Chapter 90: Asgard
The day quickly broke. Erik rubbed his throbbing head; the hangover was severe.
"Hey, Thor, you're really something. You drank me under the table in no time," Erik said as he stepped out of the RV and saw Thor washing up outside.
Good Thor turned and said, "No, no, no. Drinking is bad for your health. We mustn't drink."
"Huh?" Erik frowned.
"He's been like this ever since he chased that white tiger last night," Jane said, a towel draped over her shoulder. Good Thor had been driving her crazy all morning.
Erik gripped both sides of his hair. "I must not be sober yet."
This was because he was seeing Thor looking into the mirror, wearing a pink hat on his head, and hugging a stuffed teddy bear.
"Wait, you said a white tiger?" Erik suddenly focused on the key point and asked.
Jane nodded. "Yes, last night, a white tiger suddenly broke in here, but Thor, the big guy, chased it away."
"Forget it. Let's head back to the lab to discuss this," Erik said, shaking his head. These matters should be discussed back at the research lab, and Thor's current state was obviously not right.
"Are those bandits willing to return our equipment?" Jane scoffed. Those people were nothing but thugs, taking their stuff without a second thought. Crucially, Jane was helpless against them, and the police either wouldn't or couldn't help.
"Hey, what do you think of these items?" Thor came up to Jane and Erik, holding the stuffed bear.
"He's your problem," Erik ignored Thor and walked away without looking back.
Jane sighed, looking at Thor's appearance, and said exasperatedly, "Come with me, Thor."
"Okay," Good Thor cautiously followed behind Jane.
Asgard, One of the Nine Realms
"No! We must go find Thor!" Fandral paced back and forth, finally deciding that they needed to go to Midgard to find Thor and bring him back.
"Come on, you know that would be considered treason against Asgard," Volstagg said, chewing on something.
"Are you going to stand by and watch that Loki sit on the throne of Asgard!" Fandral shouted. He had absolutely no respect for Loki.
"All you do is eat!" Fandral snatched the food from Volstagg's mouth and threw it on the ground.
"You!" Volstagg stood up abruptly, angered.
"What? Want to fight!" Fandral shouted, not backing down. They were all Warriors of Asgard, unafraid of anyone.
"Wait, you two, stop fighting!" Hogun quickly mediated.
"Hmph! Sif, what do you think?" Fandral turned to a woman nearby and asked.
"We should go. Aren't we Thor's friends?" Sif stated her choice. They could not abandon their friend, even if he had been banished from Asgard.
"But if we go, it will be considered treason against Asgard, violating the Allfather's command." Hogun also desperately wanted to go, but before Odin fell into his deep sleep, he had given the command that no one was allowed to visit Thor.
"Tch! So what if it's treason! What's the big deal!" Fandral, being impulsive, didn't consider the consequences of his words and blurted them out.
"Wait! Heimdall will hear you!" Hogun had just warned Fandral when the door was opened by a guard.
"Heimdall wants to see you," the guard said expressionlessly.
"Uh oh~" Everyone was surprised by how fast Heimdall was.
The four followed the guard to Heimdall.
"You intend to go to Midgard?" Heimdall asked, opening his eyes. It was a rhetorical question.
"Yes! That's right! We are Thor's friends!" Fandral no longer cared about the consequences. Heimdall had already heard everything, and he was determined to check on Thor.
"You cannot go," Heimdall said without expression.
"What if we insist?" Fandral asked.
When Fandral finished, the other three began preparing for a fight. They were willing to disregard anything for Thor's sake.
"As the Guardian of Asgard, the one responsible for watching over the Bifrost, I cannot let you go," Heimdall said, then turned and walked away.
Just as Fandral was about to attack, Sif stopped him. He looked at Sif, confused.
"Look," Sif gestured behind her.
The four turned around and saw that the key to activate the Bifrost was still left on the pedestal. Clearly, Heimdall had deliberately left it there.
The departing Heimdall revealed a faint smile.
Soon, the Bifrost connecting to Midgard opened, and the Warriors Three, plus Sif the warrior, stepped in.
"Hmph!" Loki, standing high above, sneered. If you insist on doing this, then I won't hold back. Loki swished the green cloak behind him and walked into the palace. He couldn't understand what he lacked compared to Thor. Why was everyone siding with Thor?
Earth
"Sir, there is another energy fluctuation, identical to the previous one, appearing in the southwest!" The S.H.I.E.L.D. investigation personnel in the makeshift lab immediately detected the fluctuation via their equipment.
"Send people to check it out!" Coulson said into his communicator.
In the town, the agents observing Thor spotted the Asgardian warriors walking in.
"Is role-playing popular today?" one agent asked, confused.
"I don't know, but we should report this to the commanding officer."
The agent on the right opened his communicator. "Sir, we... we see Jackie Chan, Xena, and Robin Hood?"
In Jane's Lab
Everyone was gathered, eating breakfast and discussing strategy.
"I can't believe it," Darcy said, looking at Thor, who was quietly and politely eating breakfast at the table. She couldn't believe the fierce man she saw yesterday had turned into such a mild-mannered person today.
"Hey Thor, I heard you got into a fight with those thugs yesterday?" Darcy asked, walking up to Thor with her cereal bowl.
Good Thor quickly put down his sandwich, waving his hands. "No~ Darcy, fighting is wrong. I was truly vulgar yesterday."
"Hmm~" Darcy stirred her cereal, walking over to Jane and whispering, "Did he get hit too hard in the head?"
"Impossible. He was fine last night," Jane shook her head. She believed the problem definitely lay with that white tiger. What exactly happened when Thor chased it that could cause such a huge change in a person?
Just as Jane was contemplating, a knock came at the door. Knock, knock, knock!
