Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 — Blood Stalk

After informing Elena and Li Hua, the users of the Gamer Driver and Rider Gashats, that the "game" was about to officially begin—meaning the Bugster Virus would soon break out—giving them mental preparation, Dan ended the communication with Seito Hospital.

"Master, I've already handed the Gashat to Parado. He should be on his way to the location of the Space Stone by now.

What do you and Izu require me to do next?"

Azu stood behind Dan, her soft white hands resting lightly on his shoulders, deliberately exhaling gently as she asked.

Kuroto nodded slightly, glancing at Izu who pursed her lips without changing her expression.

"You two are my secretaries. Normally, unless there is something very specific for you to handle, I won't have you go out into the field. Just stay by my side and help handle internal matters."

"Master can't bear to send me away, is that it?" Azu acted surprised, eyes sparkling.

"Master said us!" Izu puffed her cheeks in protest, clearly dissatisfied with Azu twisting the meaning.

"Is that so?" Azu blinked innocently with a baffled look.

"But since the game has now begun, it's time to arrange and refine our plans properly.

Let me use the Gaia Library to look into the hidden truths of this planet—things we didn't know before. We may need to adjust our setup."

Dan spoke calmly, mentally preparing to immerse himself in the Earth Library.

Hearing this, both Izu and Azu quieted down at once, ending their quarrel.

"I'll go make Master a cup of tea." Izu said at the perfect moment and turned to leave.

Not to be outdone, Azu immediately began massaging his shoulders.

Dan smiled faintly and sank his consciousness into the Gaia Library.

Although from all the information collected so far, Dan had confirmed—based on the Earth Library's search results—that the world he was in aligned with the Marvel Cinematic Universe storyline, at least on the surface.

If he didn't interfere, events should unfold according to the MCU's established plot.

But this was a real world—and the movies only displayed the narrative necessary for cinematic storytelling, not the entire truth. A few films couldn't possibly depict the real structure of the world.

Before now, Kuroto had no effective way to investigate what was hidden behind the scenes, so he never dug deeper.

Genm Corporation was, after all, just a normal game development company—aside from himself and Izu, Azu, the employees were all ordinary people.

The Tree of Life Foundation, though advanced in mechanical biological science, still could only access surface-level world information.

With ARK's AI system, Dan could easily hack into sensitive intelligence networks—such as national security agencies, the CIA, FBI, even SHIELD (Hydra).

However, even SHIELD only grasped fragments of the world's true nature. They knew nothing of things like the lineage of Sorcerer Supremes who protected Earth from dimensional demons, or of Earth's ancient gods—their information base was far too shallow.

It seemed the world contained far more hidden history than the MCU had ever shown.

Now that the Gaia Library was complete, Kuroto finally possessed a method to uncover these truths—of course he would explore.

First, what interested him most were the ancient gods of Earth. Without doubt, many divine pantheons once existed.

But in the movies, the only pantheon that appeared openly was the Norse Aesir. The others vanished entirely.

Only the Kunlun of China remained faintly present, connected to Chinese mythology—Iron Fist had trained there and gained the power of the dragon.

"Search: Ancient Gods of Earth."

Dan commanded from within the Gaia Library.

Books appeared around him, history volumes opened themselves, pages turning rapidly and projecting knowledge into his mind.

"So that's how it was."

Having processed all the information, Dan understood.

According to the records, Earth once truly held multiple pantheons—Chinese, Norse, Egyptian, Greek, Indian, Native American, South American…

But long ago, a group of powerful cosmic gods descended upon Earth, triggering a catastrophic war.

The Earth Library lacked detailed information about those cosmic entities, but it was obvious they were the Celestials of the Marvel universe.

After that war, Earth's native gods vanished—except for the Aesir and Some Gods. The rest were annihilated.

What happened to the Aesir and others afterward remained unknown—having departed Earth, they fell outside the Earth Library's records.

From the MCU plot, Dan knew the Aesir had moved into space, relocating Asgard off-world.

[Some Yap about Chinese Gods being stronger. I removed it]

"Hmm? A plant originating from another star—the Celestial Blossom left behind by Ego, Star-Lord's father, from the Guardians of the Galaxy?"

Kuroto's expression shifted as he found the item during a search for objects beyond Earth Library's analytical range.

So Ego was indeed Peter Quill's father, just like in the MCU.

Since the Guardians story took place entirely in space, Dan had simply ignored it for the time being—but in doing so, he overlooked something extremely valuable.

The Celestial Blossom could be used as high-tier material for creating a Rider System, its power level massive.

Earlier, without the Gaia Library, trying to find a random wildflower hidden somewhere in the vast state of Missouri was almost impossible.

Now, he could pinpoint its location instantly.

According to canon, Ego was a living planet, projecting avatar bodies throughout space, leaving a flower on any planet he passed, preparing to devour all life in the universe.

To accomplish this, he required a child to inherit his divine power—leading to Star-Lord's birth. Quill was one of many children Ego created across the universe—the only successful one.

Although the flower looked perfectly ordinary, once activated, it could cover an entire planet and consume all living beings.

"This is excellent material for constructing a Rider system. Parado can retrieve it next."

And indeed, before Parado even returned with the Tesseract's space energy, Kuroto had already queued another mission.

One Week Later

While most believed Tony Stark to be dead, the military unexpectedly announced that he had safely returned.

Dan now possessed both the Gashat infused with Space Stone energy and the Celestial Blossom.

After Kamen Rider Chronicle absorbed the energy of space law, Dan first recreated the ability to generate Dimensional Walls—the spatial gates essential for Rider travel.

With them, he could theoretically teleport anywhere in the universe, but without coordinates, it was meaningless, likely sending someone into empty void.

However, paired with the Gaia Library, he now had instant access to any location on Earth—and could send anyone anywhere. Extremely useful.

"Well then…"

Dan took from Izu a glass containment chamber, holding the Celestial Blossom inside. He removed the flower and examined it briefly.

Activating Kamen Rider Chronicle, he let the flower dissolve in his hand, rapidly restructuring into a glowing liquid, swirling like gemstone-like gel.

With a sweep of his arm, part of the liquid drifted forward, swelling into a humanoid shape, forming limbs, features, and clothing.

A man with an unrestrained, drifting aura appeared, looking at his new body like someone reborn.

"Evolto, you'll use this Steam Gun for now."

Dan shaped the remaining substance into a compact hybrid gun-blade and tossed it to the man.

Evolto caught it, inspecting it casually. He held his hands as if gripping something invisible, and red light flickered—condensing into a bottle topped with a cobra emblem.

Evolto kissed the bottle lightly, loaded it into the Steam Gun, and pulled the trigger.

"Steam Blood!"

"Mist Match!"

Sound effects roared.

Steam enveloped him, sparks crackling across his body.

When the smoke dispersed, a Rider form appeared—the red-armored serpent-themed warrior with curved horns and indigo visor:

Blood Stalk.

"Boss, when can I use the Evol-Driver?"

Evolto rested the gun on his shoulder casually.

"Watch your tone!" Azu snapped coldly, glaring at his reckless attitude.

Dan smiled, patting her shoulder.

"If you insist on an Evol-Driver, I can craft one now…

But it would only be a degraded prototype."

Although the Celestial Blossom was powerful enough to consume a planet, it still wasn't the ideal material compared to the Pandora Box or the Blood Tribe, so he only created a transitional Steam System.

"Then forget it. This is fine for now. I'll follow your arrangements, Boss."Evolto shrugged at Azu, then gave Kuroto a gentleman's bow.
