"He thought that I'd let it run away from me, pathetic fool."

The level-up pop-up panel appeared in front of his eyes, flickering with blue light.
"Already level 10, today's grind is going good." He muttered under his breath as he waved his hand in the air, making the pop-up fade away into thin air.
Then, both of his hands raised in the air as he stretched them fully, and a small yawn escaped through his mouth. "I have twenty unsolicited stat-points now, I'll save them for now."
He straightened his back as he took a small pause, then continued. "Who knows what I'll encounter in a while?"
The door to the next chamber opened, the mist in front started to clear slightly, and a small pathway was made, which led to the next chamber.
His back leaned in slightly as he started picking up the mana-cores of the fallen Shadow Imps. After collecting all of them, he put them inside his inventory as he stood back up.
He didn't waste any time as he started walking towards the door, his hands were tucked inside his pants, and his eyes were fixed on the front.
When he reached there, he pushed the door open. It opened with a loud CREAK!.
When he entered, his eyes scanned the chamber as he noticed that the walls weren't of normal stone. They were stacked bones, fused so tightly that empty skulls stared from every direction.
A thin layer of bone dust coated the floor, rising with each step like pale smoke. The air around him was dry and cold, and it was carrying a faint smell of metal.
The white torches flickered weakly, throwing stretched shadows across rib-shaped archways and piles of fresh bones scattered in the corners.
'Hmm, a lot of bones are scattered all over the place.' His eyes scanned the walls as his lips curled into a smile.
"Claw marks too, huh?" He muttered under his breath.
He took a small pause as he said. "This chamber is of Bone Hounds, eh?"
Steps stopped, and hands were still buried inside the pockets. The chamber was quiet as if there was no one in there except him.
When he went deeper into the chamber, he noticed that there were multiple dens that were made out of bones.
The dens looked like half-collapsed ribcages turned into small caverns. Bones were stacked into curved walls, forming a hollow space just big enough for a hound pack to crouch inside.
The hustling breath was escaping through the dens, then he noticed that the hounds were in those dens.
There was a small stone which was kept near him, he quickly made his way there and took cover.
After a while, the hounds started to crawl out of their dens one by one, their eyes were glowing in the low, dim lights of the chamber.
He gulped, peeking through the side, and his eyes were fixated on the group of eight hounds. 'I can't hide myself for long, they'll find me with their sense of smell.'
The hounds then started to act weird, as if they had smelled something strange. One of them kept coming closer while sniffing towards the stone where Leon was hiding.
When the hound reached too close, it noticed Leon, and both of them stared into each other's eyes.
"Hey there, piggy." A small smile curled up on Leon's face as he lifted his hand and waved towards the hound.
But a loud SCREECH escaped through the hound's mouth as it alarmed the whole pack.
All of them turned their heads towards Leon as he gulped, and a bead of sweat formed on his temple.

His eyes widened slightly, but then a smile curled up on his lips as his voice came low. "Warning? So, you're just telling me that they're stronger than the Shadow Imps and Skeletons, right? I'll manage it in my way." He muttered under his breath; his tone was full of confidence.
Leon raised his hand as he used [Shadow Pierce] and directed it towards the hound, which was beside him, the strike pierced the skull of the hound.
He then jumped backwards as his shoes slid onto the mossy floor of the chamber, and ran to his left.
The hounds didn't wait and followed behind him in unison. Some of them were fast and almost caught up to Leon.
He stopped as he muttered under his breath, eyes fixed on the ones who were in front. ["Shadow Bind."]
The shadows of the objects inside the chamber got extracted through their source as they entered inside of Leon's palm, then he directed his hand towards the pack.
Shadows escaped through the palm and caught the ones in front, around three hounds got affected by the skill.
"Perfect." He muttered under his breath as his face's expression turned blank.
Remaining hounds rushed forward as they circled him, slowly walking in circular motion, and their eyes were locked onto him, their tongues were slightly out of their mouths, and the saliva was dripping off through them.
His eyes moved as they scanned the inside of the chamber. He extended his hand towards the wall and used [Mana Blast].
The mana channeled in his palm as it shot through it and hit the wall. A loud blast occurred when the mana made contact with the wall.
Shards of the wall broke, dust erupted through it, and filled the air. Some of the shards fell onto the hounds.
