We were enveloped by a massive bubble of chaos, with an assortment of items strewn around us ranging from books to desks to tables everything you could possibly imagine and more creating a grand spectacle.
"Ow!" We all shriek. Upon impact with the ground, the breathtaking sight greeted my eyes: a magnificent forest lay before us, unlike any I had ever encountered.
"Wow what is-" Before Cole could finish his sentences, a sudden flash of light burst forth, it lasted for a few moment before vanishing. I saw we had accessories, Luna had a delicate light blue waterfall dew dro–p necklace, while I possessed a striking reddish-purple tiger eye glass stone hair brooch, and Cole bore a verdant anklets, that was made straight from nature.
"What are these?" I asked, as I reached out to touch my brooch, I was taken aback as it unexpectedly scalded me like genuine fire, causing me to recoil in pain. Luna then raised her hand, upon which a powerful surge of water erupted, propelling me forcefully several feet backwards into a cluster of trees, prompting Luna and Cole to hasten to my side. The world spun around me as Luna gently helped me back onto my feet, while Cole touched a nearby tree, setting off a remarkable chain reaction: as if provoked by his mere touch, the tree trembled violently, evoking the sensation of an earthquake, before the surrounding trees began a mesmerizing dance, their branches stretching skyward and adorning themselves with fresh foliage, their towering forms growing several feet taller before our eyes in a mesmerizing display of nature's wonder.
"What the hell is going on?!" Luna shrieked.
"It seems we have powers, mine must be nature, Sky is fire, and Luna is water," Cole said
"Not to mention that we got sucked into a portal which seems to be another dimension." Luna said.
"And on top of that we don't know how we are supposed to get back into our world!" I said.
"Halt! Stay where you are!" In the blink of an eye, there was a man in front of us pointing a sword at Luna's chest. Causing her to spring back a few feet in surprise. After a tense moment, he slowly lowered his sword. The man, a striking a cape. With black and gold-trimmed cuffs. A decorative black collar, set against a crisp white waistcoat cinched with a sleek black belt for a tailored finish. Completing the look are tall, elegant white and black boots with gleaming golden buttons.
"I'm sorry miss, are you hurt?" He asked. A light suddenly emerged, enveloping the man. As the glow dispersed, the man now donned stylish pants paired with a vibrant blue shirt. The cowboy hat remained, but in a shade of brown. His sword, vanished into thin air, with green forest eyes. Luna's eyes widen taken in the mans new appearances
"όχι, είμαι καλά" Whenever Luna is fluttered she starts speaking greek.
"Oh, you don't speak English? DO. NOT. BE. ALARMED. I. WILL. NOT. HURT. YOU!" He yelled making lots of gestures with his hands.
"Not speaking English doesn't make deaf" he put his arms down and smiled at her.
"You're pretty and have sass. I like that" Luna blushed, she had just met the man and he was already flirting with her?! Another voice unexpectedly emerged from the surroundings, catching our attention.
"I don't see anything, I think we're okay. But we can't be so sure. . . oh? Hello there" We observed a second individual emerging from the dense forest. This newcomer sported a cowboy hat similar to that of the young boy. The boy was around the same age as 'Mr Flirt' A black, double-breasted coat that falls gracefully with its long sleeves adorned with gold buttons and a pop of vibrant red trim and white web belt, adding a touch of modern flair. And a crisp white gloves and matching black and white armband.
A mysterious light enveloped him, and in an instant, his attire transformed. The man now stood before us wore, white sneakers, and blue jeans, with his bow and arrows nowhere to be seen.
"Okay! If that's all the jungle man let's introduce ourselves. My name is Luna, that's Sky and Cole. What are your guy's names?" Luna said.
"My name is Luka, and this is my friend, Arthur," Luka said pointing at Arthur.
"So what are three monsters doing out in the middle of the woods?" Arthur asked.
"We got pulled in by a tentacle and fell in and don't know how to get back home" Arthur and Luka looked at each other. They knew something that we didn't. Luka was walking around us taking in every detail of us.
"They're from a different dimension, which means. . . ." Arthur looked at Luka, hoping he knew what he was going to say. But Luka had others things on his mind, he seemed to be more relaxed knowing that three monsters just got pulled into their dimension.
"You're right. . . .we got to show them around! We can show them the lake, the city, the stores, other parts of the forest. . . ."
"Luka! Focus!" Arthur snapped.
"Oh come on Arthur, lighten up! It's not everyday that monsters from a different world fall into our world and we get to meet them!" Arthur huffed, and rubbed his temples.
"Fine" Arthur rolled his eyes, "We can start with the. . ."
CRACK!
"What was that?!" I whipped around, my eyes scanning all around me, looking for the source of the noise.
CRACK! CRACK!
It's getting louder, who ever or what ever this is, it's coming closer.
CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!
"AAAAAAAA!" Luna and Cole yelled. Soldiers surrounded us from all directions. A massive cage was hauled forward by some of the men, Luna and Cole, were forcefully thrust inside. Luna's groan and Cole grasped for his ribs. A strange power within me surged to life, my eyes glowing crimson as my body ascended above the ground. With a swift motion, I seized three soldiers by their jackets and hurled them into the distance, their exact whereabouts obscured by the distance. Continuing my display of force, I relentlessly grabbed hold of soldiers, forcefully dispatching them away. I emitting an ear-splitting screech, the ground quivered beneath me, causing even Cole, Luna, Arthur, and Luka to lose their balance and shield their ears from the deafening sound.
"Sky please stop!" Cole and Luna whimpered.
I snapped out of it and the glow in my eyes faded. Seizing the moment, a soldier launched a explosive device towards the back of my leg, causing a blast that felt my leg had been splintered into a multitude of fragments. Overwhelmed by the excruciating pain, I succumbed to unconsciousness, plummeting heavily to the ground. Another soldier swiftly seized me and flung me mercilessly into the confinements of a nearby cage with a resounding impact. Luna and Cole ran towards me, anxiously checking for signs of life.
"What he fuck was that about Sky?!" I have never hurt a monster like that before. Cole could see on my face that I didn't know what happened either and just couldn't put it into words.
"We'll bring them for the king to judge their fate!" One of the soldiers yelled. The soldier's horses started pulling on the cage and we started moving. Arthur and Luka came running up to us.
"Don't worry guys I'll get you out of there" Arthur walked over to one of the soldiers.
"What's going on?! I didn't order you to attack them!" His face fuming with rage. The solider got on one knee and bowed his head.
"I'm sorry sir but you know the rules, no monsters are allowed in this part of the forest" The soldiers bowed down to him.
"I know that is a rule but it said you are not allowed to hurt them unless they attack first but they didn't!" The solider got to his feet but still didn't answer him.
"I'm sorry, your highness, but it's out of our hands now. The king is the one who is make the decision if they live or die" Arthur's face went pale and he looked down.
"Where are you talking to us?" Cole asked. Arthur and Luka got shivers down their back.
"They are taking you to the king" Luka said.
"My Dad" Arthur shuddered.
"Don't worry guys, we'll save you from this, okay?" Luka said, we all nodded slowly.
"We have to go now, but we'll see you in the morning" We nodded, trusting them for what ever they were going to do. Luka and Arthur ran off and disappeared into the woods. It was quite for a few hours until Cole said something.
"Cole, can you promise me something? I need you to promise to fight on and Luna and my side every step of the way"
"Of course, you and me against the world. If I promise, then you have to promise me something." Cole's smile portrayed his mischievousness as he declared, "From now on, I'm going to call you diamond," beaming down at me. After a few minutes, Luna and I drifted off to sleep. However, sleep eluded Cole as he lay awake, his mind consumed by thoughts of the recent events. Just a few hours earlier, he was in his world, preoccupied with hockey and our relationship. Now, he's facing the reality of our capture and the looming threat of death the next day.
