Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 : The First War of Crevalis

Time in Crevalis flowed differently now.

For every single day that passed on the system clock, one thousand years rippled through the newborn world. Civilizations rose from the soil, cultures formed, and the first kingdoms began to awaken across the plates.

Arsere watched from her divine domain as the tapestry of history began to weave itself.

The Xian Empire — Sword of the Sky

The very first kingdom to form was on the fertile plains of Verdantis, created by humans blessed directly by Xian.

Though he often acted like a loud, unpredictable troublemaker, the truth was simple:

Xian was a terrifyingly strong sword god.

And because of his blessing, every human born in the Xian Empire inherited

— sharper reflexes

— affinity with blade arts

— a stubborn courage that bordered on idiocy (Xian called this "charisma")

The humans named their rising kingdom after him:

The Xian Empire.

Tall citadels, disciplined armies, and endless sword-training fields stretched across the land. Xian, watching from his realm, puffed out his chest.

"Look at them! My followers! My legacy!" he bragged daily.

Arsere had once wondered how such a fool could inspire a civilization.

Now she understood: even fools can be strong enough to inspire worship.

The Viron Empire — Throne of Demons

On the other sede of the world, in the chaotic lands of Nightvail, demons began to gather. With Virex overseeing the plate, they received his blessing—one that allowed them to grow stronger by absorbing negative emotions.

Fear. Hatred. Despair.

Where humans trained with swords, demons trained with suffering.

Thus their kingdom was born:

The Viron Empire.

Its rulers were fierce, its warriors ruthless, and its ambition simple:

If humans produced negative emotions, demons would gain power.

And the easest way to extract negative emotions?

Start a war.

The demon generals developed a clear plan:

"Attack humans. Make them despair. Grow stronger. Repeat."

Chaos in the Divine Realm

Meanwhile, in Arsere's divine domain, the two gods responsible for these kingdoms were already screaming at each other.

"You lunatic!" Xian shouted, slamming his sword on the divine floor. "Call off your ugly demon brats! They're attacking my empire!"

Virex shrugged with the calmness of someone who absolutely knew he was causing trouble.

"What can I do? We can't directly interfere with the lifeforms, remember?"

"You— YOU!" Xian's aura exploded, and his sword ignited with killing intent. "I'm going to slice you in half!"

Virex froze.

If Xian's blade touched him, even he knew the result:

instant death.

So he quickly pulled out his trump card—

the only phrase that could stop Xian's rampage.

"WAIT WAIT! Don't kill me! Why don't you go ask help from our Supreme Goddess instead?"

Xian's rage evaporated instantly.

His expression brightened like a flower blooming after rain.

"…Right! Arsere! She can fix this!"

In a blink, Xian vanished, rushing straight toward Arsere's throne room with the energy of an excited golden retriever.

Virex exhaled deeply, wiping imaginary sweat from his forehead.

"Saved… I'm saved… Thank the cosmic void."

Arsere Watches It All

High above Crevalis, Arsere observed the growing tension between the two kingdoms—

the Xian Empire preparing for war,

and the Viron Empire eagerly sharpening their claws.

A small sigh slipped from her lips.

"Just when I thought things would finally calm down…"

Yet somewhere deep inside, she couldn't deny it:

The world had begun to move on its own.

Kingdoms rising.

Wars forming.

Gods arguing like idiots.

This was the beginning of true history.

And now, once again, everyone was running toward her for help.
