Chapter 374: Enthusiastic Felicia

"I'm truly touched," Big Black said with a sob as he released Little Black.

"Stop with the crocodile tears and go catch that rabbit!" Little Black roared instantly. They had no idea where the rabbit had run off to; if it was lost, all their previous data would go down the drain.

"On it!" Big Black strapped on his jetpack and flew off in the direction the rabbit had bolted.

"Seriously, was all that excitement necessary?" Little Black pulled out the Shadow Mask and looked at it again, a slight smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. Actually, things weren't so bad this way...

"You're late, Peter," Gwen said, her arms crossed in dissatisfaction. They had agreed to meet at 10:00 AM sharp; it was now nearly 11:30 AM, almost time for lunch.

"Sorry~ Sorry Gwen, something came up on the way and I got delayed," Peter said apologetically.

"Something came up? Well, let's hear it. What could possibly make you an hour and a half late?" Gwen sat on a nearby bench, staring at Peter quietly. She wanted to see what kind of excuse he would weave. No matter the delay, an hour and a half was a long time. Besides, if something happened, couldn't he have called ahead? She had been waiting in the park all this time.

"I... sorry, I overslept," Peter blurted out, using a clumsy excuse. He couldn't exactly tell her there was a fire on the way and he had to save people.

"Good. At least you're honest," Gwen replied, feeling slightly better. In her eyes, at least Peter was willing to tell the truth instead of making up a ridiculous story.

"There's not much time left to play this morning. Let's head to a restaurant for lunch, and then we'll continue in the afternoon," Gwen said, standing up.

"Great!" Peter beamed. He was just relieved she wasn't angry enough to leave.

"Hi~ Hello, Auntie! My name is Felicia, I'm a classmate of Silas's," Felicia greeted warmly. She was standing right at the front door of the Parker residence.

"Felicia?" Aunt May looked the young, beautiful girl up and down. She was certainly striking.

"Hello, Felicia. I'm Silas's aunt, May." Deciding the girl didn't look like a bad person, May let her inside. After a few brief words in the living room, Felicia asked, "Where is Silas?"

"Oh~ Silas? Have a seat, Felicia. I'll go upstairs and call him." May smiled and turned to head up the stairs.

Watching Aunt May go, Felicia felt a wave of excitement. This time, she had chosen to take the initiative. Waiting for that blockhead Silas to find her was a lost cause.

"Silas!" May opened Silas's door to find him playing video games.

Silas took off his headphones and turned from his computer. "What is it, Aunt May?"

"What is it? There's a young lady downstairs looking for you," May said, giving him a knowing look.

"A lady?" Silas frowned. He didn't think he had many female friends. "What's her name?"

"Felicia," May smiled.

"Felicia?!" Silas was shocked. Just a while ago, he had invited her to play a duo match, but she said she was busy. He had assumed she was eyeing some jewelry to steal; he never expected her to show up at his house.

"That's right." May glanced downstairs at Felicia waiting on the sofa. She stepped into the room and whispered, "Did you and Misty break up? I actually think Misty is very nice."

"We didn't break up," Silas said, half-laughing and half-exasperated. Why did Aunt May think that?

"Then why is this girl here for you?" May was confused. She thought he had moved on to Felicia.

"Probably just to play games." Silas finished his round and stood up. "Let's go down, Aunt May."

"After she leaves, you have some explaining to do," May muttered. She felt her nephew was becoming more and more complicated.

Silas nodded helplessly and walked downstairs with May.

"Hi, Silas!" Felicia waved happily the moment she saw him.

"No wonder you wouldn't play games with me; you were coming here," Silas teased.

"Aunt May, let me re-introduce myself. My name is Felicia Hardy, and I'm Silas's girlfriend." Felicia boldly walked over to Silas, grabbed his arm, and planted a kiss right on his lips.

Aunt May was stunned. She looked at Silas, then back at Felicia. Classmate? Girlfriend? Silas was equally stunned. Felicia, you're being this bold?

"You two talk. I'll get you some snacks," May said, quickly turning away to "escape." Her mind was spinning; she needed to process this.

"Felicia, you... sigh~" Silas wanted to say something, but the words wouldn't come.

"What's wrong?" Felicia asked with a brilliant smile. She had intentionally blindsided Aunt May to leave a lasting impression.

Step one: Leave an indelible mark on Silas's family. Complete!

"Never mind. Let's go talk upstairs," Silas said, leading her to his room.

"Were you playing games?" Felicia asked, seeing the 'Victory' screen on his monitor.

"Mm-hmm. Since you didn't come, I had to play solo." Silas was currently waiting for Little Black to finish researching the rabbit that could outrun a cheetah. Once he got the Rabbit Talisman, he planned to give Pietro a real show.

"Are you still planning on playing games now?" Felicia leaned against Silas's shoulder. Her long white hair brushed against his ear, and the faint scent of her perfume drifted into his nose. A wave of warmth hit Silas's ear, making his heart race.

Thump-thump, thump-thump.

"Phew~" Silas exhaled, trying to steady his nerves. "Felicia, are you doing this on purpose?" He didn't want to get carried away with Aunt May just downstairs.

"Doing what on purpose?" Felicia played dumb, twirling a strand of her hair against his neck.

"Ah!" Felicia let out a small gasp as Silas suddenly turned and pulled her onto his lap.

"You're quite strong," she said, slightly surprised. She remembered his strength from when he caught her before, but lifting her like this was effortless.

"I have even more strength, want to see?" Silas teased. Felicia knew exactly what he meant and leaned in to kiss his neck.

"Silas, your—" Aunt May stood frozen in the doorway, holding two cups of coffee.

Felicia sat up abruptly, and Silas awkwardly closed his eyes, his excitement instantly extinguished as if by cold water.

"Aunt May, I..." Silas tried to salvage the situation.

Felicia beat him to it, asking gently, "Hello again, Aunt May. Obviously, you know what's happening next. Could you please close the door?"

"Of course... of course." May was flabbergasted by how bold this girl was. She set the coffee on the floor, closed the door, and decided she needed to go for a walk.

"Wow, Felicia... you're something else," Silas muttered.

Felicia looked at him with eyes full of affection. "Sorry, I just didn't want to drag this out any longer."

With that, she leaned over him and kissed him passionately...
