Jay's Pov
I woke up in Keifer's embrace, he was already awake, I smiled at him because now I felt safe after being in his embrace,
He kissed my forehead and asked,
Keifer: "How are you feeling Jay?"
Jay: "Better"
He quickly got up and came up with the thermometer, he checked my temperature.
Then only I noticed we were in a different house, it is not Keifer's house, it looked different, So I decided to ask him,
Jay: "Keif, where are we?"
He answered without looking at me, that was weird,
Keifer: "Our apartment"
Jay: "Our?" I asked confused, but he just nodded and went and came back with essentials,
Keifer: "You can freshen up, I will bring your clothes in some time." He said and I nodded,
He was behaving differently but why, before I could ask him, he went out saying,
Keifer: "I am going to prepare food for us"
I just nodded and went in to freshen up,
I felt really good after that hot shower because my body was feeling sore, It helped me with my body pain,
And of course when I came out, my dress was neatly laid in bed and the door was locked, I smiled at it, thinking his thoughtfulness.
I quickly changed and went out to see his parents were seated,
Mom& Dad: "Jay" they said as soon as I opened the door, I don't know why I got emotional when I saw them, they came to me and I hugged them immediately and started crying a little.
Mom: "It's okay dear, we are all here nothing happened"
I just hugged them tighter,
Dad: "Jay, for future reference I am your Dad okay?"
I just smiled and nodded with tears.
We pulled away from the hug, Mom held my hands and led me to the couch and I saw Keifer from the kitchen looking at us, he went back to cooking when I saw him.
Mom: "I told you come straight to our house, why did you go there?"
Jay: "No Mom, they wanted me back but I don't know they will do all this"
Dad: "I told Keifer thousand times it doesn't matter if he comes but bring Jay, but he never does what I ask him to do"
Before I could reply, he replied from the kitchen,
Keifer: "For that people should listen to me" Okay something is seriously wrong with him.
They both ignored him but I couldn't, Something is unsettling,
Jay: "How did you guys came to know about all of this?"
Mom: "Well this guy was restless the whole day that you did not reply to his call or texts, he was even planning to leave that day itself, we only suggested for him to leave the next day, he left so early, but after getting to know what happened I wished I would have sent him sooner." She said looking at Keifer who was arranging the table.
I smiled at mom, I must have made them worry so much.
Keifer: "Food is ready, Everyone come" he said and everyone joined in table but he sat with dad instead of me.
He served for all of us, I know he is angry but the care alone will not stop.
After that we spent some time with Mom and Dad, and they left after having dinner.
Mom: "I know you guys need alone time, So spend some time together and come to our house"
Dad: "Yes I will be waiting for you guys to play games and movie nights"
He said and we smiled and nodded, and they left.
Before I turned to speak to Keifer, he went to kitchen to wash the dishes, I went and stood beside him.
Keifer: "Jay, why are standing here go and rest" he said in a neutral tone and it made me feel bad.
Jay: "Why are you ignoring me?" I asked him in a lower tone
Keifer: "Jay we will talk later, you go to bed, I'll come"
I know he is not going to talk now so I went to bed and settled but I couldn't stop myself from crying, because he has never done like this before.
