His breath was heavy.
His hands were shaking.

They lied to him.
They promised the curse was gone.

One of the black-cloaked members stepped forward to stop him—

Nobu grabbed the man by the neck and lifted him off the ground effortlessly.
His glowing white eyes were filled with pure murderous intent.
The man choked, his face turning pale…
In the last moment, Nobu forcefully threw him away—
barely holding himself back from killing him with his own hands.
Because deep inside… he still wanted to remain human.
The elders of the organization appeared.
Among them stood a very old man—
skin like parchment, eyes like he had seen centuries pass.
Everyone bowed in fear.
He was the only one who knew everything about curses.
He stepped toward Nobu and spoke in a slow, terrifying voice:
"Your curse… was never removed."
Nobu's heart froze.
His fists clenched so tightly that blood dripped between his fingers.
The Elder continued:
"There are only two ways to end a curse like yours."
1️⃣ Someone Nobu truly loves must die.
The curse would consume their life instead… and vanish.
2️⃣ Nobu must defeat the curse inside his own mind
and seize control of it.
But the Elder's voice turned darker…
"Every person who tried the second way… failed."
"Their soul was devoured."
"Their body turned into a monster with no consciousness."
Nobu's chest tightened.
His wife's face appeared in his mind.
His twin sons' tiny hands…
The family he has never held for 15 long years.
Tears formed in his eyes—but his voice was filled with fire:
"I will never let anyone I love die because of me."
"If I have to fight this curse… I will win."
The Elder stared into Nobu's eyes…
And for the first time in decades—
he saw a warrior with unbreakable will.
But still, he warned:

"Only a demon wearing your skin."
Nobu closed his eyes…
And whispered:
