Reagan's timing was absolutely horrible.
What a complete bastard.
The man just refused to give me a moment of peace, didn't he?
Obviously not. His goal was to destroy everything good in my life.
The only reason I hadn't kept his number blocked was because of his threats last time we spoke.
Damn it. I should have blocked him again before coming here to see Michael.
But I hadn't, because after our final conversation, Reagan had completely disappeared from my thoughts. And of all the terrible moments for him to call, it had to be right now.
Exactly when I was here with Michael. And that cursed phone just kept ringing endlessly.
Reagan was a selfish bastard who refused to accept that what we had was finished.
And now Michael was dangerously close to discovering everything.
His threatening words replayed in my mind, sending waves of terror through my entire body.
Handle Reagan? Did he mean have a conversation with him? Intimidate him?
Something far worse?
