10 years later
"So, how have you been?"
Tomo stayed silent.
"Why are you acting so cold to me, Tomo? I'm like a son to you."
Tomo stayed silent.
Finn, in his head, said, "This is so goddamn awkward..."
The two of them kept on following Tomo until they had finally reached her cave. The cave where Gridlock had grown from a boy to a Man.
Tomo sat down on a chair and said,
"Alright, What do you need?"
Gridlock replied, "At first, you and I should catch up a little." He looked over at Finn and said, "Step out of the cave for a little while, kid." Finn replied, "Sure, I'll just grab this coat cause it's kinda cold outside."
"Son, Just tell me what you need and I'll get it done."
"Tomo, You're upset at me. Can you tell me why?"
"Also those years ago, I taught you everything you needed to know to live a successful life in this Galaxy. Even with all that knowledge, you started to commit crimes and disappoint me immensely. Then, you come back here and ask me for more help?"
"I- I'm sorry... Things didn't go as planned... I was put in tough situations, Tomo. Situations where I had no choice."
"Just promise me you'll be better from now one, Son."
"Of course, I was just saying that I've changed. That kid out there, he changed me. I plan to do good for this Galaxy from now on and I need your help."
"I'll give you all the help you need."
"One more thing before that, Finn said something earlier that made me wonder a lot. Why do you choose to stay alone here instead of any other planet except Optoh?"
"Son, Omnipresence is tiring. Being on a populated planet and feeling the presence and emotions of every living thing is so tiring. Being here where there are only a few unintelligent bug-like creatures is calming. My mind is at peace here unlike how horrible my mental state was on Optoh."
"I get it, Tomo. I should probably bring the kid back in now."
After his conversation with Tomo, Gridlock stepped out the cave to call Finn back in. After Finn was inside, Gridlock told Tomo his requests.
"I can't believe you lost Tin. I made it out if so much love.", Tomo said. Gridlock replied, "I'm sorry, Tomo."
Tomo sighed and said, "I'll fix up the ship you guys came here on and then track Tin. You two just stay here and relax." After that, Tomo left the cave and started to go towards The Drifters' Spaceship.
Gridlock and Finn just started to chill in the cave and talked about some random things for a while. They were having fun until Gridlock noticed something peculiar. He immediately took out his laser pen and pointed it at Finn.
Tomo reached The Drifters' Spaceship and said, "Wow... This one's a lot worse than Tin. I can't believe he would settle for this." She looked around and said, "Alright... So all I have to do his enable it's access to hyperspace. That's pretty easy." After a few minutes, Tomo was done.
She then went to the ship's positioning system and put in Tin's code that she had created and memorized all those years ago. It was 4900 characters long.
When Tin was finally located, she said, "What?? Why the hell is it on Optoh?"
"You're a fake... Where is Finn? What did you do to him!", Gridlock said. Finn replied, "What are you talking about? I'm not a fake! I'm right here?"
Gridlock said, "Where the hell is that coat you put on before you went out the cave?" Finn replied, "Oh.. that... Um... I just took it off outside the cave cause it wasn't that cold..." Gridlock replied, "You stay sitting right here... I'll go check."
Gridlock went outside looking for the coat but it was nowhere to be found. He said, "I've had enough..." Gridlock went back inside and confronted the supposed Finn.
"You're not him... Where is Finn? Tell me right now."
"Ah shit... You got me..."
"I'm not joking here... Tell me now."
"Alright... Fine... But how about we talk first? Hmm?"
"What are you? Tomo should have sensed you were on this planet. What the hell are you? You a robot or something?"
"Just hear me out..."
"If you don't tell me where Finn is... I'll laser you in half."
"Your friend is okay... We have more important matters to discuss at the moment."
"I swear to flibor, I'll ki-"
Tomo along with Finn suddenly walked into cave through its entrance and Finn was completely unharmed.
Gridlock saw Finn was wearing the coat and said, "Kid, you're okay!"
Tomo said, "Son, why are you pointing a pen to the wall?" Gridlock replied, "What? I'm threatening this fak-"
Gridlock looked back at where the imitator was sitting but saw nothing was there.
Gridlock was so confused. He was starting to think he was hallucinating. He said, "Finn, where were you?" Finn replied, "Oh... When I went outside, I was just touched by this planet's beauty and I went out exploring. I saw some really cool stuff. There were a bunch of blue bu-"
Gridlock hugged Finn mid-sentence and said, "I thought something happened to you, kid."
Tomo said, "I sensed that he was nowhere near the cave when I was in that ship so I brought him back with him. Speaking of ships, you two need to talk with me about something."
Gridlock and Finn both said, "Sure."
Tomo asked, "Why is Tin on Optoh?"
Somewhere else,
The war between The Vectors and Andromedous on Optoh still raged on. Even though The Prime Minister of The Vectors, Shin, had already killed The Supreme Leader, the war hadn't ended and it had no signs of it either.
When The Supreme Leader had went to collect the approval, the attack on The Vectors by the Andromedous ships was halted under his command.
But when the soldiers of all the ship found out The Supreme Leader was killed, their rage and wrath made them continue the attack.
The Andromedous Ships were destroying everything on Optoh and among those ships was Tin.
