"Hey, Mr. Nelson! Are you still awake?" I called out, desperate for some conversation with him.
The man beside me was still fuming from our earlier encounter, cursing silently in his head. So now she wants to chat? After I attempted to engage her and got completely ignored? Well, now she's the one reaching out, but I won't make it that easy for her!
"Asleep already? Whatever then!" I grumbled to myself, shutting my eyes and trying to drift off.
Eventually, Leonardo picked up on my soft, steady breathing that signaled I'd fallen asleep.
