Veronica's POV
Alonzo wouldn't budge, flaunting his status like a badge. "Cohen, I hold VIP status at Shangri-La. Even if I screwed up, you can't seriously expect me to grovel, right?"
Leonardo's icy stare fixed on him. "VIP status means nothing. Cohen, handle this."
Cohen caught the message instantly, summoning the lobby manager and entire wait staff with a sharp gesture.
"Listen carefully! Alonzo's VIP privileges are revoked effective immediately. His entire VIG group gets blacklisted too! None of them set foot in this establishment again!"
Alonzo's face flushed crimson at Cohen's decree. "What the hell does that mean, Cohen?"
Cohen didn't bother with an answer, just waved his hand. "Security!"
Obsidian-suited bodyguards swarmed into the room, seizing Alonzo. One delivered a brutal kick behind his knee.
"Thud!"
Alonzo crashed to the floor, cold steel pressed against his temple.
"Alonzo apologizes or no one saves him!" Cohen declared.
