Jay's PoV
He came after some time, I was facing the side, he came around and asked,
Keifer: "Did you take your tablets?"
I did not reply, then he came towards me and knelt in front of me and saw me crying, he instantly got worried,
Keifer: "Jay"
Jay: "Why are you ignoring me? Is it because of the engagement?"
He sighed before replying,
Keifer: "Do you really think that I would mad for the engagement that you had nothing to do with"
Jay: "Then why are you behaving like this"
He wiped my tears,
Keifer: "I am mad at you because you did not listen to me, If you had listened to me and came along with me nothing would have happened"
Jay: "I am sorry, I just" I did not know what to say.
Keifer: "Also I was mad at myself, because I wasn't there for you, and the state I saw that day broke my heart, you were shivering and crying in the corner."
Then only I noticed he was also crying,
Jay: "Keifer" I called him in a low voice
Keifer: "I was scared to loose you" he said in a vulnerable tone, and that is when I understood what must have went through his mind.
I nodded a no and wiped his tears and gently cupped his face and rested my forehead against his.
Keifer :"Because the last time when you came back from your parents house, you decided you did not want me in your life, that was one of the reason why I was anxious about your stay in your parents house, I did not want something like that to happen, because honestly I cannot take it. Ever after I am never letting you go towards them"
hearing him say that made me cry even more,
Jay: "Sorry, I made you worried. Sorry I did not listen to you, You will never loose me, because I cannot live without you"
I leaned in and kissed him slowly, It was a soft and slow kiss it said all our fears of losing each other, we pulled away slowly with tears in our eyes , I still held his face.
Jay: "But next time if you are mad at me, please yell at me or even beat me but please don't ignore me" I said with a pout, he finally chuckled with a smile, it was so good to see him smile after everything,
I tried to lighten his mood,
Jay: "Why are you smiling I am serious"
he nodded his head and said,
Keifer: "Okay baby" and smiled
I smiled after seeing him smile and pulled him into a tight hug, he rested his head on my shoulder that is when I understand the pain he must have gone through thinking I am going to leave him or avoid him, So I hugged him tightly as assurance.
we pulled away from the hug and he asked,
Keifer: "Do you want to talk about what happened?"
Jay: "I do but not right now maybe later, now I just want to be happy and cuddle with you"
he smiled immediately and joined me in bed, and put his hands over my shoulder and pulled me to his chest and I was home, and I hugged by him by his waist.
Jay: "What were you saying in the morning? Our apartment?" I asked him because I was still confused,
Keifer: "This apartment was gifted by Mom and Dad when I first came to university but I decided to stay in dorm to make friends, then I found you I decided that I will surprise you after semester break and we can move in together, but I did not expect I will bring you here like this"
Jay: "Sorry"
Keifer: "Why are you asking sorry, I want you remember one thing that none of this was your fault, I getting mad on your parents for putting in such situations"
Jay: "Don't talk about them only happy talk here"
Keifer: "Okay sorry sorry" he said and kissed my forehead
Jay: "So we are going to be staying here?"
Keifer: "Yes my love" I blushed when he said that
Keifer: "I know you are on scholarship student and your parents only pay for the dorm, I don't want their help, we can stay here in our home, no one can tell us what to do"
I teared up when he said our home,
Jay: "Our home, it feels so surreal"
Keifer: "Believe me its real" he said and kissed my knuckles
Keifer: "and tomorrow we have to go shopping and stock up our home, we literally need everything"
Jay: "I am excited to shop for our home, we can it make it more like us"
Keifer: "Yes ma'am"
after that we cuddled and
Jay: "Good night Keif " I said and kissed his cheeks
he hugged me tighter,
Keifer: "Good night Jay" and kissed my forehead and we went to sleep.
