The mermaid princess was screaming with unbridled anger, raising her voice to the top of her lungs, trying to make Eir or anyone hear her.
But moments later...
She realized that no one was going to listen to her.
No one was coming.
And no one seemed to care about her screams inside that cell.
So, she quietly stopped screaming, then took a deep breath as she tried to calm herself down.
She looked at the piece of meat still in her hand, frowned in annoyance, and said:
"Couldn't you bring better food than this?"
She stared at it for a few moments as if insulted by the food they had served her, then the mermaid princess sat down on the floor in annoyance.
And after a brief hesitation...
She took the piece of meat and began to eat it.
But her mind did not stop thinking.
She knew now that she could not easily escape from this place.
For she did not know the strength of those surrounding her, nor did she even know the strength of the barriers protecting this place.
Furthermore, she didn't know much about this place called Asgard in the first place.
And she didn't even remember how she got here.
All she remembered from the last thing that happened to her...
Was that she lost consciousness on Treasure Island, after landing on it.
Then...
She woke up in this cell.
The mermaid princess placed her hand on her head and tried to recover her memories.
"How did I even get here in the first place?"
She found no answer.
There was a massive gap in her memory between the moment she lost consciousness, and the moment she opened her eyes inside the Asgard cell.
Then she thought of something else.
"And who could defeat me so easily without me noticing, and bring me here in the first place?"
She stopped eating for a moment.
This point was the most unsettling to her.
For the person who managed to defeat her and bring her here so easily without her even feeling a thing...
Was definitely no ordinary person.
She said to herself seriously:
"I definitely must not antagonize this person at all."
She knew she had to be more careful.
For she did not know this person's strength, nor their gender, nor even the real reason behind her capture.
But there was another matter, and perhaps it was the second and most important reason that made her stop thinking about escaping right now.
The Ocean Crystal...
It was with her before all this.
But it had disappeared.
When she woke up in the cell, she didn't find it with her.
She searched for it, but she couldn't find it.
And this most likely meant one thing...
That the crystal was now with those who had captured her.
The mermaid princess frowned deeply.
If the Ocean Crystal was indeed with them, then trying to escape now could be a huge risk.
For she did not know the crystal's location, nor did she know the extent of Asgard's power, nor did she know what could happen if she tried to escape and failed.
So...
She quietly decided to stay here for the time being.
It wasn't because she had given up.
Rather, because she wanted to think of a better plan.
A plan that would allow her to escape without risking everything so easily.
She continued eating while thinking of all the possibilities.
"I will stay here for a while..."
Then she added to herself:
"Until I find a better way to escape and figure out the location of the crystal."
And outside...
Outside the cell, everything had begun to calm down.
Eir had finished speaking with the guards.
She stood before them and instructed them on how to deal with the prisoner, and what the appropriate punishment would be if she tried to escape.
She had to make sure that the guards knew exactly what they had to do, and that they would not allow the prisoner to exploit any opportunity to flee.
And after she finished with that...
Eir turned around and walked with calm steps.
She left the city, then walked through the forest.
Trees surrounded her from all sides, while she continued on her way without hesitation.
And after walking for a while...
She reached a strange mountain.
This was the mountain where the Three Seers lived.
Eir stopped in front of it for a moment, then entered quietly.
And when she reached the inside...
She looked at the Three Seers sitting on the ground, their eyes closed.
Silence prevailed for a few moments.
Then Eir spoke directly to them.
She said:
"I have met the prisoner just as you told me."
