Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Crazy Leveling Up! Already Max Level? Just Slack Off and Get Stronger!

George opened the Goblin King's panel again.

[Goblin King BOSS

Rank: C

Level: 12

HP: 4700

Stats: Strength 230, Stamina 240, Intellect 198, Dexterity 250

Skills: Goblin Summon, Furious Charge, Killing Aura, Berserk Goblin]

All of his stats had gone up!

His level had increased by 2.

A new skill called "Berserk Goblin" had been unlocked.

And George had gotten 40 points in total, with 10 points added to each of the four stats.

"This... is it right?"

George paused for a second, his black eyes shining with excitement.

This SSS-tier talent was just too crazy.

He was already getting stronger.

It was like a cheat code for slacking off!

Could he actually get stronger just by doing nothing?

He only bound a creature and his power had jumped ten times?

At the same time, George felt a small connection forming between him and the Goblin King.

He narrowed his eyes and looked at the Goblin King.

"Uh... uh... uh!"

The Goblin King made a strange sound.

George: "...".

He frowned.

Then, his vision seemed to get clearer.

He could understand what the goblin was saying now.

He was relying entirely on his own inner understanding.

To outsiders, it still sounded like the same strange noise.

Goblin King: "Master, I got stronger! I got stronger! I..."

George: "Stop."

Goblin King: "Master, I can go kill that annoying elf!"

George's eyes lit up.

"Annoying what?"

Elf?

In George's mind, elves were all beautiful, elegant, and perfect-looking girls... at least that's how they looked on textbook covers.

He wasn't exactly sure about the real deal.

But the Goblin King's words reminded George of something.

He had already bound the Goblin King. Why was he still fighting other monsters?

High-level bosses were too strong, but low-level monsters were easy to kill.

Experience points were just waiting to be picked up.

And as long as George kept leveling up, the College Entrance Exam might not be such a big deal after all.

Even if you were an SSR, and I was just an R,

but my level was ten times higher than yours.

"Are there any other monsters around?" George asked calmly, looking at the Goblin King with a critical eye.

"Yes!"

The Goblin King waved his huge hammer excitedly. "I just unlocked a new skill. I feel like I could even fight those skeletons from the Infernal Lord!"

"Wait, what?" George was stunned.

"What did you just say?"

"The Infernal Lord's soldiers! Skeletons!" The Goblin King nodded and repeated it again.

George was shocked.

"What level?"

Goblin King: "The Infernal Lord? 32th level!"

Was this guy crazy?

George widened his eyes, took a deep breath, and suddenly went silent.

A 32-level Infernal Lord?

That was a demon, and a high-level one at that. How could he fight that?

"Is this even considered the College Entrance Exam?" George frowned, feeling a bit lost.

This year's national College Entrance Exam had already given out some information, saying it was going to be really tough.

But George never expected it to be this hard.

Demon! A demon of the 32nd level? Who was this supposed to fight? Even the smartest students in the competition class wouldn't be able to beat a 32-level demon, right?

"What level is the final boss, the dragon from the Underworld?" George swallowed hard and asked directly.

"Underworld..." The Goblin King shivered and shook his head violently.

"I don't know!" he said quickly.

"It's a terrifying place. Legends say that even the Infernal Lord would die if he went there! I'm too scared to go. I don't know how strong that dragon is, but it's probably at least 45th level."

The Goblin King said it truthfully.

George was stunned.

This world's highest level was 100.

The College Entrance Exam... You throw in a 32nd-level demon boss, and now even a 45th-level dragon boss shows up?

Is this the College Entrance Exam, or are they trying to throw people into a fire pit?

Who the hell designed this test?

George sighed.

"How many goblins do you have now?"

The Goblin King said, "The elves have been targeting us. Now there are less than 300 goblins left, and most of them are old, weak, or sick."

George's lips curled. "Okay, let me check your value first, or else..."

He made a cutting motion across his throat.

The Goblin King was scared out of his mind and nodded quickly.

The next second, the Goblin King looked to the side.

There was a hairy rabbit, about the size of a tiger in the zoo.

[Hairy Rabbit, Level 6, E-Rank]

E-Rank. A little higher than R, but still one of the weakest ranks.

And this rabbit was only level 6.

But it looked really scary. At least it was bigger and more fierce than a regular tiger.

The Goblin King showed his teeth and smashed it with his big hammer.

The terrified rabbit fell over in an instant.

[Killed Hairy Rabbit - Experience +5]

[Dropped 6 pieces of fur, 2 fangs]

The prompt updated, and George was shocked.

"So it's true. All the experience and drops from killing my familiar are mine."

After all, this was his familiar. Everything the Goblin King had was also his.

[Your level increased to 2]

[You gained 1 point of free stat]

[Your HP increased a little]

[You gained an extra stat boost: Dexterity +1]

5 experience points had made George level up.

That's the R-rank for you - it only takes a little experience to level up.

He put the free stat point into Stamina.

George's Stamina got stronger.

"Let's go."

After tasting a little of the benefit, George felt a little more confident. He looked at the Goblin King.

The higher his level, the stronger the familiar he could bind.

And this way of leveling up was just too easy.

No need to do anything. Just slack off and get stronger.

"If I could bind the Infernal Lord or even the final boss dragon from the Underworld..."

George felt excited.

[Killed Hairy Rabbit - Experience +10]

[Killed Mutated Boar - Experience +20]

[Killed Poisoned Snake - Experience +23]

[Killed Stone Bear - Experience +100]

[Dropped 3 pieces of wild boar fur, 4 poison fangs, 28 pieces of fur material, 2 glowing rocks, 2 giant bear paws...]

[Giant Bear Paw: C-Rank. Bear paw bones can be used to make weapons]

[Glowing Rock: D-Rank. Can be used to make potions]

The prompt kept scrolling wildly, making George feel a bit dizzy.

The Goblin King, with his whole tribe, was going wild in the forest. He was crushing everything in his path, and George picked up a ton of materials. The materials had already filled up his own storage space.

His experience points filled up the experience pool.

And finally, as a huge stone bear fell down, the whole forest gave out a deep, thunderous sound!

This bear, whose skin had turned into stone, was a real 10th-level monster. And the Goblin King had killed it!

The Goblin King in his berserk state was truly amazing. He was like a meat grinder.

[Goblin King was lost in the killing, his combat skills became more skilled, Strength increased slightly]

[You received Strength feedback: Stamina +1, Intellect +2, Dexterity +1]

???

George's eyes twitched.

Another prompt came up.

"Combat skills getting better... is that considered getting stronger? Can it just keep giving me back this stuff anytime?" George swallowed hard. He was getting a little excited.

Just like when he played online games before.

But what he was doing now was more like a private server, or even cheating.

He was getting stronger just by doing nothing.

One hit did 999 damage, and the drop rate was maxed out.

Looking at the refreshed stat panel, George couldn't help but smile.

He clicked on the experience.

[You leveled up]

[Current level: 3]

[You leveled up]

[Current level: 4]

[You leveled up]

[Current level: 5]

[You leveled up]

[Current level: 10]

He kept leveling up until he reached level 10.

His experience was almost all gone.

The higher the level, the harder it got.

After reaching level 10, he needed to do a class change.

Sure enough, the prompt refreshed again.

[You need to go to the Class Change Association to complete the Class Change Trial]

Class changers need to complete a class change when they reach level 10.

The Class Change Association was an official organization.

"Already doing a Second Class Change so smoothly?" George's face lit up. "Like riding a rocket!"

Normally, leveling up so fast was almost impossible.

Unless you had a really good background and a high-level player helping you.

But George had his reasons for getting so far so fast.

First, the Goblin King was super strong. In this area, he was basically the only boss.

Second, the College Entrance Exam Dungeon had a ton of resources.

There were monsters everywhere, and no bosses were guarding them. They just came out in the open. The goblins could smash them into meat paste with one hit.

[Current level is 10, can bind targets below 20 level]
