What was happening here? What had just happened?
Terumi Mei looked at Naruto in astonishment, her beautiful eyes flickering with shock. Why had the Three-Tails' chakra actively run into Naruto's body?
Soon Terumi Mei came to her senses. She looked at Naruto angrily, stomped her foot, and said:
"Hey! What's going on here? You agreed to let me become the Three-Tails Jinchuriki! So why did the Three-Tails go into your body instead?"
Naruto blinked innocently. He hadn't expected this to happen at all. Originally, he had planned to seal the Three-Tails into Terumi Mei's body, keeping only a small part for himself. But the Three-Tails had run into his body on its own. Naruto hadn't reacted in time to stop it. Now all of the Three-Tails' chakra had been completely sucked into his body. And if he was being honest, the chakra was still actively clinging to him.
Seeing Naruto blinking his big, innocent eyes, Terumi Mei knew he hadn't done it on purpose. She had clearly seen that after the Three-Tails' chakra was pulled out, it had gone looking for Naruto on its own. That had nothing to do with Naruto. He hadn't expected this either.
Terumi Mei exhaled, but still shot Naruto a glare. She said playfully:
"Fine then. You're the Three-Tails Jinchuriki now. That means you're destined to be a member of the Mist Village. You can't run away even if you want to. Hmph."
After hearing what Terumi Mei said, Naruto smiled helplessly.
Feeling the powerful chakra surging inside his body, Naruto's face couldn't help but show emotion. He now truly had the power of three tailed beasts inside him.
One-Tailed Shukaku. Three-Tailed Isobu. Nine-Tailed Kurama.
Three tailed beasts. That was terrifying. If anyone else found out there were this many tailed beasts inside Naruto's body, they would be shocked.
After thinking for a while, Terumi Mei calmed down. Her beautiful eyes focused on Naruto. She took a deep look at him and said with some concern:
"By the way, you were already the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki. Now you have the Three-Tails too. Will you be okay?"
Terumi Mei was slightly worried.
Naruto smiled when he heard her words. Terumi Mei didn't know that inside his body were not just the Three-Tails and Nine-Tails, but the One-Tail as well.
At the same time, Kakashi, Sakura, Hinata, and Kurenai, who had been on the sidelines, snapped out of their shock. They hurried over to Naruto and asked with concern:
"Naruto, are you okay?"
Sakura and Hinata carefully observed Naruto's body, wanting to see if anything was wrong.
Hearing everyone's concern, Naruto smiled lightly and reassured them:
"Don't worry. I'm fine."
After seeing that Naruto was truly alright, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
Kakashi and Kurenai looked at Naruto like he was a monster. They said incredulously:
"You already had the Nine-Tails inside you. Now you've sealed the Three-Tails too. If anyone finds out about this, it'll cause a sensation."
Naruto smiled lightly.
Truly, in the ninja world up until now, other than the legendary founder of ninjutsu—the Sage of Six Paths—no human body had ever been able to hold multiple tailed beasts. Let alone three. Not even two. Because a tailed beast's power was so massive that ordinary people couldn't bear it. Ordinary people couldn't suppress it. One tailed beast was enough to drive a normal person crazy, let alone three.
Also, tailed beasts weren't easy to get along with their Jinchuriki. After thousands of years of fighting, the current tailed beasts could be said to hate ninjas. They wanted nothing more than to destroy every last one of them. So when they stayed inside a Jinchuriki's body, they wouldn't behave. They certainly wouldn't let the Jinchuriki control them.
But Naruto was the exception. His body now held multiple tailed beasts, yet he was perfectly fine. He wasn't affected by their tyrannical power at all. This made Kurenai, Kakashi, and Terumi Mei feel utterly shocked after seeing it.
However, Naruto knew that with so many tailed beasts inside his body now, he couldn't just ignore them. He needed to deal with them.
Then Naruto chatted briefly with the Konoha group, catching up on old times.
From Sakura and the others, Naruto learned what had been happening. Konoha was now being rebuilt. Because the Third Hokage had been killed, Konoha had no leader right now. But it seemed likely that a new Hokage would be elected soon. Konoha was preparing for that, recalling their former strong ninja.
Hearing this news, Naruto narrowed his eyes. He wondered if that old fox Danzo would get involved and try to become Hokage. Since Naruto had left Konoha, Danzo hadn't been seen. He had disappeared for some time. Naruto had been searching for news about Danzo for a while.
After reminiscing for a bit, Kakashi left with his people. They had been there for a while. Now that the Three-Tails had been captured by Naruto, it was time for them to return to Konoha.
Before leaving, Hinata still looked at Naruto reluctantly. Sakura whispered softly with parted lips:
"Naruto..."
Seeing this, Naruto smiled. He hugged Hinata reassuringly and said softly:
"Hinata, I'll come find you soon. Don't worry."
Hinata nodded confidently. Although she didn't know when they would meet next, she trusted him. Kurenai, standing nearby, didn't speak. She looked at Naruto with complicated eyes.
Kakashi also sighed. Sakura stared deeply at Naruto, her lips pressed tightly together, not knowing what to say.
Soon, everyone from Konoha left reluctantly. Although they had met Naruto, they hadn't said much because of his status. They also hadn't mentioned bringing him back to the village. One reason was that they knew they couldn't bring Naruto back. The other reason was that they simply couldn't do it.
Watching the Konoha group's departing backs, Naruto's eyes flickered. He exhaled.
At that moment, Terumi Mei appeared at Naruto's side. She looked at him with a small smile, her beautiful eyes rippling like water as she teased:
"Why? Are you reluctant to part with your little girlfriend? If you need some company, you can always come to me."
Hearing Terumi Mei's joking words, Naruto didn't blush this time. Instead, he looked at her with fiery eyes and chuckled softly:
"Are you sure about that?"
