Chapter 11
Kenzie's penthouse
You see, guy, you were the one who put yourself into this kind of trouble."Killian replied,
"Yeah, Killian is right, bro. If you hadn't done what you did in the restaurant and the other day, you wouldn't have gotten on her bad side."Levi said
Yea, Killian added.
It's okay, guys. Let's go. I need to cool my head off."Kenzie said, as he and his friends left his penthouse.
Cafeteria
As they sat in the cafeteria, Emory turned to Hazel, "You know, Hazel, I'm still shocked."
"Yeah, me too," Zinnia added.
Hazel shrugged, "Well, it's faith."
"Let eat," Emory said, taking a bite of her food.
A few minutes later, Hazel excused herself, "I'll be right back, guys. Heading to the restroom."
Her friends nodded, and Hazel left.
After Hazel left the restroom, she started wandering around the school. On her way back to the cafeteria, she passed the school's pool room and spotted someone in the pool...
Pool room
Kenzie actually came to the pool room after departing from his friends, but he didn't know someone had snuck in. With his eyes closed, Hazel saw her chance for revenge.
She sneaked into the store room, eyes scanning for something useful. Rats in a cage and a net caught her eye – perfect!
With a sly grin, she poured the rats into the pool and cast the net on top, trapping Kenzie. He was oblivious, eyes shut tight.
One rat bit him, and Kenzie's eyes flew open. "Wait, what?! What are rats doing in the pool?!" he exclaimed, thrashing about.
As he realized he was trapped, Kenzie started calling for help. Hazel laughed, recording the whole scene.
"Oh wow, so Mister CryBaby is calling for help now," she said, chuckling.
"You... how dare you! You've been doing all sorts of things but this is going to far are you trying to kill me, Kenzie snapped.
"Even if it means killing you, and if killing isn't a crime, I would surely do it," Hazel replied, her voice cold.
"So you mean you can go to any extent just to get your revenge?" Kenzie asked.
"Yeah," Hazel replied, smirking.
Ah, Kenzie screamed again as one of the rats bit him on the dick.
"Ouch! "Sorry? Oh no, I don't say sorry to my enemies. No sorries," Hazel said, her grin growing wider.
"Please, get me out of here! I promise I'll do whatever you want, just please get me out," Kenzie begged.
"Really? Would you really do whatever I ask?" Hazel asked, her eyes glinning.
"Yes, just please," Kenzie pleaded as the rats continued their torture.
"Okay, then. Give me money for the bike you destroyed," Hazel asked.
"Okay, okay. You just take my card, it's inside my joggers, it's there lying on the chair over there," Kenzie replied, pointing at where he laid his clothes.
Hazel took the card and started leaving the pool room. "Hey, you've not released me yet!" Kenzie screamed after her.
"First, promise me you won't get your revenge and you'll give me anything I ask you to," Hazel said, looking back.
"I promise, just please get me out of here," Kenzie said.
"Nah, I'll just ask your friends to help you out," Hazel said, walking out of the pool room.
Hallway
Hazel was on her way to the cafeteria when she spotted both Kilian and Levy. "Hey, that jerk needs your help in the pool room," Hazel said, leaving for the cafeteria.
"Did she just say Kenzie needs her help? What has she done to the poor guy again?" Kilian said.
"It might be serious. Let's go check it out," Levi said.
Soon, the two boys left for the pool room.
Cafeteria
"Hey, girl, where have you been?" the Zinnia asked as soon as Hazel joined him.
"I was just dealing with some drama," Hazel replied.
"Okay, eat okay, the bell would soon ring for breakover," Emory replied.
After taking a few spoons from her food, the bell rang, signaling break was over, and the three friends left the cafeteria for their next lecture.
Pool room
As soon as Killian and Levi entered the pool room, they burst into laughter. "Hey, bro, are you really crying?" Killian asked.
"Just please get me out of here, these rats are really torturous," Kenzie said in tears.
"Okay, okay, just stop the tears," Levi said, laughing really hard.
As soon as they removed the net from the top of the pool, they held Kenzie out and handed him his clothes. After Kenzie wore his clothes, he stormed out of the pool room and went straight to the lecture hall 'cause the bell already rang.
Lecture hall
As soon as Kenzie entered the lecture hall, Hazel spotted him but ignored him, trying hard not to laugh. The "scene" was playing in her head.
"Hey, what's so funny?" Zinnia asked.
"Nothing, something really fun just popped into my head," Hazel replied.
"Hey, the lecturer is already here, let's keep quiet," Hazel said, spotting the lecturer.
Lecturers poured into the hall one after the other. Each lecturer didn't waste any time, nor gave the students time to rest. As the time passed, the closing bell rang.
"Ah, today was really tough," Zinnia said.
"Yeah, lecturers just keep pouring one after the other. You know, I used to wonder if they actually put a whole textbook into their head because they teach like their life depends on it," Emory added.
"And the funniest part is how they teach without checking the textbook," Zinnia said again.
"But class was interesting throughout, especially physics class," Hazel said.
"What?" Emory and Zinnia exclaimed.
"Did you just say that?" Emory asked.
"Yeah, most especially what the lecturer said about thermodynamics, Hazel replied.
