This was Odis's strategy: since the opponent's "falling tricks" and other "magic tricks" were difficult to deal with, he could lure the opponent closer and then launch an attack.
When Eden first spoke, Odis knew that the other party would definitely fall for it, because Eden was a bit too confident and might underestimate his opponent.
As Odis had predicted, he successfully kicked Eden down and then immediately jumped up to give chase.
After Eden rolled a few times, he raised his hand towards Odis again, and suddenly a thick fog appeared in front of the two of them.
Odis actually barged in, and as soon as he entered the thick fog, he was ambushed and punched in the chest.
But Odis seemed oblivious to pain. He grabbed Eden's wrist with one hand, clenched his fist with the other, and struck his opponent hard under the armpit, sending him flying and crashing into a wall.
Inside the knight's robes worn by Odis were the improved "defense arrays" he had drawn.
"Low-sequence" punches and kicks were just a tickle to him.
The fog quickly dissipated, and Odis relentlessly pursued, continuing his attack.
Eden quickly pressed his hand against the wall behind him, creating an illusory door, and hid inside the room.
He leaned against the wall, clutching his armpits, looking pained. He felt like he was about to faint from the pain with every breath.
But Eden didn't dare linger and quickly ran to the other side of the house.
Odis did indeed immediately leap to the top of the wall, and just as he was about to continue his attack, Eden reached out and his body suddenly burst forth with light, illuminating the entire room.
Odis was prepared and turned her head away, but her eyes were still slightly dazzled, and everything in front of her went black for a second or two before she recovered.
But by this time, Eden had already used her "open door" ability again to escape from the room.
Odis continued to chase, but suddenly his foot slipped again, and he fell off the wall.
He quickly flipped over, landing on his back. His knight's uniform once again shielded him from the fall. This time, he didn't stop, but instead sprang to his feet and chased after his opponent at top speed.
Because of this delay, Eden had already run six or seven meters.
Although Odis was agile, he was not good at running. After chasing for half a minute, he only closed the gap by a meter or two.
Eden's injuries had almost healed, and he once again went to a wall and "pushed the door" to enter.
Just like before, Odis jumped to the top of the wall, and as soon as he stood on it, a cold light flew towards him.
He quickly dodged, only to find it was a sharp knife.
Only then did Odis get a clear look at the interior of the house. The rooms were very well recreated, even the beds had sheets. Correspondingly, the kitchen also had a complete set of knives.
That sharp knife was just a kitchen knife.
Eden was very familiar with the scene, so he went straight into the kitchen and attacked Odis with the knives inside.
According to the rules, although weapons are not allowed to be brought into the arena, the props inside can be used, and these knives are one of the props.
Throwing knives is also a kind of magic trick. With a smile, Eden threw the knives in his hand accurately at Odis.
Theoretically, Odis should have immediately dodged and sought a way to fight back.
But Odis, contrary to his usual behavior, suddenly opened his arms and lunged at Eden, letting the knives pierce his chest.
This response surprised the audience, eliciting gasps of astonishment once again.
This also exceeded Eden's expectations. It wasn't until Odis pounced close that he reacted and stepped back.
But he retreated a little too late; Odis struck out with his outstretched arms, hitting Eden in both ears.
Eden was immediately dizzy, the ringing in his ears drowning out all other sounds, and he almost reflexively raised his hand to use the "falling technique".
Oddess slipped at first, but this time he managed to grab the table and brace himself with one hand.
Eden plopped down on the ground, her eyes somewhat dazed.
If it were an ordinary person, Odis would have knocked them unconscious with that attack.
Odis quickly moved forward and continued the pursuit. Eden had no choice but to grit his teeth and persevere. He once again emitted light, hoping to blind Odis and buy himself time to recover and escape.
But Odis simply closed his eyes and kicked Eden in the chest, sending him crashing into the cupboard and knocking him unconscious.
Odis then casually pulled the two daggers out of his chest and threw them on the ground.
It was only then that everyone noticed that there was no blood on Odis's chest!
How come the sharp knife didn't hurt him?
At this point, the referee announced: "Lelouch wins."
Odis paused for a moment before remembering that the name she had left here before was Lelouch.
He kicked the door open and walked toward the iron gate with some disappointment.
Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!
Odis had initially thought this would be a worthy opponent, but to her surprise, her opponent relied entirely on his extraordinary abilities, and his weak defense was quickly exposed once they got close.
However, applause did erupt in the audience, even more enthusiastic than the applause at the end of the last match.
Although the match wasn't particularly exciting in terms of performance, Odis once again demonstrated a significant advantage by defeating an opponent that everyone considered quite strong, hence the applause.
Odis ignored the applause and strode back to the lounge. The middle-aged man who looked like a butler immediately stepped forward and smiled, "Mr. Lelouch, you have won two matches in a row. In the next match, we will arrange an even stronger opponent for you. Please be prepared."
"Of course, the corresponding remuneration will also increase."
Odis nodded: "It's best not to let me win so easily again."
They came here to hone their fighting skills, but both opponents were unsatisfactory.
The previous opponent was at least quite skilled in combat, but today's opponent's combat skills are only slightly better than those of an average person.
Before the middle-aged man who looked like a butler could speak, a voice from the doorway said, "Such arrogance."
Odis looked towards the door. The person who came in was a middle-aged man with two Hōzuki Gengetsu hairpins. Odis had seen him before. It was when he returned to the lounge after the last competition. At that time, the middle-aged man was holding a two-handed greatsword and preparing for the competition.
The butler immediately smiled and said, "Mr. Chibman."
The middle-aged man called Chibman smiled slightly and then said to Odis, "Your fighting skills are indeed very good, but not to the point where you have no rivals."
Then he said, "How about we go outside and talk?"
Odis declined, saying, "Sorry, I don't have time."
He laughed and said, "I'm waiting for my payment."
Chibman was slightly taken aback, seemingly not expecting Odis to refuse.
The butler immediately replied, "It'll be here right away."
He then said to Odis, "Mr. Lelouch, this Mr. Chibman is one of our top players."
The implication is that you shouldn't refuse so bluntly.
"I understand." Odis nodded and said, "Mr. Chibman, your companion Eden is really weak."
