Chapter 18 - Unforgivable

"Hahaha! Is this little bastard crazy?"

"Just a bunch of thugs? Haha! This kid must be insane! Don't fight over it, guys. I want to break one of his hands first, make him kneel down, and beg me in tears."

A group of burly men roared with laughter, laughing without restraint.

A mere seventeen or eighteen-year-old kid, yet he claimed he could take on all of them. It was probably the funniest joke they'd ever heard in their lives.

I strolled forward, gently twisted my neck, and loosened my tie.

My expression gradually darkened until it was as cold as ice.

I hadn't been this angry for a long time, and these people dared to say they would cripple me right in front of me, and they insulted Jessica.

"Unforgivable!"

I murmured, my gaze growing even colder.

"Brat, watch me beat you to death!" A burly man shouted coldly, charging at me like a wolf or tiger, throwing a punch aimed directly at my face.

There was a hint of excitement on his face, a cruel smile, knowing that with this punch, he'd definitely make my face bloom like a flower. He could almost hear my wailing and screaming.

However, unexpected to him, I looked as calm as ever, terrifyingly composed.

Suddenly, my gaze lifted, sharp as lightning, mesmerizing.

Then, there was a lightning-fast lift of the foot.

Bang!

A dull thud.

That kick landed right on the chin.

Immediately, the burly man lost consciousness, his mind went blank, and all he could feel was himself flying, rising into mid-air. Then, he fell rapidly and crashed to the ground.

At that moment, everyone was dumbfounded.

All the surrounding burly men widened their eyes, watching that robust body fly through the air, thrown a yard or two, before falling.

Hiss!

The sound of gasping for breath.

Each burly man looked as if they had seen a ghost.

"Damn it, this is freaky!"

"Kicking someone into the air with a single kick, is this kid even human?"

Scarface Hernandez's eyes were about to pop out of his skull.

"How is this possible, how is this possible..." He mumbled, his expression getting more twisted by the minute.

On the other side, Jessica Jones was also stunned, her beautiful eyes widened, covering her mouth in shock.

However, I remained calm, withdrawing my foot, lightly brushing off my pant leg. Glancing around, I said coldly, "What, are you all stunned? What are you standing there for?"

The burly men finally snapped back to reality, instantly enraged.

"Brothers, this kid has some skills, must be a trained fighter, grab your weapons! Kill him!"

Someone shouted.

Then, several people opened the car trunk, taking out sticks and machetes, distributing them.

"As they say, no matter how good your skills are, a brick will lay you down! Little prick, let's see how cocky you are now!"

The men sneered, swinging their sticks and machetes, charging forward.

"Heh! That's because their skills aren't proficient yet!"

I chuckled, tugged at my tie, and strode forward.

Facing an attacking man, I swiftly dodged aside, then delivered a punch straight to the man's abdomen.

The man screamed in agony, his body curling like a shrimp, his face turning deathly pale, foaming at the mouth.

Snatching the stick from his hand, I flung him away and then hurled the stick towards the others.

Bang!

One more person fell on impact.

In the blink of an eye, two were down.

I strolled forward, my body moving effortlessly to dodge. I was like a tiger in a pack of wolves, with no one a match for me. My movements were swift, precise, with an indescribable elegance.

——After brawling with those thugs last time, I specifically studied martial arts, and as my cultivation increased, I naturally became more powerful.

Amidst the screaming, more people flew out, fell down, sticks and machetes scattered all over the ground.

My God!

This kid, who exactly is he? How can he be so formidable, a complete monster!

He trembled more violently, his heart filled with fear.

For him, everything before his eyes was like a nightmare.

And Jessica Jones's beautiful eyes grew wider, just staring blankly at the figure standing among the crowd. This figure was not particularly tall, but in her eyes, it was as towering as a mountain.

Bang!

The last person fell.

I lightly shook my wrist and walked toward Scarface Hernandez.

"Y-you don't come over here! You hear me, don't come over!" Scarface Hernandez said, terrified, backing away.

I smirked, striding forward, and sent a punch his way.

"Weren't you so arrogant? Weren't you going to cripple me? Now look, just who is getting crippled here!" I showed no mercy, throwing punches one after the other.

Scarface Hernandez cried for his parents, curling up on the ground.

After beating him up, I finally stopped, squatted down, and said menacingly, "Remember, don't mess with me, and don't bother Jessica again, or else, you're gambling with your life."

Having said that, I stood up and walked over to Jessica.

Jessica Jones stood there, still in a daze.

When I reached her, she snapped back to reality, widened her beautiful eyes, and stared intensely at me, "Thompson, tell me, who are you really, how can you be so good at fighting?"

Her gaze was like she was looking at an alien.

I chuckled, brushing it off, "Oh, just practiced a little since I was young, not that impressive, but it's more than enough to deal with thugs."

"Thompson, I feel like I barely know you anymore, you're so good at medicine, and now martial arts? What else can you do? You better tell me now so I can be prepared."

Jessica Jones chuckled gently.

"That's all, really, that's all!" I quickly waved my hands.

Jessica couldn't help but smile, her lips curving into a smile.

She looked at me, her beautiful eyes sparkling with a stunning light.

"Alright, alright, put your clothes back on." She said, handing over the coat in her hands.

I took it and put it on.

Jessica stepped forward, attentively straightening my clothes.

Seeing this scene, not far away, Scarface Hernandez was burning with jealousy.

"Damn it, you shameless dogs, just wait and see!" He gritted his teeth, his expression furious, his eyes flashing with a hint of resentment.

"Jessica, let me accompany you back, and after we get to Azure Vista Pavilion, I'll take a taxi back home."

I glanced back, a bit worried.

"Alright! Let's go!"

Jessica opened the car door and got in.

I accompanied her to Azure Vista Pavilion, watched her enter her house, and then I left, took a taxi, and returned to Thompson Village.

Back home, I sat down, took a dose of Nourishing Spirit Liquid, and began my cultivation.
