Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Divine Realm of Huo Yuhao

Chapter 1: The Divine Realm of Huo Yuhao

The Divine Realm, Eternal Temple

As usual, Huo Yuhao activated the Eye of Eternity and gazed down upon the Douluo Continent. From the perspective of a god, the vast land below lay unveiled before him: the majestic city walls of Spirit Hall, the resplendent Heaven Dou Imperial Palace, the towering Battle Soul Hammer reaching the clouds, the solemn and dignified Clear Sky Sect, and the opulent Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect—every detail was laid bare before his eyes.

At that very moment, the Star Luo Empire was hosting the Continental Soul Master Tournament held every five years. The twin stars of the Clear Sky Sect, Tang Hao and Tang Xiao, had fought their way to the finals and were locked in a fierce battle against the Spirit Hall team. If no accident occurred, this would be the moment that made the Clear Sky Twin Stars famous across the continent.

"Only a few decades remain before Tang San's birth. But in the Divine Realm's time scale, that's only a few days," Huo Yuhao murmured softly, his gaze deep and distant. He couldn't help but wonder if the future Tang San had once stood as he did now, overlooking the world from above, taking everything into his divine sight.

Only after becoming a god did he truly realize how laughable his original thoughts upon arriving in the Douluo world had been. In this world, the authority of gods towered far above mortal beings. Tang Hao was merely a second-tier god, yet even he could seize control of the Douluo plane's will—let alone a true God King, whose thoughts connected through the entire realm, almost controlling every life and event in the world. Unless there were special situations like the Dragon Valley, divine trials, or artifacts, all beings in the Douluo Continent were laid bare before the gods. The only thing capable of restraining a god was the rules of the Divine Committee itself.

Thinking of this, a hint of mockery flashed through Huo Yuhao's mind. "Ridiculous," he thought, "that I once believed I could secretly manipulate things right under a God King's nose."

Recalling the past, Huo Yuhao couldn't help but feel relieved at his choices. In his previous life, his name had been Huo Qiqiang—a transmigrator. At the moment the original Huo Yuhao fled the Duke's mansion, he had seized and replaced his body. As a transmigrator, Huo Yuhao was acutely aware of his circumstances and would never allow anyone to step on him again.

Though he lacked a system, Huo Yuhao possessed his own opportunities and knowledge of the future, filling him with confidence. His first move had been to go to the Star Dou Great Forest to obtain his two powerful "plugins": the Skydream Iceworm and Electrolux. Then he refused to join Tang Sect and traveled to the Sun Moon Empire.

However, just as he was about to acquire his Sun Moon Empire residence permit, a large hand—broad as a fan—patted his shoulder. Looking up, he saw a man named Titan, accompanied by another named Niu Tian, as well as a young man with light blue hair who wished to meet him. The moment Huo Yuhao saw that blue hair, his heart sank. Everything was returning to its original path.

Thus, Huo Yuhao was forced to enroll in Shrek Academy, and under Niu Tian's persuasion, he joined Tang Sect. He experienced all the divine trials originally meant for the story's Huo Yuhao—if not worse. Each time he tried to resist Tang San's control, the God King immediately corrected his behavior, leaving him almost no room to rebel.

Against the full-level boss that was Tang San, Huo Yuhao's only real advantage was his identity as a transmigrator—a child of destiny. This identity gave him a form of divine protection. Tang San couldn't casually alter his memories or split his soul as he could with ordinary soul masters. Even when dealing with the original Huo Yuhao, Tang San had to use indirect means—such as involving his own daughter, guiding the protagonist's soul to the Divine Realm, or manipulating fate through divine trials.

(Note: If Tang San could have treated Huo Yuhao like any other soul master, he would not have needed to use such extreme methods involving his own daughter.)

The transmigrator's identity gave Huo Yuhao a critical "talisman"—his memories were unreadable by Tang San. That meant even if Tang San could control Huo Yuhao's every move, he would never know his deepest thoughts. Thus, Huo Yuhao's inner world remained his last sanctuary of freedom.

His relationship with Tang San resembled the conflict between the Trisolaran civilization and the Wallfacers in The Three-Body Problem: a subtle, tense battle of minds. After numerous failed attempts to break free from Tang San's control, Huo Yuhao finally accepted a brutal truth: in this world, unless he became a god himself, he would never defeat Tang San. And so, he made a painful but resolute decision—to feign submission while secretly preparing for betrayal.

This path was laden with thorns and danger. Every move Huo Yuhao made was under Tang San's surveillance. He had to constantly display an unwavering love for Dong'er. Even a trace of insincerity would trigger the God King's divine trials. Through these repeated trials, Huo Yuhao became a master actor, portraying his "stitched-together" love—crafted by the God King's hands—with obsessive devotion. That awkward yet intense relationship had become so convincing that even Tang San once admitted he almost shed tears.

While acting, Huo Yuhao never neglected his foundations. He rigorously honed his spiritual power and mental strength, knowing well that without a solid base, everything would collapse. Though forced to endure his destined path, he never gave up, for he understood that the real turning point lay not in the mortal world, but in the Divine Realm itself. Only by becoming a god could he truly turn the tables—and trample Tang San beneath his feet.

Finally, with the God King's approval, Huo Yuhao ascended to godhood, even inheriting the same divine position as in the original story—the God of Emotions. Carrying a hundred jins of body and ninety-nine of rebellion, Huo Yuhao soared toward the heavens.

The first thing he did after ascending was to go to the Sea God Temple and visit Tang San. With tears streaming down his face, he shouted, "Father-in-law, from now on, your son-in-law will follow you through fire and water, without hesitation!" That bow filled Tang San's heart with joy.

From then on, Huo Yuhao steadily gained Tang San's trust, earning his favor and entering the God King's inner circle. At the same time, he secretly deepened the conflicts between Tang San's and the God of Destruction's factions, exposed the undercover Zhou Weiqing, and established covert ties with the Golden Dragon King.

When war finally erupted between Tang San and the God of Destruction, Huo Yuhao's existence repeatedly tipped the balance against Tang San. Forced to contain the God of Destruction, Tang San loosened some restraints, allowing Huo Yuhao to comprehend cosmic laws at the Divine Core to enhance his divinity.

Through steady scheming and personal gain, Huo Yuhao eventually became a God King himself—Tang San's most trusted and indispensable ally.

Then came the Divine Realm crisis. The Gods of Life and Destruction sacrificed themselves to preserve the Divine Realm, entrusting two god seeds to Tang San.

But when the Golden Dragon King broke free, Tang San faced him alone after the devastating war. His pleas for help to Ji Dong and Lie Yan were intercepted by Huo Yuhao's immense spiritual power, diverting both God Kings elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Huo Yuhao activated his final plan on the Douluo Continent, wiping out A Yin and Tang Hao—who had seized the plane's will and life core—and liberating the continent.

As Tang San and the Golden Dragon King battled to mutual destruction, the arrival of Huo Yuhao filled Tang San's weary heart with hope.

Tears welled in Tang San's eyes. "Yuhao, you're finally here. Let's finish off this beast together!"

With a feral grin, after centuries of restraint—both in the mortal world and the Divine Realm—Huo Yuhao made his move.

His claw pierced Tang San's heart.

The God King stared in disbelief. "Why… why betray me?"

"Old thief Tang San," Huo Yuhao bellowed, "A man born under heaven cannot live forever beneath another!"

With that, he crushed Tang San's heart, seized the god seeds of Life and Destruction, and vanished into the chaotic currents of time and space.
