Mufasa and the others who survived the avalanche returned to Castle Black, stayed for two more days, and then embarked on the journey back to Black Castle.
Along the way, Mufasa studied the giant horn. He figured that a bull with such enormous horns must have been the size of a mammoth, or even larger.
As for the giant's rib, Mufasa fashioned it into a playable flute.
Mufasa named it: Giant's Flute.
When the Giant's Flute was played in front of everyone for the first time, Tyrion and the others realized it was an instrument they had never heard before.
"It sounds like a melodica!" said Tyrion.

"However, this flute is made from the rib of the Progenitor Giant. I wonder, Mufasa, if playing it toward a living giant would have any special effect?" he continued.
"Uncle, this is just a normal flute, not a magical item, is it?" Mufasa rolled his eyes.
"Don't you know Alchemy? Can't you refine this bone flute into a magical item unique to you?" said Tyrion.
His words struck Mufasa. That's right, why couldn't he actively create some magical items?
Thus, Mufasa began studying how to turn the Giant's Flute into a magical item on the road, with Melisandre offering suggestions nearby.
"It is said that ancient wizards all had their own wands or staves. Their cloaks, magic balls, brooms, swords, goblets, crowns, and books were all magical items."
Melisandre said to Mufasa.
"Then why aren't there any now? Is it because the Maelstrom receded?" Mufasa asked.
"The Maelstrom is like the tide of the sea; sometimes it rises, sometimes it recedes. And the interval between them is very long," she said.
"We have encountered a good opportunity now. The Maelstrom is about to arrive; it is coming to the coastline."
"I can feel the surging magical power in the far ocean, rushing toward the land with the speed of a tsunami and an avalanche," Melisandre said, closing her eyes tightly.
She seemed quite agitated, apparently very excited!
"Is the Maelstrom brought by the gods? Which god? The lord of light?" Mufasa asked again.
Melisandre shook her head.
"I don't know either, but according to previous priests, the ebb and flow of the Maelstrom are controlled by the consciousness of the world itself, not managed by the gods. However, it is certain that after the Maelstrom revives, the divine might of the gods will be greater."
After returning to Black Castle, Mufasa once again met Lord Commander Jeor Mormont and the others, and he showed them the huge horn.
Lord Commander Mormont also shook his head.
"There are almost no people left in the North who understand the language and script of the First Men, but I remember that the Vale also retains a large number of descendants of the First Men. Perhaps you can go there to look," he suggested.
"The Vale, you mean?" Mufasa said.
"That's right. Waymar Royce is dead, and we need to give an explanation to his father, Bronze Yohn Royce. He is the most powerful lord in the Vale besides House Arryn," the Lord Commander said.
"I will go. But before leaving Black Castle, please allow us to follow the Rangers on a trip Beyond the Wall," Mufasa said.
"Alright, I will have Benjen lead the best Rangers to accompany you."
When Mufasa passed the training grounds, he saw that there were no new recruits; it seemed they had completed their training from rookies to veterans.
Mufasa stopped a young Night's Watch member and asked.
"Do you know where Samwell is? The guy who is very tall, very fat, but a bit timid."
That person seemed a little afraid of Mufasa, though he was probably afraid of Heraka behind Mufasa.
"He became Maester Aemon's assistant!"
"I see. Thank you!"
Mufasa returned to his room; Melisandre had gone off somewhere.
Mufasa checked his Popularity Value. The Night's Watch had provided him with nearly a thousand Popularity Points in total, plus some previous change.
Now Mufasa had reached the "1000" Popularity Value level again.
"It's time for the lottery draw again!"
Mufasa closed the door, not wanting to be disturbed. Then he closed his eyes and lay on the bed.
A giant turntable appeared in his mind. "Lottery draw begins, ten consecutive draws!"
Once all the draws were complete, Mufasa began inspecting his gains.
First Prize: One Cloth Doll (Snow White Edition)
Second Prize: One Beast Evolution Scroll. It can evolve a beast into a Strange Beast.
Third Prize: Skill "Lion's Roar Skill." Both humans and animals can learn it.
Fourth Prize: One Cold Jade Bed. Cultivating while sitting on it provides double speed.
Fifth Prize: One Beast Evolution Scroll.
Sixth Prize: One Luoyang Shovel.
Seventh Prize: One Pickaxe.
Eighth Prize: One Goat Head Hammer.
Ninth Prize: One Eight Immortals Table.
Tenth Prize: One Black Wood Coffin. It can seal evil creatures.
Mufasa felt that his luck this time was truly fluctuating like a roller coaster.
Items like the cloth doll, Eight Immortals Table, Goat Head Hammer, and Luoyang Shovel were all useless.
"The only useful items are the Black Wood Coffin, the Cold Jade Bed, the Lion's Roar Skill, and the two Beast Evolution Scrolls."
Mufasa thought that when he went Beyond the Wall, it would be best to catch a White Walker or a Wight and bring it back alive for the people in King's Landing to see; the Black Wood Coffin would be perfect for that.
As for the Cold Jade Bed, although Mufasa doesn't cultivate internal energy, he cultivates Magical Power, so it can still provide double speed.
The "Lion's Roar Skill" can make Heraka roar louder. It can also teach Mufasa a skill that can intimidate people.
"As for the two Beast Evolution Scrolls, using them on Red Hare and Black Steed would be best," Mufasa thought.
Even though Red Hare and Black Steed are swift steeds, they are still ordinary beasts and haven't reached the level of a Strange Beast.
If they could evolve once more, they would become Strange Beasts.
Mufasa opened the door, left the room, and headed toward the stables.
The Night's Watch stableman saw Mufasa arrive and immediately greeted him.
"Ser Mufasa, your horses have eaten and drunk well; they are excellent!"
"Thank you for your care. I'm taking them out for a ride."
Mufasa rode Red Hare, with Black Steed following beside him. The man and two horses arrived in a patch of woods.
Mufasa stroked their manes.
"You are in luck this time! Hahaha! Evolve!"
Mufasa used the two Evolution Scrolls on them.
Soon, two beams of white light enveloped the two horses. They couldn't help but neigh.
When the white light disappeared, the appearance of the two horses had changed.
When the Scarlet Ember Fire Dragon Colt's tail and the hair around its neck shook, sparks appeared.
The Treading Snow Black Steed's four hooves turned white, and cold air emerged when it stepped.
"It seems you should have new names. From now on, Red Hare, you shall be called: Scarlet Ember Fire Dragon Colt!"
"As for Black Steed: you shall be called Treading Snow Black Steed!"
Mufasa took them for a few laps and learned their abilities.
When the Scarlet Ember Fire Dragon Colt ran, the hair on its body would ignite. However, it couldn't breathe fire.
The Treading Snow Black Steed's steps would cause the grass to frost over, but it was not yet capable of freezing a river solid just by stepping into it.
