"Hey, relax, will you ? You know that he's new here. He doesn't know what is going on." A voice said from behind.
Then a hand was placed on Kieran's shoulder, and he let go of the bars and moved away. The youth who looked to be about his age waved politely at the guard with a smile on his face as the two of them went away, the guard gave a nod and also went back to his position.
"Look, I know you're a tough guy and everything, but trust me, you don't want to try to escape. I've been here for a while, and the last guys that tried that became a pile of nothing before they could even leave the cell."
From those words, it sounded like there was more than one guard, and it was one of the reasons the other prisoners were not acting irrationally as well. It wasn't good for survival, instead they had accepted their fates.
"The name is Elyas" the youth said, as they say down.

Job description: [ A lowly temple slave sworn to life long total servitude of the God of slaughter, being servant of the God of slaughter, you have come in contact with a trace of his divinity so you posses a minute and barely a wisp of said divinity.]
Kieran couldn't help but sigh, while cursing his luck, all his stats were the lowest possible stats a player could have and even the job he seemed to have was that of a temple slave, even the system seemed to be making fun of him.
Though he couldn't help but notice the last part that hinted at a form of Divinity, what was it, could it be something that gave him divine powers or a form of special skill or ability ?
Well for now there was nothing he could do about it so he decided to throw it into a corner of his mind and focus on what he could do in the present so he shifted his attention back to Elyas.
Kieran looked him up and down, Elyas looked like a farmer based on the clothes he had on his body. They were badly ripped like he hadn't changed clothes for months.
But his face was friendly with a large grin, he looked young about 17 to 18 years of age.
In summary anyone would term him as being a harmless and friendly youth, but judging from his level, he was anything but that. So Kieran decided to keep his guard up around him, at least until he got to know him better, but for now...
"Elyas...where are we ?" Kieran asked as they continued deeper into the cell and away from the cell door.
" And what exactly is this place ? and why have they put us all in a cell together ? There has to be a reason for them to keep us alive." Kieran asked.
Elyas put a finger on his chin, acting like he was stroking an imaginary bead although he didn't have even a trace of a sturb of hair on his chin as he twisted and turned his head. He was unsure of how to phrase it, without scaring Kieran.
"What's the point of telling him ?" A female voice said from the corner. She was sitting on the ground, rocking back and forth, her red hair was in a ponytail.
"I don't know why you do this, Elyas. You're friendly to everyone who comes into this place, and yet you know it is unlikely that we'll see them again. "
" Besides, judging from what is left of his robes, unlike us, who ended up here due to debts, crimes or misfortune, he was born a slave, a temple slave to be precise. The War mongers destroyed the last temple of the God of slaughter. I suspect that is how he was captured and ended up here.
As a temple slave he has next to no chance of survival" The woman said still rocking back and forth.
" Hey, we don't know that", Elyas replied back. " I have a good feeling about this one " he added. " And what else are we supposed to do, just stay in here till it's our turn ?"
Elyas couldn't help but sigh.
"She's right about one thing though, since you are the newest one to be in here, you'll be called soon." Elyas said.
Just then, the sounds of multiple footsteps could be heard, and Elyas turned his head. He looked nervous and grabbed Kieran by his shoulders a bit too tight, clearly unintentionally but due to fear.
"Crap, you were asleep for too long, I didn't have enough time to tell you. All I can say is, do your best to survive, I know we will meet again. Remember, you need to survive" Elyas shouted.
Kieran wondered just what was going on, all the other prisoners also seemed to be nervous, just what was coming. He couldn't help being nervous too because according to Elyas, whatever it was, it was coming for him.
