For fifteen long years, Nobu lived as a slave of the cloaked dark-magic cult.
He had limitless money, treasures, and power around him… yet not even a single second of freedom.
He endured torture, brutal training, and impossible missions—
all for one reason.
His family.
His wife.
His sons.
The life he wanted to return to.
And finally… after 15 years of suffering, the day arrived.
Inside the underground chamber, the dark mages completed the forbidden ritual.
Black flames rose around Nobu, swallowing him whole.
When the ritual ended, he collapsed to the ground—breathing hard.
But something inside him had changed.
The curse was gone.
His body overflowed with a new, terrifying energy.
Even his appearance looked younger, stronger… almost reborn.
Nobu clenched his fist.
"Just a little more… and I'll go home."
Meanwhile, in the outside world
Beru had built a family of his own—two sons, a peaceful life…
But the scar inside him never healed.
He never forgot Nobu.
Nobu wasn't just a friend.
He was the one who changed his life…
the one who treated him like real blood.
Whenever the wind blew, whenever nights were too silent, Beru still whispered:
"Brother… where are you?"
In Nobu's clan
Nobu's wife lived every day with a heartbreaking sadness.
At first, she believed Nobu would return.
Then the clan elders—Nobu's own parents—poisoned her heart:
"He left you."
"He built another family."
"He abandoned you."
Eventually… even she started to doubt her own feelings.
But she stayed strong for her sons.
Both boys grew up thinking their father betrayed them.
Luckily, Nobu's brother cared for them like his own, never letting them feel fatherless.
Life continued…
But the wounds remained.
The Great Clan Tournament
Every seven years, all major clans held a tournament in the main palace—
a grand arena where the young generation fought to make their name.
This year, the event was massive.
All clans gathered.
Families, warriors, nobles, leaders…
Including Beru and his family—VIP guests of the palace.
And then… Nobu returned to the city
He stood quietly at the border, wearing a hood, observing the familiar streets.
One of Beru's old gang members spotted him.
"N-Nobu?! You're alive! Should I inform—"
Nobu grabbed his shoulder.
"No. Don't tell anyone I'm back. Not yet."
The gang member hesitated.
Nobu continued:
"Just tell me what's happening."
He explained everything—the tournament, Beru attending, Nobu's clan being there along with his wife, his sons…
Nobu listened silently, eyes trembling—but not with weakness.
With determination.
He smiled for the first time in 15 years.
"Beru made a family… I'm happy for him."
"And your clan will also be there," the man added.
Nobu's heartbeat stopped for a moment.
His wife.
His sons.
The people he fought for.
He exhaled slowly… and said:
"I'll meet them.
But not as myself…
not yet."
He looked toward the grand palace.
"I will enter the tournament."
Not as Nobu.
But as an unknown fighter who would shake the entire world—
And stand before his family once again.
