They both walked toward the exit door of the Security Division office. Even though Liora looked normal, Rai still kept his suspicion toward her.
"Do you like cake? There are lots of cakes in my office. You can take some if you want," said Liora casually.
"Unfortunately, I don't like cake," Rai replied quickly.
"Alright, alright…" Liora muttered while letting out a small sigh.
They arrived in front of the exit door of the Security Division office. From beneath the door, Rai saw a very bright light. He also heard the noise of people talking.
"Hmm?" he murmured softly.
Liora glanced at Rai's face. "Ah, you're going to be surprised by this."
She slowly opened the door. Sunlight immediately shone on both of them. The view that followed made Rai slightly surprised. Before his eyes stretched many large, orderly buildings.
Teenagers were seen walking, talking, and playing together. Rai lifted his head and saw a tall tower with a giant clock at its peak.
"Welcome to KalvaryaIsland," said Liora with a proud smile.
Rai fell silent. His mouth slightly opened, carried away by what he saw.
"What's the name of this place?" he asked while still staring ahead.
"Huh? You didn't listen to what I said earlier, did you? Whatever! Come with me!" Liora replied, sounding slightly annoyed.
She turned right and walked quickly. Rai only shook his head slightly and followed behind.
While jogging a little, he caught up with Liora who was walking in her "annoyed mode." "You're making me annoyed, you know?" said Liora.
Rai only thought silently, 'She said welcome to Kalvarya Island earlier? Did I hear wrong?'
Liora elbowed his arm. "Come on! You're so slow! My office is still far!"
"That actually hurt," Rai replied coolly.
While walking, Rai looked around. He briefly saw a group of teenagers doing something strange in one of the building corridors, but he chose not to care. The only thing he wanted was to finish his business as soon as possible.
"Is your office still far?" he asked flatly.
"No, just a little more," Liora answered.
Soon, they stopped in front of a large building that looked luxurious and clean — much better than the Security Division office.
"How is it? Not as bad as their office, right?" Liora asked full of hope.
Rai stayed silent. No reaction.
Liora let out a long sigh. "Whatever. Now follow me inside. We'll talk in my room."
"Okay?" Rai replied halfheartedly.
"Yeah yeah, whatever. Just get in already!" Liora grumbled.
She let Rai sit and then made him a cup of tea. She also placed a piece of chocolate bread — the favorite snack of the Regulation Division members — in front of him.
Liora sat across from Rai. Her gaze was firm.
"Now, I want you to focus and listen to what I'm about to say."
Rai remained silent. His eyes were fixed on her.
"The rules here are many, but I'll explain the five most important ones that no student is allowed to break," she said seriously.
"Interesting enough," Rai murmured flatly.
Liora pointed at his nose.
"First! Students are not allowed to leave this island! Except during the annual holiday period."
"Second! Students may not fight the teachers and the headmaster."
"Third! Students may not oppose the RevivaCouncil!"
Hearing that, Rai felt slightly displeased.
"So the third rule means students must obey the Reviva Council?" he asked coldly.
"Finally you get it. No wonder Lyube got mad at you earlier," Liora replied casually.
"Who would've thought…" Rai muttered.
"Fourth! You are required to maintain your grades. If not… you will be removed from here."
"Fifth! Students who have already been assigned to a dormitory may not transfer without the Reviva Council's permission."
Liora then checked Rai's documents.
"Hmm? You're placed in the Opportunis Dormitory? What a pity."
Rai replied coldly, "I don't care where I'm placed. Besides, the letter I received already stated that there would be a dormitory system in this… strange place."
Liora burst into loud laughter. Rai could only stare at her in confusion.
"Hahaha! You're pretty funny. Just so you know, the Opportunis Dormitory is full of weird and lazy people!"
She laughed even harder.
"At least you could've gotten Luminara or Moonspire! Hahaha! And you won't be able to transfer unless the Reviva Council allows it!"
Rai glared at her sharply.
"You'd better give me the rest of the regulation documents before I leave this office and this ugly room."
Still laughing, Liora threw the documents toward him. Rai took them without a word and left just like that — without even saying goodbye.
He walked toward the location of the Opportunis Dormitory — the address was already inside the bag that Lyube had thrown earlier.
"This place just keeps getting stranger…" he murmured while continuing his walk.
While walking toward the Opportunis Dormitory, Rai looked into his bag again. He found many school supplies such as uniforms, a name pin, and a sophisticated phone.
"Hm? Was this phone already inside the bag earlier?" Rai wondered.
He took the phone and unlocked it with his fingerprint. When the screen lit up, the phone looked like a normal one, but there was a suspicious application: RevivaPoints.
"Points… Reviva?" Rai repeated softly.
He opened the application. Once it opened, he saw it displayed the total points he currently possessed. Apparently, the points could be used to buy anything in that place.
"This is more than enough," Rai said as he looked at the amount — still at one hundred thousand rupiah.
He scrolled down the screen. There were various ways to earn points. Teenagers could work, help the Reviva organization, challenge other teens for bets, and many more.
"Some are even illegal… but this strange place seems immune to the law," he murmured.
Rai continued walking until he reached the foot of a hill. Near it was a forest corridor leading to the Opportunis Dormitory.
"Through here?" he whispered.
As he was about to step in, Rai suddenly stopped when he heard two people talking. From the darkness of the corridor, two male students from the Opportunis Dormitory emerged while chatting.
"I heard our dorm is in last place again, huh?" said the first student.
"You're acting like you're not used to it. Besides, how could our dorm compete with strong ones like Percival or Luminara," replied the second student.
"You're right about that," the first student said.
Both of them laughed loudly while walking past Rai. They didn't notice him at all and continued walking while laughing.
"What was that…" Rai muttered while watching them.
Rai turned his head toward the corridor again. But this time, he heard a man's voice — calm yet authoritative.
"Welcome to the Opportunis Dormitory, new student…" said the voice.
From within the corridor, a man appeared with an honorary star pinned on the right side of his chest. He stepped forward with a friendly smile.
"Nice to meet you. I am the Head of the Opportunis Dormitory. My name is HorezYuto," said Mr. Yuto with a warm smile.
Rai nodded slowly. "Nice to meet you…" he replied, still with a blank expression, showing neither happiness nor a smile.
