I Went around doing different kinds of odd jobs and getting my day going.
I've probably done 6 side missions in the last 2 days.
They asked me not to over do it... but as a worthless adventurer, this was my life...
Do odd jobs and survive...
If my sister decides not to take care of me... i wonder... will i have to continue living like this?

"I'll take this quest."
I stated as i showed my 7th quest in just 2 days.
The receptionist looked at me in worry.
I felt flattered that she cared but this was all i could do...
"Are you sure, sir?"
"Yes!"
i stated, completely out of gas.
"Very well!"
she sighed and singed the quest and stamped it.
...
"Here you go!"
I stated as i gave her the materials they were looking for.
"Thank you for your hardwork!"
I wanted to see the cute receptionist's face but there was someone else present.
"Here you go."
I looked around hoping to possibly get a glance of her...
but, she was nowhere to be found.
I took the coins and left in disappointment.
I had my usual meals and went back for my afternoon shift when mom stopped me
"Son... areyou alright?"
Hmm...
"Nothing... my party members are here, i'll help them raid a dungeon and come back."
I... didn't tell my mother that i was kicked out of the party.
I was afraid... afraid that she'd faint if she heard that i lost all the money.
She was all i had... even my sister doesn't like me all that much...
I have to keep her good until sister can take over...
I Have to make sure she stays healthy and recovers from her illness.
I actually was going to ask the saintess for her help after she confessed her love to me and we started dating but...
Haha... the look Chloe had as she gave that disgustful look on her face...
Why did i even think they liked me...
"You rest mom, ill be back and cook something nice."
I saved enough extra money for us to have some meat.

After finishing my quest and earning 2 silvers... i finally got the slice of meat i always wanted.
I took the freshly cut meat and sung some rhythems as i walked To the ally near the house as i greeted all the cute ladies.
They gave me a disgustful look and i feeling dejected still didn't stop greeting them as i was in a god mood.
Some greeted awkwardly, while some didn't eply at all and some just looked at me with eyes filled with disgust.
I wondered how could a women's face distort to such an extent...
Than looked at my own face as i passed through a mirror.
Than i realised why that was...
It was so perfect the timing of the mirror that i wondered, if it was a signal from god that i was damn ugly...
But god didn't have to tell me, i was already aware of my own uglyness.
I Finally reached my home and creaked the door open.
"Mom... I bought us some meat..."
i stated as i looked up with a bright smile
"mom..."
My face sitffened, as i saw my mother collapsed on the ground.
"hey... mommm get up..."
I pused her around to wake her up.
"heyy, this..."
she didn't wake up.
"momm..."
I splashed some water...
"MOOOMMM!!!!!!!"
she wouldn't wake up.
I felt my heart sink, as i was falling in despair over my dead mother...
People slammed the door open
"Hey... what happened? why are you screaming like that."
The old man at the front asked without lookinga t his surroundings.
'M..MO... MOOOMMMMMM!! My mom... she she's dead... please, please somebody.... PLEASE SAVE... he..r-"
"Hey, KIDDD!!!"
Before i could say anything else... i saw myself falling unconcious...
...
i got up from the hospital bed...
"Aah, you are up, just in time aswell."
The old man sitting next to me said.
"Doctor, doctorr!! He is up, please quicklyy!!!"
The doctor came towards me as he did some small examinations.
"How are_"
"My motherr! My mother, doctor... how is she?"
I asked, in despair.
"Your mother... if this goes on any longer... she probably won't last a month.'
The doctor stated, i felt my world crashing down.

"We will need to do a surgery, it'll cost 10 gold coins and... you'll need to make her live in a better environment, if not... she would'nt survive for long."
was what the doctor said.
Right now, i needed 15 gold coins at least.
I asked the receptionist if i could get a job that paid 15 gold instantly, she told me that was not possible.
I went to loan sharks, shady businesses and even cascinos to beg them for 15 gold coins.
But, i couldn't find one person who was willing enough to give me any money.
He gave me 5 days to arrange the money and 2 of the days were already down.
I was out of options.
I Came back to the hospital to bid my mother farewell and die along with her.
"Aah, son... i heard that my surgery would take place 3 days from now and i would be better again? The moment i get better... i'll be sure to cook you a nice meal, you have been working so well!"
My mom stated with a gentle smile on her face.
My heart sank, i didn't even know what to say to my mother who was hoping for a good life from a worthless son like me.
"M... MOM, ill... ill be back!"
I ra towards the washroom as i felt nausia all over my body.
"Blegh'
i vomited for a while until i finally stopped.
I was in a state of despair.
I Didn't know how to save my mother...
why me? why did a mother like her have to give birth to a worthless trash like me?
If she had given birth to emilia before me... she'd ahve taken care of this whole situation without issues.
I on the other hand was absolutely useless.
I... The son she put everything into couldn't even get a single penny after begging with his hands and legs on the ground.
I was even desperate enough to catch their legs and beg them for money... yet, i got nothing.
I Was kicked, beaten and even spat on but i didn't receive a single penny.
What do i do now? Who can i beg to? who would be willing to...
Wait... would they give me any...
I have the exact money for 2 days worth of transport...
If i get nothing... i can just kill myself.
