Roy still felt a faint tremble in his limbs, even though his body had completely recovered.
The pain had vanished—but the memories… the memories had not.
It was not easy to forget death.
Nor the sensation of life slipping away from him as he lay beneath the claw of a strange lion in a world he knew nothing about.
But what happened afterward…
was something he could not describe.
He closed his eyes for a brief moment.
Instantly, a faint blue gleam flickered within his irises.
The Eternal Eyes… the power the system had awakened within him.
He inhaled slowly.
" I want to know my new abilities, System "
Roy spoke after feeling the changes in his body.
---
Time Domains
A blue screen materialized before him, floating in the air:
It's ability Gives the ability to make a domain, You can control its shape, size, location, and number.
The more fields you have created at the same time, Increased consumption of Aether Force.
You can control the time within the domain as you want, But it drains a lot of Aether Force, The stronger the object inside the field, The more the consumption of the Aether Force, And vice versa.
That's practically invincible if you have enough of Aether Force
---
The Eternal Eyes
Another blue screen materialized before him, floating in the air:
[Eternal Eyes: Activated Abilities]
1. Illusion of Origin and End (Active) :
A power that allows the user to trap any being who meets his gaze in a crushing illusion—
an illusion that forces them to witness the birth of the universe… then its annihilation… then its rebirth,
in an endless cycle until the target collapses completely.
2. Eye of Temporal Paths (Locked)
3. Eye of Truth (Locked)
4. Eye of Oblivion (Locked)
Roy shook his head slowly.
The power was overwhelming… perhaps far more than someone like him should possess.
---
"And what about the Eternal Body?"
Another screen appeared:
[Eternal Body: Activated Abilities]
– Immortality: The body does not age and is unaffected by natural time.
– Everlasting Youth: The body remains in its optimal state at all times.
– Strength of the Dragonkin: Physical strength equal to that of upper-tier dragons.
– Temporal Regeneration: The body can restore itself from almost any injury.
Roy instinctively took a step back.
"This power… is terrifying."
---
The Spirit Weapon
A third screen appeared:
[Spirit Weapon: "The Eternal Clock"]
– Can transform into any shape the user desires
– Contains six components… only the first piece is awakened
– Each piece is located in one of the Five Great Kingdoms
The Five Great Kingdoms:
1. Valinor — Kingdom of Humans
2. Elvarion — Kingdom of Elves
3. Dormak — Kingdom of Dwarves
4. Varymos — Kingdom of Vampires
5. Draavon — Kingdom of Dragons
And the clock he possessed… was only one piece out of six.
---
Roy asked:
"System… I want to return to the human kingdom. How do I do that?"
The response appeared instantly:
[Transfer possible. You will be transported to "Azora"—the homeland of your ancestors, and the birthplace of the Temporal Core from which the system was formed.]
"But… where will I land?"
[Transfer is random. A precise landing point cannot be determined.]
The system gave him no time to prepare.
A blue rift opened beneath his feet—
and he fell.
---
He hit the ground hard.
He didn't die—thankfully—but he could feel danger all around him.
The trees towered above him, their trunks gray and their leaves glowing faint blue.
A soft mist drifted between them, and strange silhouettes moved within it.
The system appeared:
[Current Location: Astrion Forest]
[The forest is one day away from Valinor—Kingdom of Humans]
Roy muttered:
"So I'm close… good."
His stomach growled loudly.
He hadn't eaten since… since his first death.
He left the forest, heading toward the nearest town.
After half an hour of walking, he saw a large city with a massive gate and lit windows.
---
Roy stood before the luxurious establishment, staring up at the ornate sign:
"Golden Emperor Restaurant – For Nobles Only"
"Great… my stomach is killing me.
Fine. I'll take the risk."
Roy said after feeling his empty pocket
He entered and sat down.
The place was so elegant he was afraid to touch anything.
He picked up the menu…
and his eyes widened.
The prices were absolutely outrageous.
"I don't even have a single coin!"
Yet he ordered a small plate of meat anyway, hoping he could somehow slip away later.
He began to eat ravenously.
The taste was incredible…
As if he had never tasted real food before.
While Roy was eating as if there was no tomorrow, He didn't notice a girl with naughty hair and emerald eyes, She was staring at him as if he was unclothed.
" Oh, system, I've mentioned before power levels or something like that, what was it? "
Roy asked, food splattering out of his mouth.
[ This world has power levels, It determines the strength of a person's life essence, And it is divided into seven basic worlds :
1 - Essence Uplifters
2 - Essence Activators
3 - Aether Lords
4 - Lawbound Warriors
5 - Domain Masters
6 - Boundary Transcenders
7 - The Ascendants
8 - Half ruler
9 - Absolute ruler
Only the first seven levels are known to the public, While the rest are known only by the emperors of kingdoms and sometimes princes ]
Roy intended to ask more about this world, but the food ran out and it was time for a dilemma 'How do I pay'.
When the waiter approached him, he looked as if he were about to throw Roy out of the restaurant. But before Roy could say a single word… a calm voice came from behind him:
"Excuse me… I'll pay for his meal."
Everyone turned toward the source of the voice.
It was the same girl who had been watching him earlier. Her dark hair fell softly over her shoulders, and her emerald eyes were fixed on him without the slightest hint of hesitation.
The waiter froze instantly, then bowed deeply with absolute respect.
"Your Highness… we did not notice your arrival. Of course—his meal is on the house."
Roy stiffened. Your Highness?
Was she… a princess?
After finishing the payment, she finally turned to him.
Her gaze was calm—not arrogant, yet sharp. As if she were trying to figure him out.
"You were about to get yourself into trouble," she said, her voice cool but not unkind.
Roy raised a brow.
"I… would've figured something out."
A faint smile tugged at her lips, the kind that bordered on teasing without being cruel.
"Really? You were seconds away from being thrown out the door. That's your 'solution'?"
Roy had no answer. Only a quiet exhale escaped him.
She continued:
"Anyway… I didn't pay because you're poor."
"Then why?"
Roy asked directly—this time with genuine seriousness.
She paused, choosing her words carefully.
"There's… something unusual around you."
"Not the aura of an ordinary person."
Roy blinked slowly, trying to hide the tension rising in his chest.
"And that's enough reason to pay for my meal?"
She shook her head.
"Not the only reason. You know nothing about this place… and if you walk out now without guidance, you'll make even bigger mistakes."
Then she extended her hand, offering him a luxurious violet card glimmering with gold engravings.
"A special guest ticket for tomorrow's auction."
Roy hesitated.
"An auction? And why do you want me there?"
She answered with a steady, realistic tone—no exaggeration, no mystery for the sake of drama:
"Because something about you tells me you'll need to be there. And I'm not the type who ignores her instincts."
After a brief silence, she looked him straight in the eyes.
"And to be honest… I want to understand what you really are."
Roy's heart skipped.
For the first time, he realized she wasn't helping him out of kindness—
but out of curiosity.
The system's voice cut through his thoughts:
[Alert: High likelihood that a fragment of the Eternal Clock will appear at the auction. Attendance recommended.]
Roy's eyes widened.
"…Then I'll go."
She gave a very faint smile, almost unnoticeable.
"Good. My name is Kit… Kit Valinor."
"Roy," he introduced himself simply.
She nodded.
"You can explore the city today. Your private room will be ready for you tomorrow."
Then she turned and left—no dramatic gestures, no lingering looks.
She wasn't impressed by him.
She wasn't trying to charm him.
She was simply a high-ranking woman who saw something different in him.
And for the first time, Roy felt like he wasn't just a broke stranger…
but someone carrying a secret that could change everything.
