š Chapter ā The Giant Child
Far from the continent of Miraā¦
Odin pointed toward the child, smiling slightly:
"We have raised the child with the finest upbringing⦠he is well-mannered and a skilled fighter."
Before Odin could finish his sentenceā
A voice was heard from the direction he pointed:
"Hahaha⦠you won't escape me, prey! I am Odin's son⦠Sutur!"
As soon as the voice spokeā
Another sound followed: a creature dying⦠and a child laughing arrogantly.
The moment they heard it, Odin's smile faded, and he said:
"Oh⦠it seems I forgot somethingā¦"
Then he added coldly:
"Anyway, the child is there⦠go speak with him if you wish. When you're done, you'll have my answer."
As soon as the giant elder heard his wordsā
Before she could reactā
Odin vanished, heading off to find Hades and Poseidon, who had clearly ruined the child's behavior with their terrible upbringing.
The elder looked at where Odin had disappeared, puzzledā¦
Then shook her head and walked in the direction he had pointed.
When she arrivedā¦
She saw something shocking.
The child she had come to seeā¦
Was dancing over the corpse of some creature, smiling, moving his body of molten lava, destroying everything around him!
The elder's expression hardened with anger.
She had thought the voice she heard wasn't the child'sā¦
Or at least, if it was, she hadn't expected such terrible behavior.
She quickly moved toward himā
Before the child could react, a massive shadow covered him.
He turnedā
And froze in shock.
A towering "mountain" of trees and forest stood behind him!
Before he could process itā
A powerful strike hit his head, knocking him to the ground as he cried out:
"Father! Father! I'm hurt! Father!"
Butā
Before the elder could reactā
She saw the child's tears of lava vanish instantlyā¦
His face twisted into something ugly, cruel, and furious.
"Get out of my sight, you wretch!"
At onceā
Terrifying molten lava gathered around his right armā
And he struck the "mountain" before him with a cold smile.
The elder blocked his attack calmly, thinking:
"At least⦠he isn't useless."
But before she could continueā
She felt something strange beneath her.
Looking downā
The ground had turned into dangerous molten lava!
She laughedā
But before she could praise his quick thinkingā
The child stomped the ground, splitting it open and trapping one of her legs inside the lava!
The elder laughed again, amusedā
Then grabbed the child and hugged him.
Instantlyā
The lava around her leg disappeared, replaced by dense, terrifying trees growing at incredible speed.
Still laughing, she said:
"Odin raised you well⦠you little monster."
The child burned with anger at her insult and shouted, struggling in her grip:
"How dare you insult my father, you fool!"
She looked at him and replied:
"It seems Odin trained you to fight⦠but forgot to give you intelligence."
The child glared into her strange eyes:
"Stop insulting my father!"
She laughed again, then set him down:
"No need for all that anger⦠your so-called father is the one who led me to you."
The child hesitated, confused:
"Why would he do that? Why would he want me to fight you? And why are you alone?"
The elder smiled slightly:
"We heard you earlier⦠when you saidā"
She mimicked his voice:
"Hahaha⦠you won't escape me, prey! I am Odin's son⦠Sutur!"
The child's expression changed instantly:
"And then? What did my father do?"
She replied:
"He left immediately after hearing you⦠and I followed the path to you."
The child frozeā
Then started crying:
"No⦠no! He's going to punish me! What should I do?!"
The elder looked at him carefully.
She had the feeling he actually wanted punishmentā¦
But she said:
"What if I make sure Odin doesn't punish you? Will you call me grandmother then?"
Before she could continueā
The child rushed toward her, smiling brightly:
"Oh! Grandma! You're here! Why didn't you say so earlier? Come, come! I'll show you my collection of burned animals⦠but don't tell anyone!"
The elder stared at him, stunned by how quickly he changed.
"Who taught a child this level of hypocrisy"
But she didn't expose him.
Instead, she walked with him, listening patiently as he explained his "art collection."
But to herā
There was nothing artistic about it.
Only the remains of poor creatures he had burned and kept.
She looked at him and finally asked:
"Who taught you these things Was it Odin⦠or someone else?"
