"You freaking assholes!!" I barked at the sturdy tall giants standing with their heads down by the doorway. Each of them was twice the size of an average bouncer and that was what probably made my anger boil over. All these men couldn't take out one woman.
"Uhh!" I grunted, turning around and throwing my hands on the table. A semi-automatic lay right next to me, whispering insanities to me. I stared down at it, breathing angrily. Only God could explain how much I held back the urge to listen to it.
"You had one job, one single job. Kill her, that's all I told you to do but you messed that up. The worst part is, you didn't say anything about it. Do you know how long it's been?"
I spun around. "Six years, that's how long it's been. For six years I thought you all actually finished the job. Now she is back, and look at what she has done to my reputation." I pointed at the Celebrity magazines. "I'm all over the news because of you fools!!!"
They kept quiet, wearing this cold, indifferent expression on their faces. I took a long look at them and spat in disgust. "You are useless, every single one of you. I should kill you all. Bury you and your fucking families. ¡Cazzo!!!" I yelled, kicking the table down. Shock ran through them, some cowering back.
I stormed off, throwing myself on an arm chair somewhere in the room. My freaking mind kept racing back to the videos shot at the auction that day. I looked like a clown jumping seats just to shut off that video. The shit still played to the end even with all my effort, now my phone's been buzzing all morning with reporters looking for my take on the whole thing.
The instant that crossed my mind, my cell vibrated in my pocket. It was my PRO officer. I scoffed. "Fucking great, just fucking great." I flung the phone, it twirled and hit one of the men, shattering on his head. He flinched, but remained where he was, blood trickling on the floor.
"You should calm down. All this strain isn't good for your health, remember what the doctor said." A voice whispered behind me, a woman's voice. I felt her fingers rest on my shoulders and slide into my shirt, caressing my chest. She placed her head on my shoulders and kissed the corner of my lips.
I had completely forgotten her, the woman I spent my night with. To be honest, I don't even remember her name.
I heaved, placing my hand on hers. "Did I wake you, I'm sorry. These shits were just…"
"It's alright." She said her voice was velvet and soft. Now I remember why I chose her last night, she had a way of melting your worries with her tongue and her mouth. "I don't mind. A man has to let out his worries sooner or later. Although I don't think you are getting at this the right way."
I raised a brow, my gaze shifting to meet her green eyes. She smiled warmly. "That Genie woman, your ex, I doubt she spent six years preparing for revenge. That's a very tiring thing to do. This little stunt of hers is probably the best she can do."
I heaved, chuckling a little. I rose from the seat, turning to her. I held up her chin, so our eyes could meet again. She grinned, showing off her pretty white teeth. I stroked her hair, curled some of it around my fingers and I yanked, hard. She winced, yelping in pain.
I whispered. "You stupid woman. You have no idea who Genie is, do you? Next time, if you don't have anything reasonable to say, stay invisible." I shoved her, she stumbled back and hit the wall. "Get out." She scooped her clothes off the floor immediately and scurried off. I glanced at the men by the doorway. They were still and silent.
"You know, if it was so easy to get new bodyguards, I would have deleted you all. So here's what's gonna happen. You all are going to make up for what you did. Now go out there and bring me that bitch's corpse!!"
They bowed and left, their footsteps resounding through the halls until it vanished. The house fell into absolute silence. I stood alone, in the middle of the room, my eyes fixed on the open door. Funny how this house is still the same house I built together with Genie.
"Tsk." I clicked my tongue. If only she had just continued to be the enduring wife she always was. Now that she is back, she will probably have a lot of things cooked up for me. That woman will be my ruin. I stormed off, grabbing my long black coat. I can't sit around and just wait. This time, I need to be there to watch her die.

7:30 PM
Wadfrezz Street
My black sedan wheeled into the underground parking lot, adjacent to the DanFrezz supermarket. It settled in nicely onto a spot with a great view of the shops and everything else all over the place.
I rolled down the car window and looked out into the street. It was awfully dry for a Saturday night but that was just fine by me. My gaze shifted to the wine-red Bentley sleeping on the lot in front of the supermarket. A while ago, my men had reported spotting VonGenie stepping down from that car.
I glanced around the area one more time. A black SUV was positioned not too far from the supermarket, it was facing the road. I waved at my driver and he dialed the SUV for me.
"Boss, they said they are more than ready to move once the target does." He reported.
I leaned back on the soft Arabian leather backseat and I shut my eyes. "Tell them that I just need a body. I don't want her alive."
"I will, boss." He gave his back to me and relayed my message. While he was on the phone, I heard a doorbell chime, the cold night air swooping in through the car window. I looked out into the street again and there she was, standing beside her car, in lemon green and a white wooly coat over the dress. She was on slippers with heels. She looked beautiful, more beautiful than I remembered. It's been more than five years and she hasn't aged a day.
I think she glanced my way but I was too far for her to see. She turned, climbed into her Bentley and drove off. I looked at the driver, he nodded, and started up the engine. We were on the road the next moment, slowly tailing the black SUV.
The plan was simple. She goes into the tunnel but she doesn't make it out. I fondled with my house keys, impatiently waiting for this to end. The tunnel suddenly felt so far away. There was no traffic, everything was supposed to be smooth but out of no where, a truck overtook the SUV.
"Hey what's going on?" I leaned forward, pointing at the truck. "Where the hell did that come from?"
"Sir, it's about to leave. It's just cutting lines to get…"
"I don't freaking care, he is blocking her, that's what I care about so cross him."
"Yes Sir."
I threw myself back on the seat. "Estos idiotas nunca pueden hacer nada bien (These idiots can never do anything right)."
The driver changed gears, maneuvering the truck. We made a slow pass around it. I looked out the window to see the driver, whistling away and enjoying himself like he was not ruining my night. The man glanced my way. I was glaring at him with two middle fingers raised. He froze, watching me until I was out of sight. We entered the tunnel immediately after we over took him. I could spot the SUV screeched up to a stop near the wall, it has backed the Bentley to a corner. My men were around it, breaking the windows.
The driver went past them and then pulled up a few meters away. I stepped down and watched quietly. There was a ruckus as expected, passing cars drove faster as they approached the location. The ruckus went on for a while then it stopped.
A frown settled on my lips. I snapped my fingers. "Sali, come here."
My driver hurried up to me.
"Tell me l, what do you hear?"
He paused momentarily and then he replied. "Nothing boss."
"Exactly. Where is the sound of a screaming woman." I reached inside the car and took out a rifle. Those fucks better not be shitting me.
I made for the SUV, cocking the gun. I came around, pointing it at them; they stepped back immediately, staring wide-eyed at me.
"What the hell is going on, Huh. Do you need me to tell you how to kill her too."
They did not say a word, just kept staring at me. I glanced at the car and back to them. What in Maria's name are they standing around for?
"Uh." I grunted, moving to the car window myself. I took a look inside. The car was empty. My expression went cold.
There was a writing glued to the driver's seat. I squinted my eyes and peered at it. It read;
*¡Cu-cú! ¿Te hice una broma? (Peakaboo, did I trick you?).*
I stuck my head out of the window and stormed off.
"¡Cazzo!!!"
