Isabella's POV
"Austin..." I start, my voice barely above a whisper.
"I need to have a conversation with Alan. I'm aware you've been collaborating with him. Is he the one they call Alpha Heather?" His question cuts through the air with sharp precision.
I shake my head quickly. "No, that's Summers."
"Then why were you speaking with him on the phone?"
"He was preparing me for this meeting. Since he used my computer, he wanted to ensure there would be a digital trail to track. He assured me he removed anything that could be considered illegal, so I wouldn't need to worry about it," I explain, hoping my voice sounds steadier than I feel.
Austin's gaze shifts toward Summers, who stands engaged in conversation with Aaron. The tension radiating from my brother is palpable.
"No more hidden agendas, Isabella. You're still a minor. While I'm impressed by your early acceptance to the Academy, the Tech Team cannot cross any boundaries with you."
