Earth name Kepler-186b), Thetis Prime (Earth name Kepler-186c), Lambda (Earth name Kepler-186d), and Homiya. (Earth name Kepler-186e)", says Mailen, showing the Maikitan system map.
"I see. Well, let's start planning a full-scale attack on the force.", says Rain.
Leo, hearing this all, also learned something new. "Guys, our best bet is to move the force into Almatia. As you know, it's technically outside the universe. But, if we use the teleportation point on the force after we nuke enough of it, we can move the force towards Almatia and destroy it easier."
"Great idea. Let's try to get rid of its defense layers first.", says Zarya.
Everybody goes to do their own thing. The following day, in the UHC building, Vega calls the Galactic Center.
"Hello? UHC Planetary Board of Leaders here, how can we help?", says a person on the line.
"Hey there. I am Vega, Rank 20 of the UHC Board, stationed in Almatia. Since the last leader of Almatia, Asparion, died due to the execution of 'Code 12' with the help of the Astral Thread, I'd love to know, who will be assigned as the next leader of Almatia.", says Vega on the phone, grabbing a note to check current potential candidates.
"Currently, we believe that the Thread is the best help to lead Almatia. Our view at Almatia clashes with our view for the cosmos. We want Almatia to be in good hands. I will forward a message to Mr. Voss, and make sure that he recognizes the Thread as a potential candidate. However, temporarily, Asparion has put 'Asten' as a leader for Almatia until the UHC, and the Almatian courts decide on the new permanent leader.", says the person.
"Understood. Have a nice day.", says Vega on the phone, preparing to call Asten afterwards.
"Likewise", says the person as they hang up.
Vega calls Asten and calls him to her office. Asten shows up, and Vega tells him that Asparion assigned him as the leader, and that the Thread may soon get to lead Almatia.
"Great, just as we planned.", says Asten.
"I don't understand. Why the Thread?", asks Vega. "They're only like 4 people and a robot! Not to sound rude – I love the Thread crew, but they may be uncapable of leading a planet as big as Almatia."
"They are the awaited saviors. The UHC trusts them.", says Asten. "The Thread will probably assign somebody they trust to lead anyway, and if they actually become a permanent leader, I believe they'll choose you as the leader, considering you've all spent time together the most here."
"...Fair enough.", exhales Vega. She takes a look at the candidate list, and notices the Thread added into the list, and many other candidates removed. They were unknown anyway, so they don't really matter anyways.
Vega speaks up again, locking the door so that Asten can't leave. Asten's eyes shrink, wondering what Vega's doing.
"This can only be between us. Almatia needs allies. We've mentioned it at Mailen's party yesterday. You – as the leader, are the only one who gets to call the planets to start an alliance against Driftspace. Please, gather everyone here.", says Vega.
"Got it. Give me a few days.", says Asten. Vega finally unlocks the door, and they both leave the office.
Meanwhile, in the Thread crew's base..
"The practice is going well. You've finally went beyond my level of strength! I'm proud of you, Mailen.", says Zarya, looking proud at Mailen.
"Thank you. All these weeks finally paid off.", says Mailen.
A little bit after, Leo comes in. "Hey there, weavers. I couldn't get your calls for the day, but I finally discovered how to move the Driftspace to Almatia!"
"Yeah, sorry, we've turned our phones off so that we can focus on practicing.", says Rain, while looking at Zarya, making her feel guilty of always using her phone.
"Well, how do we deal with moving the Driftspace to the real world?", asks Aeternum, ready to add data bank entries.
"It's surprisingly really simple. The 'teleportation point' can set a point at the force's location, and move IT into the world through the 'point'.", says Leo. "I will have to move it to outer space, the Driftspace is huge, a little bigger than Almatia itself."
"Got it.", says Mailen.
A few hours later, Rain remembers something.
"This lady... Lucia Voss, right? She tried to take control of us, but in reality didn't really do anything. How is it, that she was too easy to deal with?", says Rain, thinking something is not adding up.
"Hmm... Now that you mention it, you may be onto something. She is the 2nd most powerful person in all of the UHC. I'm guessing that The Leader, Mr. Julian Voss, was trying to stop her while she was fighting us. Even then, she should've taken control in a second. It's like she was testing us.", says Mailen. "I'm 99% sure that this won't be the first time we see her."
"So, we got to prepare and see if Mrs. Voss fights us again in the future.", says Rain.
"Yeah. But, for now, we should be fine, and only focus on the Driftspace, and the Maikitan alliance. Asten should be coming with the new leaders in a few days, according to Vega's message.", says Mailen. "I'm confident in them."
A few days later...
