Mr. Yuto invited Rai to walk following him into the forest hallway.
"I think getting the Opportunis dormitory will be very difficult, right?" asked Mr. Yuto.
Rai answered that question in a quiet voice. "Not at all."
Hearing that answer, Mr. Yuto immediately laughed loudly while slapping Rai's back very hard.
"Hahaha! I didn't expect that there would be someone who likes the Opportunis dormitory," said Mr. Yuto.
Hearing that, Rai became confused. "Since when did I like this dormitory?" muttered Rai.
The two of them walked deeper into the forest until they finally arrived at a large, grand building with a dark gray color.
"Not too good, but decent enough, right?" said Mr. Yuto.
Rai was slightly surprised. "Outside my expectations…" he muttered.
Mr. Yuto held Rai's shoulder. "Let's go inside, and I'll also tell you which room is yours."
Mr. Yuto then dragged Rai inside. When inside the building, he began explaining about the important rules in the Opportunis dormitory.
"Before we get to your room, I want to say that this dorm is divided into two: half for boys and half for girls. So the very important rule is that male students are not allowed to be in the girls' area, and vice versa," said Mr. Yuto.
Rai looked at Mr. Yuto. "Is that all?" he asked.
"Yes… that's it. That's the only rule here. The rest, you are free to do whatever you want," answered Mr. Yuto.
Mr. Yuto took Rai to his room, which was numbered 267. Arriving in front of the door, Mr. Yuto gave the room key to Rai and told him to open it.
"Don't worry, we cleaned it this morning," said Mr. Yuto.
Rai slowly took the key, then opened the door and pushed it. It turned out the room was very nice and clean—once again breaking Rai's expectations.
"Oh right, before I leave, I just want to say: the walls here are very thin. So just understand if the room next door is noisy, okay?" said Mr. Yuto.
Mr. Yuto then left while smiling. Rai simply ignored that statement and walked into his room, then locked the door from the inside.
While inside the room, Rai threw his bag onto the bed, then lay down because he felt tired after five hours on the train in boredom.
But when Rai was about to fall asleep for a moment, suddenly his phone rang. He checked it and saw a message notification from Liora who apologized for her behavior earlier.
Seeing that, Rai ignored it and did not reply. Then he realized that the phone given to him already had each student's identity inserted. No wonder Liora's name immediately appeared and not an unknown number.
"So that's how it is? They designed this phone so well that it can't be opened even a little," said Rai while flipping his phone.
Feeling suspicious, Rai immediately turned the phone off completely and put it back into his pants pocket. He then went to the outer terrace of his room on the third floor while looking at the backyard view.
"Weird and lazy… If that's true, why could that person get an Honor Star? Shouldn't an Honor Star never be given to a weird person?" muttered Rai while daydreaming on the terrace.
Suddenly a soccer ball from below shot quickly toward Rai who was above. Rai reflexively dodged, and the ball bounced and hit one of the flower vases on his terrace.
The four male students who were playing soccer immediately panicked while looking up at Rai, who looked like he was about to get angry. But Rai only sighed and returned the ball by throwing it from above.
"We're really sorry!" said one of the students.
Rai ignored their apology. He immediately cleaned the broken flower vase because he didn't want his new room to get dirty after being cleaned with difficulty this morning.
"Turns out he was right, weird and lazy…" said Rai while putting the vase pieces into a plastic bag.
While Rai was cleaning the broken flower vase, suddenly someone knocked on the door. Rai quickly went to open it.
He was slightly surprised to see a servant bringing tea and some cakes.
"Good afternoon, Young Rai… I am the head servant in this dormitory. Mr. Yuto told me to bring you a glass of tea and some cakes for this afternoon's snack," said the servant.
Rai originally wanted to refuse because he didn't like tea and cakes. But for the sake of politeness, he reluctantly accepted them.
"Alright…" he said while taking the tray from the servant's hand.
"Oh yes, he also said that every night all male students are required to cook their own food to reduce laziness," added the servant.
Rai only nodded softly and closed the door, then locked it again. He placed the tray of tea and cakes on the table.
He returned to cleaning the broken flower vase. But suddenly the phone in his pocket vibrated, surprising him. He quickly took out the phone.
When he opened it, he was shocked because he received a violationnotification: turning off the phone completely on purpose. If he violated it again, Rai's phone would be temporarily blocked.
"Unexpected… who would have thought that just turning off the phone can get a violation? How many rules does this strange place have?" said Rai.
Rai looked toward the file containing all the rules on this island which he placed on the table near the tray.
