Hundreds of blood weapons of different shapes and sizes launched themselves at Eden looking to pierce him from every direction.
Looking up at the weapons falling towards him Eden spoke casually. " Okay. Time to get a bit serious ". He remarked. As his eyes glowed a dangerous dark purple.
He evaded all of them. Teleporting away. And when he reappeared at the other end of the battlefield.
And for a moment. Silence returned to this chaotic plain.
Atticus rolled his ever muscular shoulder. Broad-backed, thick-armed, built like he had been carved rather than grown. Purple embers licked along his knuckles as he clenched his fists. Blood trickled from a shallow cut on his forearm, but he didn't wipe it away. He smiled instead.
"Still standing, Eden?" he asked, voice low and confident. "You should've stayed on the ground."
Across from him, Eden exhaled, slim frame relaxed in contrast to the violence humming around him. He was leaner, more athletic, his movements economical; no wasted tension. Crimson lightning crackled faintly all around him like living veins.
"You talk too much," Eden replied calmly. "That's why you bleed first."
Atticus laughed and slammed his palm into his own chest.
' Blood / Fire art: Sanguine Ignition.'
The blood on his arm burst into purple flame, feeding back into his body. Veins glowed amethyst as raw power flooded his muscles. The ground beneath his feet cratered as he launched forward.
Eden didn't retreat. He stepped in.
Atticus threw a brutal right hook, shoulder and hips rotating perfectly, the punch backed by destruction mana. Eden slipped inside the arc, forearm snapping up to deflect while his other hand struck Atticus ribs—sharp, precise.
' Annihilation Pulse '.
A compressed blast detonated on impact. Atticus grunted, sliding back a half-step, feet scraping stone.
He answered with a knee aimed for Eden's chest, purple fire roaring along his thigh.
Eden caught the leg.
The impact cracked the ground, but the red haired teenager twisted with it, redirecting the force.
Still holding the leg. He wrenched it sideways and slammed Kade face-first into the ground.
Stone exploded.
Before Atticus could rise, Eden was on him, elbow dropping for the back of his neck.
Atticus snarled and erupted with a wave of magic power. Sending Eden flying.
He crash landed a few meters away but the Barbarian wasn't one to let go of an advantage.
' Blood art: Crimson Anchor '.
Blood erupted from the ground around Eden, forming long thick chains, latching onto his limbs. Atticus pulled with all of his strength .
The pull was savage, yanking him forward. Atticus surged forward, headbutting him square in the face.
He staggered, vision flashing white.
The barbarian didn't give him space. He followed with a barrage—left hook, right cross, body shot—each blow trailing purple fire, each one capable of shattering bone. Eden blocked what he could, redirected what he couldn't, but the weight difference told.
A purple-flamed uppercut slipped through and lifted Eden off his feet.
Atticus raised both hands using another technique of his.
' Flame art: Violet Pyre '
A pillar of purple fire roared upward, engulfing Eden midair.
For a moment, it looked over.
Then gravity shifted.
The flames warped inward, crushed by an invisible force.
From the center of the inferno, crimson lightning split the sky.
' Gravity X 10 '.
Eden dropped through the fire like a falling star, slamming into Kade with multiplied weight. The impact drove the Nexarii to one knee, breath exploding from his lungs.
Eden landed on his feet, blood running from his mouth, eyes sharp.
He struck.
A palm to the sternum.
' Crimson Surge '.
Crimson Lightning detonated inside Kade's chest, bypassing muscle and bone. Atticus screamed, purple flames flaring wildly as he stumbled back.
[ "Don't you think this is going too far?" ] Elyon asked on the side. And truly the fight had escalated from the spar it was to something else.
" He can take it ". He retorted glancing at the glowing runes all over his opponent's body. "We could always patch him up. I am going to that place. Will just have to push the journey to the republic a bit longer "
Meanwhile, Atticus roared and tore open his own forearm with his teeth.
Blood sprayed across the ground. As he activated his blood art.
The spilled blood ignited, rising into the air like a storm of burning petals. It wrapped around Kade, forming armor with spikes, burning with violet fire.
He charged like a living war engine.
Eden met him head-on.
Their fists collided—shockwaves ripping outward. Eden slid under a sweeping blade, drove a punch into the Barbarian's kidney, then twisted space to appear above him.
A heel drop aimed at Atticus's spine.
He crossed his arms and caught it, muscles screaming.
He hurled the red haired young man into a wall.
Eden teleported,an instant before impact and reappeared behind him, already striking. Elbow to the jaw. Knee to the thigh. Palm to the throat.
Each hit precise. Ruthless.
Atticus swung blindly, purple fire carving trenches through the air.
Eden ducked, stepped inside, and slammed his forehead into his nose.
Cartilage shattered.
Atticus staggered, blood pouring freely now.
Eden raised one hand, lightning coiling.
' Executioner's Line '.
The bolt lanced through Atticus's shoulder, pinning him to the ground.
Gravity surged, forcing him down to one knee.
Still, Atticus laughed through the pain.
"You're ridiculously strong," he admitted. "But I'm not done."
Purple fire erupted violently.
' Destruction / Fire art: Violet Oblivion '.
The battlefield began to collapse.
" I'm afraid i can't let you do that ".
Eden didn't hesitate.
He stepped forward, placing two fingers against Atticus's chest.
The world slowed.
' King's Pressure '.
Atticus's body locked. Muscles seized. His mana faltered under the crushing force.
Eden leaned in, voice quiet. "You fought well," he said. "But I win ". He said snapping his fingers.
Space itself curled inward, disrupting the flow of mana through Kade's core. The purple fire sputtered, then died.
Atticus collapsed, unconscious before he hit the ground.
The lightning faded. Gravity released
The fight was over.
