Leonardo's POV
After I finished handling my personal business, I spun around and felt my blood freeze when I spotted Veronica standing in the doorway. The shock hit me like lightning!
Completely out of nowhere!
What the hell was Veronica doing here?
My pulse hammered against my ribs, but I forced my face into stone, my stare turning arctic. I moved toward the sink, acting like I needed to wash my hands to hide how rattled I was, watching her reflection in the mirror.
In a voice that could cut glass, I demanded, "What's your game here? We're done. Why are you still stalking me?"
I figured she'd tailed me here and was now cornering me in the bathroom, maybe even watching me while I handled private matters!
Veronica didn't say a word. She just brushed past me into the restroom.
The spacious bathroom had urinals lined up on one wall and private stalls along the other.
BANG! Veronica slammed her foot into one of the stall doors and started inspecting each one.
