Aria led him to ancient ruins hidden deep within the forest. Strange symbols glowed faintly on the walls—symbols from another world.
Ren Kai recognized them immediately.
These weren't runes.
These were dimensional anchor seals, meant to keep something imprisoned.
Aria whispered, "They say a god sleeps here."
Ren Kai placed his hand on the seal.
It began to shake.
Not a god… a fragment of something lower. Weak.
Aria stepped back, shocked.
"What are you doing?!"
Ren Kai smiled gently.
"Reinforcing it."
With a wave of his hand, the seal strengthened, glowing brighter than ever.
