So after reading DC absolute green lantern, I really liked it and wanted to do an absolute Ben 10 story, but man was it hard, but after many story mapping and rewrite, I've finally come up with a suitable episode 1 plotline.
So here we go .
Absolute Ben 10.
Episode 1: Hero Of No One - Part 1.
Twenty-seven-year-old Ben Tennyson awakens naked and covered in ash within a burning forest. Suffering from disorientation and severe headaches, he experiences fragmented memories of a fiery entity exploding. Unaware of a black-and-white device attached to his wrist, Ben wanders aimlessly until a search drone flies overhead. He instinctively dives for cover before the pain from his headache causes him to lose consciousness again.
Several months prior in the small town of Oakhaven, Iowa, Ben attempts to withdraw money from an ATM but is declined due to insufficient funds. Returning to his RV, the Rust Bucket, he calls his stepsister, Judy Mallory, to ask for a loan. Judy refuses, criticizing his transient lifestyle and urging him to settle down. While driving to his day labor job, Ben listens to a radio broadcast detailing the unsolved disappearances of nine people in a neighboring town.
Arriving at his workplace, the Copper Skillet diner, Ben is greeted by his coworker, Rose, who expresses romantic interest and asks to speak with him after their shift. Ben reflects that he has been working at the diner for three months, an unusually long stay given his habit of relocating every few weeks. During the busy evening shift, a group of unruly patrons begins harassing Rose. Ben intervenes, physically subduing one of the men by grabbing his wrist. The man attempts to shove Ben but is tripped and falls. To provoke a fight, another patron pours a drink on Ben's back, but Rose pulls Ben away to the employee restroom to clean up. While changing his shirt, Ben drops a set of military dog tags; he evades Rose's questions regarding his past.
At the end of the shift, Ben collects his $200 pay. Rose stops him in the parking lot and invites him to a weekend carnival, to which he agrees. However, immediately after she leaves, Ben enters the Rust Bucket and drives out of town. He rationalizes his abrupt departure as his standard protocol whenever people attempt to get close to him or ask questions.
Returning to the present, Ben regains consciousness and successfully evades the searching drone. He exits the forest and attempts to flag down passing vehicles on a nearby road, but none stop. Proceeding on foot, he eventually encounters a welcome sign for Bellwood. The sight leaves Ben profoundly shocked, and he mutters to himself that Bellwood should not be there because everyone is dead.
