The young man jolted slightly from the sonorous voice, taken aback by his strange words.
'Angels? Hive? What is going on…'
Sharing his confusion, the young woman glanced at the young man and furrowed her brow, bewilderment contorting her beautiful features, her eyes locked onto a distant figure as she raised a slender finger, whispering with her pleasing voice.
"L…Look over there!"
With a nervous sigh, the young man turned his head in the direction she was pointing in, his emerald eyes widening with shock.
What captured the young man's attention was a hovering figure around twenty meters away with large, enchanting white wings that stretched wide with silent power and authority, as if the beautiful pair of wings knew how graceful they were and flaunted their beauty too everything around. Despite being at a distance, the young man could only gape at the heavenly wings and the wide, powerful halo cradling the top of the joyful angels head. Drifting his gaze towards the figure inhabiting the wings— a man who looked in his early thirties with a short beard caressing his sharp jaw had a wide grin spread across his handsome face. Due to the distance, the young man could not see any more details on the mans face, instead his gaze wandered to the ivory combat suit that adorned his toned body, his eyes raking over the shoulder and breast plates shielding the pale skin beneath the suit.
Just as the young man was about to express his awe to the porcelain woman beside him, the calming voice continued with a dry chuckle.
"Why do you all look so frightened of me? I am not that scary!"
With a defeated exhale, the handsome man shook his head with slight frustration, before continuing calmly.
"Anyways…all of you beautiful angels must be curious to where you are, and who you are. But fear not! I will kindly explain…"
The handsome man let out a deep sigh in preparation—as if he had done this a number of times, his joyful tone turning dead serious in an instant.
