"But you don't have to worry about that now. You are plenty strong, and you have people with a lot of potential."
He turned towards Spiderman and continued.
"Some of you can even choose to sign the contract with my Lord for an extra boost in strength."
Hearing that, others clearly turned towards Spiderman, who was left stunned.
He hurriedly shook his head.
"I'm sorry, Mr Naruto. But I don't feel like selling my soul to someone."
Hearing his refusal, Naruto chuckled.
"You will ask for my Lord's help in the future, child. Besides, my Lord is a thousand times better than Mephisto. You can ask him."
He pointed his finger at Ghost Rider, who had returned to his human form. It was already morning, and he had no reason to stay in his Ghost Rider form.
He looked at Naruto with a deep stare for a moment before saying.
"I sold my soul to Mephisto to cure my father's cancer. He did cure my father's cancer, but the next day, he died in a car accident."
"My father was a performer as good as me."
Hearing that, their expression darkened.
It was clear that Johnny had been cheated. Not only did he sell his soul to Mephisto, but he also got his father killed.
Naruto shook his head and said.
"You guys are too unfortunate. Several dimension lords and hell lords are keeping their eyes on Earth, but none of them uses their brains."
"Of course, this isn't abnormal. In fact, if they do something good, that would be abnormal."
"Even my Lord won't share his powers for free. But compared to them, my Lord is too kind."
"He is willing to share his powers with all of you for a soul that he will receive after your death."
"But the stronger you get, the harder it is to kill you. So, you are getting a huge bargain."
Hearing that, Tony turned towards Steve and asked.
"Did you also sign the contract?"
Steve nodded.
"While giving me this power, he also promised to make Peggy younger. I couldn't refuse his offer."
Tony didn't complain. If he could sign his soul for Pepper's safety, he would be more than willing to.
But he still had great confidence in himself as he spoke.
"Although it sounds good, I still believe I can develop armor to face future threats."
Hearing that, Naruto chuckled.
"Don't worry, even if you want to, my Lord will not sign a contract with you."
"F**k you!"
Tony cursed in anger when he heard that.
Everyone laughed upon seeing Tony's reaction. Their laughter made their moods relax.
After all, they just heard some crazy news about crazy things.
"By the way, you mentioned something like Rank Fourth Powerhouse. Is it the same as how we determine mutants' powers using Level One to Five?"
Scott turned towards Naruto and asked.
This immediately got other attention. So, Naruto had no choice but to explain.
"You can understand it that way, but there might be a little bit difference."
"For example, Magneto isn't a Level Five mutant from your classification, but for me, he is level five."
(A/N- In X-Men movies, Levels are used to define a mutant's potential. Here, I previously used ranks, but I am transitioning to levels from now on.)
"Because Level Five represents the power to destroy a planet. If it takes the full power to destroy the planet, then that person is at the lower end of Level Five."
"And if a person can destroy multiple planets, then that person is at the higher spectrum of Level Five."
Upon hearing that, Storm shouted.
"Doesn't that mean Magneto can destroy the Earth if he wants to?"
Naruto shook his head.
"He can, but he won't be given that chance. So, Spiderman, it's not that he doesn't want to kill ordinary humans, it's just that he can't do it."
Spiderman was stunned upon hearing that. He thought Magneto didn't massacre ordinary humans because of his unwillingness to hurt weaker people.
Then, Scott told him he was wrong. When he started to believe Scott, he found that even that answer was wrong.
So, Magneto didn't attack humans in large numbers because he was afraid?
"Anyway, below Level Five is Level Four. Professor, Jean, Storm, Hulk, Thor, even Johnny and Susan have the direct chance of becoming a Level Four powerhouse."
"Me?"
Susan pointed at herself as she asked.
Naruto nodded.
"If you train your body a bit more, you will be able to use your ability to a higher degree. You haven't even scratched the surface of your true potential."
"Compared to you, Johnny has obviously adapted more with his powers. With his supernova, he is capable of causing large-scale destruction of a country."
"This is a Level Four powerhouse. They can do extremely serious damage on a surface level."
"Damage can vary from person to person, but generally, they can affect a large number of people."
"After this is Level Three. This is the most controversial group. Because they can fight on equal terms with Level Second but also with Level Four under regular conditions."
"It's simply because their abilities can be quite annoying to defeat. For example, Spiderman's Spider Sense, which can predict his opponent's attacks."
"Or, Wolverine's Healing Factor that can pull him out of any kind of situation. Cyclops's laser ability is the same. With full power, he can destroy Level Four."
"But without that, he can only fight Level Two powerhouses, which is where Captain America, without Chakra, existed."
"In this level, one has superhuman abilities, but they are not so strong that they can help their user pull a win against a stronger opponent."
"Many mutants fall in this Level. Many superpowered beings also fall in this level."
"Finally, Level One is where people like Daredevil fall. They have one unique ability, but it isn't that combat-oriented, making them just a bit stronger than an elite soldier."
"I didn't use people like Reed and Tony in this division because they can be put anywhere from Level Two to Level Five due to their intelligence."
Ben raised his hand and asked.
"What about me?"
"You fall in Level Four with Ghost Rider."
Naruto replied.
Thor looked at Naruto and asked.
"So, how big a gap can be between the same rank?"
"Hmm! It can be quite big. For example, right now, Cap is obviously at Level Three, but Spiderman can still win if he takes the battle extremely seriously."
"If Hulk and Ben fight, Ben would win early, but if Hulk keeps getting angry, Hulk will win."
"I need to use multiple attacks to destroy Earth, while your father can use one single attack to destroy it."
Different people reacted differently to his words. One of the mutants who reacted the most was Jean.
She realized that if she couldn't control the Phoenix inside of her, it would burn this world.
But, she stared at Naruto and asked.
"Mr Naruto, is your power the same as Adam's?"
Naruto nodded.
"Yes, our powers come from our Lord."
"Then, why do I feel disgusted by your energy while feeling attracted towards Adam's energy?"
Jean asked.
When she said that, Scott couldn't help but feel bad.
Although this was just the energy, didn't all love stories start like that? What if Jean started to feel more for Adam?
On the other hand, Naruto was surprised by her words. Then, he shrugged his shoulders and said.
"I don't know. Maybe it's because I receive a combat form of my Lord's power, while his energy is more akin to my Lord's core energy."
He said as he channeled his golden Chakra, forming a Golden Cloak.
"My Lord made this Chakra specifically for me. But with Adam, he just passed his raw energy."
Suddenly, he chuckled.
"By the way, if you do fall for him, I hope you can slowly turn him more like other X-Men. He is more like Magneto now.'
Hearing that, Jean blushed heavily and shook her head.
"No, no, it's not like that."
On the other hand, Naruto didn't care about her expressions and continued.
"Tobi got a girlfriend. Adam now has a girl. Do you think I should try to find a date?"
"Jean doesn't like him." Scott chimed in.
"Can we not talk about my love life here?" Jean shouted, releasing some of her anger in her voice.
Seeing this, nobody tried to provoke her again. After all, she was one of the strongest mutants here.
"By the way, I forgot about him."
Naruto turned his attention towards Bobby and placed his palm on his chest, channeling his golden chakra into his body.
Then, he stood up and said.
"Now, he doesn't need to sleep for three days. You guys can celebrate your…."
Just when he was about to say more, he was whisked away.
(A/N- I don't like Scott. I like Cyclops. He is an amazing mutant, but outside of being a mutant, he is a pretty shitty guy. One thing that makes me hate him is the fact that he abandoned his wife and child without even looking back.)
