Chapter 80 - Chapter 80: Who among the following characters cannot lift Thor’s hammer?

"No! How could this be? It's impossible!"

Thor was deeply agitated, shaking his head repeatedly and shouting non-stop, truly resembling a madman at that moment.

The poor God of Thunder truly couldn't accept it.

He was the God of Thunder!

Being stripped of his divine power and unable to lift his hammer was barely enough acceptable, after all, that hammer was still a divine artifact.

But for a mortal from Midgard to pick it up when he couldn't—what kind of situation was this?

Thor's heart simply couldn't bear it.

"Steve, give me back the hammer. Something must be wrong. If you can pick it up, there's no reason I shouldn't be able to!"

Thor excitedly approached Captain America, extending his hand and speaking to him.

Captain America handed the hammer to Thor.

Clang!

An embarrassing thing happened: as soon as Captain America let go, the hammer crashed heavily to the ground.

It even caused Thor to stumble, nearly dragging him to the ground.

Then Thor once again exerted all his strength, trying to "pull" Mjolnir from various angles and positions, but in the end, he was left breathless, unable to budge the hammer an inch.

"No!"

Greatly struck, Thor's knees buckled, and he fell to the ground, raising his hands to the sky and roaring.

His posture gave off a strong sense of Yuan Hua struggling with a test question.

"Why, Father!"

"Why!"

Thor roared continuously.

"Thor, we can figure out why you can't lift the hammer later, but for now, let's leave here," Nick Fury said to Thor seriously.

With that, he called out to Captain America, "Captain, put the hammer away."

Captain America didn't say much, simply reaching out and effortlessly picking up Mjolnir, looking as if it weighed nothing.

"Looking at it this way, I feel like the Captain and the hammer are a good match," Coulson muttered weakly from the side.

Fortunately, Thor was currently distraught and mentally unwell, so he didn't notice Coulson's remark, otherwise, his heart would have undoubtedly taken a critical hit.

"This isn't logical. Why can he pick it up, but I can't?"

Iron Man stood aside, looking very unconvinced. "Is it because the Captain is a super-soldier?"

"Stark, why are you so frustrated? This isn't your hammer. The one who should really be frustrated is him." Black Widow glanced at the big oaf kneeling on the ground.

"Thor, come back to SHIELD with us first. You can try again then, for as long as you want. But for now, pull yourself together."

Nick Fury walked up to Thor again and helped him up from the ground.

"Thank you, Nick Fury, you're a good man," Thor said sincerely, looking at Nick Fury with grateful eyes.

"A new round of questions is starting. All contestants, please prepare."

Just as everyone was about to leave, a synthesized electronic voice suddenly rang out.

At the same time, a highly futuristic glowing screen abruptly appeared before their eyes.

Not only that, but the numerous SHIELD personnel who had been around, as well as the many townspeople watching from beyond the cordon, all froze in place.

"What's going on?" Thor was a little bewildered. He looked around confusedly, then seemed to realize something. "Loki, is that you?"

Only Loki, skilled in magic, could accomplish all this, right?

Had Loki come for him?

A hint of joy appeared on Thor's face.

"Thor, this has nothing to do with Loki. I can only earnestly remind you to answer the questions carefully from now on." Nick Fury sternly warned Thor, "Perhaps you will gain something unexpected."

"Questions? What questions?" Thor was still completely bewildered.

"Simply put, this large screen is actually a quiz system, and it will randomly issue some questions."

"But those questions are just a formality. The real purpose of the quiz system is perhaps to use those questions to foreshadow some information about the future for us."

Iron Man explained concisely to Thor at this moment.

"Foreshadow the future? That's impossible!" Thor couldn't help but shake his head. "Even my great father can only vaguely see fragments of the future!"

"Perhaps your father isn't the greatest being in this universe." Iron Man shrugged.

"You dare to look down on my father?" Thor grew a little angry, glaring at Iron Man and speaking in a low growl.

"I'm just stating a fact to you." Iron Man didn't care about Thor's anger, remaining calm.

"Thor, the quiz system can not only predict the future but also impose punishments and rewards on the contestants. So Nick Fury is right, you need to answer the questions carefully and thoroughly from now on."

"Believe me, it won't do you any harm."

Black Widow also spoke up to remind Thor.

"All right, everyone, quiet down. The quiz is about to begin." Captain America scanned the group and said in a deep voice.

He noticed that there were quite a few people participating in the quiz this time.

Besides Nick Fury and Tony Stark, who had participated with him last time, there were also two other SHIELD agents: Black Widow and Coulson.

Plus Thor, who had just arrived on Earth.

There were a total of six people.

Among these six people, except for Thor, the other five were not participating in the quiz for the first time.

Therefore, they all appeared very calm, even showing immense anticipation on their faces.

Only Thor looked surprised and uncertain.

Thor saw that everyone seemed to highly regard this quiz system. Although he hadn't fully believed their talk of foreshadowing the future, he had developed great curiosity about the quiz system.

He wanted to see what this quiz system was all about.

"Please answer the question: Among the following characters, which one cannot lift Thor's Hammer, Mjolnir?"

"A. Odin, the All-Father."

"B. Hela, the Goddess of Death."

"C. The Hulk."

"D. Vision."

"Friendly reminder: Correct answers will receive the reward of a single tomoe Sharingan; incorrect answers will result in a random deduction of one personal attribute, including but not limited to knowledge, experience, skills, possessions, etc."

"This is the so-called quiz system? This is ridiculous!"

Thor couldn't help but point at the quiz system and shout. Fortunately, the other party was just a screen and not a person, otherwise, Thor might have thrown a punch.

What the hell was this nonsense?

Mjolnir was his exclusive divine artifact, Thor's Hammer. Besides him, Thor, and, well, his father Odin, how could anyone else possibly lift it?

But this question clearly implied that besides him and Odin, two other people could lift Thor's Hammer!

And that wasn't even counting Steve Rogers, who had just lifted Mjolnir right in front of him!

What a joke!
