"I dare?"
My voice cut through the room like ice, my stare deadly sharp.
Not a chance. Even if my own father had screwed up, I wouldn't let it slide!
Chaim and Aarav moved fast, grabbing Altair's arms and yanking them behind his back. He fought against their grip, screaming, "Leonardo! You've completely lost it!"
I kept Altair's dirty schemes to myself. No point airing family business in public. What he'd done was disgusting, but the Nelson would handle it internally.
"Get him out of here!"
"Yes, sir!"
Chaim and Aarav dragged Altair toward the exit.
Even at the door, he kept yelling, "Leonardo, you backstabbing bastard! Turning on your own blood... you're sick, twisted!"
Who's really the sick one here?
Altair was a pro at flipping the script.
