Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 The Lottery

The next morning, Honkai: Star Rail got up early to complete her check-in and daily tasks.

However, she found that everyone in the chat group was still offline or asleep, so she decided to wait.

If she won a big prize and no one saw it, it would be a waste.

While waiting, Honkai: Star Rail fell asleep again, only waking up when March 7th came to call her for breakfast.

Honkai: Star Rail thought, 'Since things have come to this, I might as well eat first.'

After breakfast, in the chat group:

[The Stellaron Hunters · Honkai: Star Rail]: "I'm back, replenished with energy! I checked in and did my daily tasks first thing this morning."

[The Stellaron Hunters · Honkai: Star Rail]: "Too bad it was too early, and none of you were online, so I decided to postpone the gacha until you're all online. No need to thank me!"

[Genshin Impact · Paimon]: "Is it coming? Is it coming?"

Everyone stared intently at their screens, eagerly anticipating the chat group's first gacha draw, wanting to see what Honkai: Star Rail would get.

Honkai: Star Rail looked at her massive sum of 266 points, which was enough for one draw.

Then she began her mystical ritual.

Honkai: Star Rail hugged Pom-Pom tightly, ignoring Pom-Pom's protests of "Stop! Rude! Let go of Pom-Pom!" and forcibly ruffled her.

While ruffling, she kept muttering, "Pom-Pom, Pom-Pom, share some of your good luck with me!"

Pom-Pom struggled fiercely, her short legs flailing, but it was useless.

It wasn't until March 7th couldn't bear to watch anymore that she stepped forward and laboriously pulled away the fellow who was acting silly again.

Then Honkai: Star Rail pulled out her cherished trash can and sat on it, as if on a throne, extending her hand to begin the draw.

A green light flashed, indicating that Honkai: Star Rail's luck was not bad; not losing money was a success.

Upon closer inspection, it looked quite like a small toy from the Xianzhou — a bamboo-copter.

After reading the description, Honkai: Star Rail's lips curved into a smug smile.

She ignored March 7th and Dan Heng's slightly sympathetic gazes and directly put the seemingly ordinary bamboo-copter on her head.

The next second, under March 7th and Dan Heng's suddenly wide, disbelieving gazes, Honkai: Star Rail's body swayed, yet floated up with unusual steadiness!

Honkai: Star Rail looked proud: "Now I'm the Flying Bat Hero!"

Pom-Pom and Welt, who were watching nearby, were also a bit surprised. How could a seemingly ordinary bamboo-copter make someone fly?

March 7th: "Oh, stop playing! Quickly tell us what you drew!"

"Can't you tell? It's a simple bamboo-copter, it just lets me fly." Honkai: Star Rail happily lifted her head.

"If you say a few nice things, maybe I can let you play with it."

March 7th fell into a struggle, as the item did look quite fun.

Honkai: Star Rail didn't wait for March 7th and immediately sent a selfie to the group.

[The Stellaron Hunters · Honkai: Star Rail]: "Oh-ho ~ I'm the Flying Bat Hero now."

[Zero Zone · Ling]: "It can fly! So cool, what rarity is it? What's it called? I want it so badly, can I afford it?"

Ling grew more excited as she spoke, after all, who could resist the ability to fly? And such simple, effortless flight at that.

[The Stellaron Hunters · Honkai: Star Rail]: "The description says it's a small prop from another world, only green quality, 500 points each. Tempted?"

Honkai: Star Rail got carried away, attempting a difficult maneuver, flying close to the ceiling. As she came down, she accidentally knocked over Himeko's coffee cup, causing a small commotion and Himeko's exasperation.

March 7th seized the opportunity to retort, "I told you not to play in the carriage!"

Dan Heng silently recorded, "Otherworldly creation 'Bamboo-copter,' possesses low-altitude levitation ability, stability remains to be observed."

[Genshin Impact · Paimon]: "So amazing, she got a green quality on her first try! That means Honkai: Star Rail even earned over three hundred points. I want to try too."

Then Paimon stopped checking the group messages and turned to Lumine: "Lumine! I'm going to start."

Lumine looked at Paimon and silently prayed for Paimon to draw something good.

Paimon looked at the gacha pool. She had 194 points. Although she hadn't completed her daily tasks yet, with today's check-in, it was enough for one draw.

Paimon closed her eyes tightly, clenched her small fists, and pressed the draw button with all her might!

After a while, Paimon dared to open her eyes a crack.

When the dazzling purple light entered her vision, she suddenly widened her eyes.

It wasn't until Lumine nudged Paimon and asked, "Paimon, what did you draw? It's okay if it's not a combat skill, there will be plenty of opportunities later."

Paimon finally came back to her senses, excitedly spinning wildly in the air.

"Purple, purple, purple!!! Lumine! It's purple! The purple with only a 0.1% chance! Wahahahaha! It turns out Paimon is the true luck king! My luck is the best in the world!"

Lumine was surprised: "What? It's actually purple? That's amazing, quickly see what it does."

Paimon looked at the description and told Lumine, "Let me see... This is... Optimization Power, a power with rules, capable of removing bad things from the human body or objects, restoring them to their original state."

"Uh, this looks like it has no combat power at all. I was hoping I could finally fight alongside you."

Lumine said, "It's okay, Paimon, this is very strong too, and didn't you say it has rule power? It sounds very powerful, you should develop it well."

Paimon agreed: "Of course, no problem, I'll try it right now."

Immediately, Paimon chose "Extract." A soft purple glowing orb appeared before her.

Before she and Lumine could get a good look, the orb zipped and directly merged into Paimon's palm!

Paimon jumped in surprise, quickly spread her hand, and saw a clear wrench imprint appear on her palm.

"Lumine, I feel like I can summon something." Then, following the sensation, she summoned.

The wrench pattern in her hand materialized into a physical object.

Paimon's eyes widened, looking incredulously at the large wrench in her hand, her voice rising eight octaves.

"Ah?! Is that it?! This, this, this... This is the legendary purple rarity?! A wrench?! It's so uncool! This doesn't suit Paimon's image at all!"

Lumine teased: "Oh ~ now it's Master Paimon's turn. Do you want to fix something?"

Then Lumine took out a piece of iron ore. "Come on, Paimon, try it. Didn't you say you could remove bad things from objects? See if you can turn this into a piece of iron."

Paimon thought about it and decided it was worth a try: "Okay, I'll try."

Paimon weighed the wrench in her hand, then swung it and lightly struck the iron ore.

The iron ore slowly shrunk, and impurities continuously appeared beside it.

In just three to five seconds, a shiny iron ingot appeared on the ground.

Lumine and Paimon both found this somewhat incredible.

"Is this the power of rules? It's so amazing." Both exclaimed the same thing.

Lumine looked at the pure iron ingot on the ground, thoughtfully: "Since it can remove impurities from ore, what if it's used on people?"

"Could it possibly cure diseases or bad states? If it really can..." Lumine deliberately paused, looking at Paimon with a smile in her eyes, "Then Paimon, you might become a divine doctor even more amazing than Baizhu from Bubu Pharmacy."

Hearing Lumine's words, Paimon couldn't help but think, 'Divine doctor ~ If I'm a divine doctor, then I can also earn Mora, and earn more than Baizhu, then I'll have endless delicious food...'

Seeing Paimon happily lost in her imagination, Lumine reminded her in due time: "Alright, stop thinking. Go tell the group, then we'll use an anchor point to go to Liyue and pull Zhongli in."

Paimon agreed and then went to the group to share the good news.
