that when the other side's attack landed on him,
he would not feel even the slightest pressure or sense of danger.
Relying only on the strength of his body
and the overwhelming durability of his alloy armor,
he could easily block Mew's attack.
"So this is all you can do?"
Shiko looked at Mew,
his expression somewhat disappointed.
"Don't look down on me!"
Mew let out a low voice.
Anger burst from her eyes.
A veteran Legendary Pokémon of her caliber
was actually being looked down on by a being she had never seen before?
How could Mew endure that?
In her eyes,
a dense pink color spread once again,
covering the original black.
That was the appearance she showed when she was using her psychic power with all her might.
Strands of powerful and pure Psychic-type energy
emerged and gathered from every direction of the shattered Psychic Terrain.
Not only that,
all the Psychic-type Pokémon across the battlefield that still retained the ability to fight
felt a huge pulling force.
The Psychic-type energy belonging to them
resonated with Mew's power
and was all drawn away.
The pure pink energy gathered together.
Under Mew's control, it was continuously condensed and compressed.

visibly condensed into an almost solid crystal.

had locked onto him.

A terrifying beam pierced through heaven and earth.
The pink energy condensed into substance.
Wherever it passed,
space itself seemed to quake.
Only the aura of Psychic-type power remained.
In less than the blink of an eye,
that horrifying Psychic-type beam came crashing down.
It was so fast that no one even had time to react!
Could he withstand it!?
Everyone's hearts suddenly tightened.
They once again grew tense and worried for Shiko.
Shiko raised his head.
For the first time,
his expression finally turned serious.
At the instant that powerful beam of energy descended,
he took a defensive stance for the first time.
The two pieces of the Brave Shield on his back flew into his hands.
They joined together,
forming a shining golden shield.
Amid flashing light,
that shield rapidly expanded,
completely protecting his body within it.
Shiko gripped the shield with one hand
and braced himself against the impact of the Psychic-type beam.
But even so,
under that enormous bombardment of energy,
Shiko, holding the Brave Shield,
was still forced down until his knees bent,
and he was driven backward.
That increasingly hunched posture
seemed to indicate
that he had reached his limit.
"Fall!"
Mew yanked her hand downward with force.
She madly mobilized all the energy in her body.
The descending beam instantly swelled by another huge degree!
The impact and collision of energy
instantly split open the ground beneath Shiko's feet and made it tremble violently.
WarGreymon's body
was actually blasted straight into the ground!
This was bad!!!
He couldn't hold on anymore!?
Seeing this scene,
everyone present felt their hearts clench,
and one by one, they could not help but begin to worry!
"Roar!!"
A roar rang out.
A dragon's cry instantly echoed through this entire stretch of heaven and earth.
Across Shiko's body,
a layer of dark red, flame-like dragon aura spread out.
Layered on top of it
was the sharp Steel-type law.
His entire aura
instantly climbed to its peak!
"Roar!!"
After another roar,
Shiko instantly straightened his body.
The sun-emblem pattern on the Brave Shield burst forth with incomparably dazzling light.
An indescribably surging sense of power was born within him,
merging into one with the ultimate, perfect Steel-type and Dragon-type power he possessed!
Endless battle intent erupted from his dragon eyes!
Golden hair flew wildly in the wind!
WarGreymon, carrying the Brave Shield,
forcibly pushed Mew's descending Psychic-type energy back upward!!
