"How is he?" Storm anxiously asked as she watched Bobby lying on a stretcher.
"His body is depleted, but nothing he can't handle. X-Gene allows us to use our powers by consuming our stamina and mental strength."
"But the consumption is only initial. Once a person has proper control over their powers, they can go beyond their normal limits."
"Bobby wasn't ready for this kind of exhaustion, so his mind has entered a state of temporary shut-down. He will recover within a few days."
Jean explained.
Hearing that, not only mutants but even other superheroes felt relaxed.
"Guess that means I am more awesome than him."
Johnny proudly stated, but even he couldn't stand on his feet.
"Nobody cares, Johnny!"
Susan helplessly smacked him on the shoulder.
"We won."
Captain looked at the exhausted group of mutants and superheroes as he announced.
"Yeah! Hurray, why don't we go book a restaurant? I am super hungry." Tony replied. He was no longer wearing his mask.
"Mr. Stark, can you give me a ride to Queens?"
Spiderman asked.
"Are you in a hurry, kid? We haven't even celebrated our win." Tony looked at him with confusion and asked.
"Ahh!"
Spiderman didn't know how to explain. After all, he couldn't say his aunt was calling him and asking him to return home.
"Spiderman, you should call your family and tell them you will be busy. We just finished a battle with aliens."
"We have a lot to talk about, especially why this invasion happened and about the infinity stones."
Steve spoke.
Tony gave him a strange look and asked.
"Are you serious, Cap? He is a kid."
"Without any offensive weapons, he performed better than Wolverine, Scott, me, and even you in this war."
"He deserves to know the truth behind this war."
"Humph! That's only because I was too busy destroying those spaceships." Logan grunted.
He couldn't accept that his performance was worse than a kid.
"There is no shame in admitting the truth, Wolverine." Scott calmly spoke, but the corner of his lips was raised, showing his happiness.
He didn't care about competing with the kid, but he didn't mind suppressing Logan.
"Am I the only one noticing this? What are they doing?"
Ben pointed his finger at Monti, Boris, and Illena, who were flying around the battlefield, and asked.
"They are collecting the souls of those aliens for their Lord."
"What? Are they the follower of an Evil God?" Spiderman screamed.
"Shut up, Arachnid!"
A voice rang in front of them as the space started spiraling, and two people came out.
"Did you need to use your abilities over such a short distance?" Captain speechlessly stared at Tobi and asked.
"Come on, Steve! Don't tell me it doesn't look cool when I do this!"
Tobi answered, but he got an elbow on his chest as Jane picked up the conversation.
"Sorry, Captain! He likes to make jokes."
"Why are you hitting me?"
"Shut up! This is Captain America."
"I didn't say he is Captain Britain."
"But he is the Greatest Hero in the world. Can't you show some respect?"
"The only person I respect is my Lord. I even consider my own brother a crazy idiot."
When others saw Tobi and Jane having the conversation in whispers, they felt speechless.
Because if Jane was trying to hide their voices, they weren't doing a good job.
"Aw! It breaks my heart when you say that, Tobi."
A voice rang from afar. Spiderman sensed a powerful presence coming at them, while Wolverine also sensed Naruto's presence.
But before they could even react, he was already standing next to Tobi with his hand ruffling Tobi's hair.
From side to side, they looked like twins with different hair colors.
"Sorry about my brother's manner! I was always busy with my Lord's tasks and didn't have time to take care of him."
Naruto spoke with a gentle smile on his face.
His smile was quite contagious. It instantly broke any kind of negative emotions they were having.
Tony walked in front of him and extended his hand.
Naruto was surprised, but he still shook his hand as Tony spoke.
"You are amazing, Naruto. While it might be difficult to achieve your peace, I am starting to believe in your efforts."
Only then did Naruto realize what he was talking about. He rubbed the back of his head with the other hand and said.
"Are you talking about that bet? It's nothing really. I just don't want my friend to sink in the vortex of hatred."
"Adam has a lot of potential. Even though he only became my Lord's follower recently, he is already stronger than me."
Saying so, Naruto turned towards Spiderman and said.
"My Lord isn't an Evil God. He is just a God, with small g."
"What bet?"
Steve curiously asked.
Reed took out his phone and played the video of the previous broadcast. In that video, Naruto told everyone about his bet.
Through this video, they also understood why Naruto didn't join this battle.
Seeing this, Naruto chuckled and spoke.
"I am not that amazing. Even without this bet, my Lord wouldn't allow me to participate in this war unless it truly threatens the existence of humanity."
He looked at the superheroes and spoke with a serious expression.
"That's why you guys need to continue protecting this world. By yourself, you won't have much strength."
"But if you work together, you can bring out the strength that surpasses most armies."
Hearing that, Steve raised his eyebrows and said.
"Are there going to be more invasions like this?"
Naruto nodded.
"Earth currently has three infinity Stones. One is with Jane, another is with Shield, and the final one is with the Sorcerer Supreme."
"They will definitely attract more attention. More importantly, Asgard has weakened. With Odin's old age, the Nine Realms are more vulnerable to invasions."
Hearing that, Scott asked.
"Mr Naruto, do you mean Odin was protecting Earth in the past?"
"Of course, my father is the guardian and the monarch of Nine Realms."
Thor walked in as he joined the conversation.
"Look who has finally joined us. So, how does it feel to wield the power of lightning, Hammer God?"
As soon as Tobi saw Thor put his eyes on Jane for a moment, something irked him.
Thor's expression darkened as he said.
"I am God of Thunder, mortal."
His arrogance had returned just like his power. Even though Tobi was his comrade, he wouldn't let Tobi insult him.
"Yeah! Yeah! A Thunder God who only used lightning with his hammer."
Tobi scoffed.
"Tobi!"
Jane scolded him and pulled him away, trying to stop them from raising their conflict.
She didn't understand why Tobi was always insulting Thor so much.
"So, without Odin's protection, aliens will start invading Earth? But, isn't there still Ancient One?" Steve asked.
Naruto shook his head and said.
"She doesn't care about the battles in the material world unless they threaten the existence of Earth. Even if billions die."
Hearing that, people's expressions turned grim. Even mutants were stunned by this news.
Billion! They couldn't fathom this number being dead in any kind of invasion.
But considering the power that these aliens showed before, they couldn't help but realize the potential threat of the invasion.
"I don't know much about Ancient One, but Son of Odin will do his best to protect Midgard."
"Once I return to Asgard, I will immediately begin fighting Frost Giants and Fire Demons."
Thor spoke, showing his immense confidence in his strength.
Hearing that, Naruto gave him a look of disapproval and said.
"You are too arrogant, Thor. That's why you don't have the potential to become a Monarch and why you can't even lift your own hammer."
Thor felt a stab in his heart when Naruto mentioned his hammer.
Although he had gained great power, even he could feel that Naruto's Chakra was stronger than his.
Naruto turned towards the mutants and said.
"You should probably talk to your professor and try to convince Magneto. Right now, he is the only Fifth Rank Powerhouse on Earth, excluding me, Adam, and the Sorcerer Supreme."
"Magneto?"
His words only caused mutants to fall into a more grim expression.
"Ah! That seems like an impossible thing."
Tony remarked.
"Although I have only been awake for a while, even I know his atrocities."
Steve solemnly spoke.
"Is it truly impossible to make him change sides? From what I've heard, Magneto is only fighting for the mutant kind."
"While he hates humans, he also doesn't go out of his way to kill ordinary people, right?"
Spiderman spoke for Magneto, which instantly made everyone frown, except for Naruto and Thor, who didn't know Magneto.
But he was contemplating whether Magneto was truly that strong. After all, Kurama did put his father on the same rank.
"Impossible, kid! The only reason why he doesn't hunt normal humans is simply that he doesn't have time to waste on them."
Logan spoke while lighting up his cigar.
