Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 Crime X Girl

The sun was setting.

Under the last rays of twilight, Kevin stood up from the lawn in his garden.

He took off his sweat-soaked vest, walked into the bathroom in his room, habitually drew the curtain, and quickly washed himself.

It had been a week since he transmigrated into this body.

Ever since he transmigrated, his life had inexplicably become stable.

This gave him ample time to adjust his mindset and integrate into this unfamiliar world.

Eating, sleeping, exercising, and studying—this was a true reflection of his life these past few days.

Muscle memory and the inherited knowledge in his mind made learning medicine incredibly smooth, making him feel like a genius.

At the same time, he also used the computer in his room to further understand all aspects of this world.

His biggest worry did not materialize, as the original owner of this body was an orphan. Although it seemed heartless to think this way, he couldn't help but sigh, this situation was truly ideal for him.

Exercise, of course, goes without saying; both this body and the mysterious extraordinary energy made him indulge in it.

Turning on the TV and listening to the news, Kevin walked into the kitchen and began to get busy.

After a period of busyness, night had already fallen by the time he finished dinner.

The city's public security was not very good, at least worse than the country and city he had once lived in.

As soon as it got dark, there were very few pedestrians on the streets.

"Beep! Beep!"

The sound of a car horn came from the street outside the door.

Hearing the sound, Kevin frowned, walked to the balcony, and looked out.

On the street at the entrance, a van was parked, and under the dim streetlights, he could see a man in the driver's seat waving at him.

Clearly, this man knew him.

Kevin's heart sank suddenly, and a bad premonition arose.

An acquaintance had come knocking.

He still couldn't escape this ordeal after all.

A top student who graduated from a prestigious university, even if he was involved in some criminal activities, he must have friends he knew.

To be honest, occupying someone else's body and talking to these unfamiliar "acquaintances" always made him feel a little uncomfortable.

He went downstairs to the door.

"Kevin, quickly open the garage door and let me in to hide, damn it, those cops are really chasing hard."

The tall, thin man looked a little anxious. Seeing Kevin motionless, he had no choice but to open the door and get out of the car.

"Alright, alright, I'll do it myself."

As he spoke, he walked in on his own accord under Kevin's indifferent gaze, opened the garage door, and drove the car in.

Police sirens could still be heard in the distance.

"Unlucky, it turned out to be an accomplice," Kevin thought helplessly. After all, it was perfectly normal for the original owner to have criminal accomplices since he was involved in some kind of criminal activity.

The man in front of him was clearly one of them, and the van he drove should contain contraband, though he didn't know exactly what it was.

After completing a series of actions, the tall, thin man came over to Kevin, lit a cigarette, and did not offer one to Kevin.

Clearly, he knew Kevin didn't smoke, indicating their relationship was quite close.

"When did you get back? If I hadn't seen the lights on at your place, I wouldn't have come here. Good thing you're home.

Otherwise, I'd have to stay at Barrel's place for a night, and he'd definitely take some of my goods."

After speaking, he patted Kevin's arm and turned to walk back to the garage: "Don't just stand here foolishly, or those damn police will definitely question us if they come over."

Kevin silently followed.

At this moment, what he was thinking about was whether he should move and completely cut off all past relationships.

The main reason he came back here was to see if he could awaken more memories of the original owner in a familiar place.

He had achieved that, but it was clear that the original owner's social circle was not suitable for him, and the best way was to simply cut ties and leave.

Anyway, even if he hadn't taken over this body, the original owner was already dead.

Starting anew in a different place seemed to be the best choice for him.

Otherwise, he would get into trouble like tonight.

While thinking, he followed the other person into the garage. Soon, he heard the police sirens outside approaching from a distance and then gradually disappearing.

"Mm! Mm!"

The van suddenly shook, and a muffled sound came from it.

The tall, thin man raised his hand and slapped the side of the car, frowning and cursing, "Quiet down, or don't blame me for being impolite!"

This seemed to work, and the back of the van quieted down, but faint whimpering sounds could be heard.

Kevin's brows were tightly furrowed.

Living beings? And the worst kind of situation.

The tall, thin man seemed to notice Kevin's tightly furrowed brows and showed a fawning smile.

"Heh heh, a batch of high-grade goods I recently acquired, it will definitely sell for a big price. Don't look so glum, I understand, I understand everything."

As he spoke, he showed an extremely lewd smile, patted Kevin's shoulder, and then stood up.

He walked a few steps to the van and pulled open the door.

"Wuwuwu!"

"Mm! Wuwu!"

Young, mature, youthful, childlike…

A total of six girls of various ages and styles, large and small, were tied up and crying in the car.

They looked at the tall, thin man, then at Kevin, their eyes filled with terror.

"How about it? Pretty good, right? This is the best batch I've gotten in recent years," he said, his face full of showmanship.

"You're really lucky. I just got some top-quality stuff that suits your taste yesterday, so today it's cheap for you, kid."

As he spoke, he even put on a feigned expression of regret, looking at Kevin, his gaze seeming to say, "You hit the jackpot."

Then, he half-crawled into the compartment, and amidst the terrified whimpers of the girls, he pulled out a blonde girl with a loli-like figure.

The girl was dressed in a red Lolita outfit, with shiny golden twin pigtails, a small and well-proportioned body, and crystal-clear eyes full of terror and innocence.

The man threw her directly onto the ground, looked at Kevin, and said, "How is it? Does it suit your taste? Did you make a fortune? Don't say your brother doesn't take care of you. If you don't bring two bottles of good medicine to reward me, I won't let you play for free just for this favor."

He was talking to himself, completely oblivious to Kevin's expression becoming increasingly serious and grim.

So it was human trafficking.

And all of them were such young and beautiful girls, even children.

This girl who looked at most like a teenager…

Beast!

The original owner of this body was simply a complete beast, even more disgusting than he had imagined.

That last trace of guilt that remained had now disappeared without a trace.

"What are you doing?!"

Kevin rushed forward.
