Chapter: Akuma Descends
Night ruled the world.
Stars hid behind drifting clouds as the Count's territory slept beneath layers of arrogance and false security. High walls, enchanted torches, patrol routes timed to the second—everything screamed confidence.
Everything screamed mistake.
A shadow crossed the outer wall without a sound.
Daniel landed softly, knees bending, mana sealed tight. A black mask covered his face, swallowing all traces of identity. His presence vanished—not hidden, but erased.
Daniel: "Sensei."
Sensei: "All hostile zones mapped. Count Sebastian Arclay is awake. Emotional state: agitated."

The first patrol never saw him.

once the flames gone —He lower the shield and starts rushing towards him with Creating a Ball of Pure Lightning with the Hybrid cast of Fire and Air
The mage stared in horror.
Mage Captain: "Hybrid caster Impossible—"

The man exploded into ash.

Sensei: "Count Sebastian Arclay has retreated to the grand hall."

Necromantic energy screamed.
The dead around them wailed.

Three figures stood at the shattered doorway.

Gideon.
Sebastian froze.
