After leaving the hall the Xiao trio sprinted towards Xiao Long's courtyard as if their lives depended on it.Xiao Li who was the last to leave the hall and therefore the last in the food race plots ' there is no way in I will let grumpy Wei get there before me ' she thought determined she trips Xiao Wei who instead of falling increases his speed ,' she thinks I will fall for this trick again ' he mutters .
Xiao long is the first since he started sprinting directly after finishing his banter about being hungry.' poor brats they are still too young to think they can compete with me ' he smiled slyly as he thought of arriving first and taking all of rice eggs their favourite.
But fate seemed to have other plans for him as he takes a sharp corner he slammers into a carriage tumbling all over the place "Damnit" Xiao long cursed.
Xiao Wei who was following behind him slowed down only to be rammed over by Xiao Li they tumble down the pavement but instead of checking their injuries they stand up and resume their race leaving the servants bystanders shocked.
" I wonder what they are running after today" a servant muttered.
This was not the first time nor the second, the trio had done something like this.

Taking a turn across another hall they see the Courtyard gate to Xiao long courtyard the gate is slightly opened ,but not fully opened allowing only two slim people to pass together.
The trio can sure analyze the situation they are in .Nearing the gate Xiao long increases his speed thinking he is the smartest of the trio but alas Xiao Li too increases her speed by removing ankle weights shocking them as she leaves them to eat dust or so she thought ,Xiao Wei has been keeping an eye on Xiao Li and before she increased her speed she revealed a sly smile as she saw victory was already within her grasp not noticing Xiao Wei's hunters gaze.
" It's time" Xiao Wei mutters as he sets his foot infront of Xiao Li ,the second she increased her speed she tripped rolling and ramming into the gate her legs up ,head down and tongue out .
Another thing that happened simultaneously is that the Xiao Li increased in speed confused Xiao long making him ram into Xiao Wei whose focus was on tripping Xiao Li .They butt their heads together knocking them senseless making them miss the opening and ramming into the gate.
" Ooouch " they scream in pain .
A few moments later the trio are sitting together eating but you can see the bruises on their faces .Xiao long has a blacked eye, Xiao Li has a bump on her head while Xiao Wei has a broken nose.
" Old Wei you sure plan a elaborate murder plot " Xiao long muttered a he looked Xiao Wei with a new profound wariness.Xiao Wei shoves food down his mouth not careering whatever Xiao long was plotting.
Xiao Li stammers with food in her mouth as she glares at Xiao Wei " I told you this bastard is nothing good especially those crafty eyes of his" you could see the grievances in her eyes.
"Finish the food I don't have the whole day to wait for you pompous brats to finish arguing " Xiao Xing who just came out of the kitchen yells at them .
She has been controling herself not to laugh at them as their faces are so funny to look at.
