Loras charged at Lü Bu, only to be sent flying a moment later, landing on the grass nearby.
By the time he regained consciousness, it was already evening, and the military camp was eating roast meat.
"Loras, if you don't wake up soon, I'm going to eat your share of the meat!" Lü Bu said.
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" Loras hurried over, trotting all the way.
He took the roasted lamb leg that Lü Bu handed him and took a huge bite.
"General Lü Bu, when will I be able to defeat you?" Loras asked.
"In another twenty years!" Lü Bu replied. In twenty years, he would be old, and Loras would be in his prime. Loras was only sixteen now; he was too young.
"Why are you so strong? I've never heard of you before. Which house are you from?" Loras continued to ask.
"The Grund family," Lü Bu said.
"The Grund family, does that mean green?" Loras asked.
"No, it means two mouths: the character 'Lü'."
The conversation between the two was a bit nonsensical. However, after being defeated by Lü Bu ninety-nine times, Loras suddenly began to admire this big man.
He suddenly felt in his heart that Lü Bu looked very handsome, even more so than Renly. Loras certainly had an eye for beauty.
Lü Bu was known as "Lü Bu among men," so he naturally had a striking appearance.
By other campfires in the distance, Mufasa, Zhang Liao, and Gao Shun were drinking together.
"Gao Shun, how is the training of the Camp Breaker Battalion coming along?" Mufasa asked.
"Training while marching is not very effective. If you could let me stop and train at a castle, I think I could complete the preliminary training in half a year," Gao Shun said.
"Good. Once we reach Winterfell, you won't have to leave. Just train the one thousand soldiers of the Camp Breaker Battalion there!" Mufasa said.
Then he looked at Zhang Liao.
"I plan to have Lü Bu command all of the Flying Bear Army. Zhang Liao, I want you to train a unit of light cavalry for me—the kind that moves like the wind. I've already thought of a name: the Tiger and Leopard Cavalry."
"Do you have a training method, and enough soldiers and horses?" Zhang Liao asked.
"I will find a way! You will also stay at Winterfell when the time comes. I cannot commit all my forces to battle; I must at least keep some cards up my sleeve."
Just like that, Mufasa took the three thousand soldiers of the Flying Bear Army he had originally obtained from the lottery and allocated one thousand to Gao Shun to train the Camp Breaker Battalion, and another thousand to Zhang Liao to form the Tiger and Leopard Cavalry.
However, they were not new recruits, so they only needed training in different combat methods.
By then, the Flying Bear Army would be heavy cavalry, the Tiger and Leopard Cavalry would be light cavalry, the Camp Breaker Battalion would be a multi-functional, all-purpose unit, and the Unsullied would be the strongest infantry.
Mufasa already possessed the strongest and most comprehensive land force.
After arriving at Winterfell, Robb Stark showed an unwelcoming attitude toward Mufasa; after all, his father was under house arrest in King's Landing.
He had once thought about calling on the lords to go to King's Landing to demand his father's release, but basically, few lords were willing to heed his command.
Mufasa looked at the cold food on the plate; this was what the maid had just served.
Mufasa didn't eat a single bite; he looked at Robb Stark.
"Robb, now is not the time to be difficult. If you have any grievances, just say them out loud, and I will try my best to meet your demands," Mufasa said.
"I demand the immediate release of my father; otherwise, the Seven Kingdoms allied forces will disband. The North will not respond to the call of the iron throne. We can fight the wildlings and White Walkers on our own."
Robb Stark said coldly.
"When your father entered The White Sword Tower, he didn't show any dissatisfaction. On the contrary, that is the safest place for him," Mufasa said.
"Robb, bring us some hot food. In such cold weather, you're going to let guests who have come from afar eat this? Is this the upbringing of House Stark?" Brynden Tully said.
"You old man, this is not your place to speak," Theon interjected from the side, as he did not yet know the Blackfish's identity.
The Blackfish stood up immediately and looked at Theon with a cold sneer.
"Back when Jaime Lannister was at Riverrun, he even chased after me to tell him knight stories. How is it that a boy like you dares to look down on an old man like me?" the Blackfish said.
"Who are you, old man? Don't think that just because you have white hair, you can earn my respect. If you're so capable, let's compete," Theon snorted.
"I am Brynden Tully, nicknamed the Blackfish, brother of Lord Hoster, former Knight of The Bloody Gate in the Vale, and now one of the Knights of the Round Table."
"By the way, Theon, your uncle Victarion is also one of the Knights of the Round Table," he added.
"I wonder if you still remember him."
Both Theon and Robb Stark's faces turned bright red with shame.
"Great-uncle, I'm sorry. I'll bring you new food right away," Robb Stark said. He had also heard Catelyn Tully mention this uncle of hers.
Compared to Lord Hoster, the Blackfish Brynden Tully was even more intimidating.
"No need! Theon, you brat, let's compete. I heard you're good at archery, so let's compete in archery!"
On the training grounds of Winterfell, both the Blackfish and Theon held bows and arrows and began shooting at the targets.
The two were evenly matched in archery, but because Theon felt a bit timid in his heart, he lost the competition.
"Are you competing in archery here? Why don't you let me join in too! Hahaha!" Lü Bu strode over.
In his hand, he held a two-stone strong bow.
Lü Bu swept his disdainful gaze over the group.
"Come, place my halberd one hundred and fifty paces away from me."
The crowd saw a soldier carrying the halberd, standing one hundred and fifty paces away from Lü Bu, facing the halberd toward them.
Everyone except Mufasa had no idea what he was going to do.
"What are you doing?" Theon asked. Even in his opinion, at such a distance, it was certain that he couldn't hit it, or wouldn't hit it accurately.
"Watch closely! My divine archery."
Lü Bu focused his energy, slightly crouched his hips, and aligned his aim. With a "whoosh," an arrow flew past and struck the crescent moon blade of the halberd, and everyone heard a "clang."
Then, Lü Bu did not stop; he picked up another arrow. This time he did not hit the crescent blade but shot it right through the opening of the halberd.
His archery skills immediately conquered Theon, who looked at him with eyes full of admiration and called him "Master" directly.
He begged Lü Bu to teach him archery.
Lü Bu curled his lips, "You are not even as sensible as Loras! You are older than him, but your mentality is not as good as a sixteen-year-old child."
Lü Bu's words broke Theon's defenses, and he left in shame.
