Marinette was walking to school after 2 weeks of no akumas and her saw muscles became better than she saw Alya running towards her.
"Marinette someone is lying about being Ladybug's best friend." Alya said
"But aren't you my best friend in and out of the suit." Marinette said
"Yeah, but someone said that after you saved them that you become friends with them." Alya said
"But I saved so many people and I don't know which one who became friends with me?" Marinette asked
"I can show you." Alya said and she took her phone out and showed her the video footage of Lila's interview then they saw a notification from the Miraculous Blog and Alya opened it up
"This is Grace for the Miraculous blog we have video footage from one of our field operatives showing the Ladyblogger getting false information from someone calming to be Ladybugs best friend, is the ladyblog really despite to get information that they have to become a tabloid blog where they post false information instead and isn't this girl Ladybug gave the baby to when Stoneheart was rampaging through all of Paris. This was Grace with Battle Statics where we film you battles and any reports about Ladybug so has Ladybug would say Bug out and stay safe out there." Grace said then the video ended
"What am I going to do Marinette, that bitch ruined my blog by saying she's Ladybug's best friend?" Alya asked
"Why not confront her about this?" Marinette said
"Of course, I'll follow her and confront her." Alya said then she ran into the school grounds
"Tikki, we need to find the grimoire so I'm going to send out a little drone." Marinette said going into her pause and taking out little drones
"Find the grimoire and if you do follow it." Marinette said and the little drones went off flying and Marinette walked into the school grounds and heard different stuff this girl has done then she heard on about where she came out of the barrier as she was a Viking.
"(Another Viking came through the barrier I thought it was me and Johann who would get through safely or maybe she lied that she is a Viking, I know maybe I ask what her tribe use to be.)" Marinette thought then she walked inside and she headed to the library and sat down and read a book then she saw Tikki coming out of her pause and going towards Adrien and Lila so Marinette grabbed Tikki and hid behind the bookcase.
"Are you trying to get seen Tikki?" Marinette whispered asked
"Marinette I found the grimoire." Tikki said and Marinette looked around and saw the grimoire
"All right Tikki we collect it and I'll use my magic and create a copy and have the words scrambled so who ever had this book who think they still had the original still." Marinette said then she walked out of the library and went to class
After school Marinette went into an alley-way and transformed into Ladybug and she followed Lila and she saw she was reading the grimoire and Ladybug could read the words on the grimoire.
"(Master Fu would be glad that I returned the grimoire back for him." Ladybug said then she saw Alya following behind with her camera out and she saw Lila enter a jewelry shop and she came out with a necklace.
"(So, there are jewelry of the Miraculous, so who ever had that book is profiting off the powerful miraculous jewels.)" Ladybug thought then she saw Lila enter the park and putting on the necklace and throw the book in the trash so she landed behind the trash and she pick the book and she quickly went up to the roof where she created a fake version and she put them in her yo-yo and she was about to yo-yo away when she saw Alya and a field operative from the Miraculous blog all surrounding Lila and Adrien.
"(When did Adrien arrive?)" Ladybug thought then she saw they were calling her down so she went down to meet them
"Ladybug is it true this girl is your best friend." Miraculous blog operative said filming live on the blog
"I don't even know who she is, I haven't meet her before." Ladybug said
"Yeah, you did when you passed me the baby." Lila said
"Sorry I didn't know who I was giving the baby to as I was being pulled by Stoneheart and it was quite fast and I thought I killed the baby when I pushed it out of the way." Ladybug said
"What about the time you saved me?" Lila asked
"When did I saved you?" Ladybug asked
"When you came to Italy remember?" Lila asked
"No sorry, why would I go to Italy when Hawk Moth was here in Paris you are nothing but a liar who wants people to like her for saying that she's Ladybug's best friend and what if Hawk Moth saw the video and he could had kidnapped you to use as a ransom for my Miraculous you could had put all of Paris in danger by your stupidity." Ladybug said
"Now if you excuse me, I got something important to do." Ladybug said grappling a nearby building and saying bug out and disappearing behind a building.
Ladybug went into an alley-way and de-transformed and she cracked her back to get rid of the notes and she went to Master Fu's place and she took out the real grimoire but she had to make sure it's the real one and not the fake on she created and when she saw it's the right one, she went inside and saw Master Fu was having a cup of tea
"Master I have found the grimoire and I created a fake one so who ever had this would get the wrong one thinking they got the real one but the butterfly and the peacock is translated but it will only show the translated version when it's ready." Marinette said
"Good work Marinette, your training has been completed and, in the future, I'll transfer the guardian role over to you so I can die in peace." Master Fu said
"What do you mean die in peace?" Marinette asked
"I have cancer Marinette and it's slowly killing me and the doctors can't do anything since it spread all around my body." Master Fu said
"How long do you have to life?" Marinette asked with tears in her eyes
"I have 7 months to live." Master Fu said
"Master you can't die you are like a grandfather to me and I don't know what I would do without you." Marinette cried with tears in her eyes
"Don't worry Marinette you got Alya who can help and yes I know she knows your identity and you can hide the miracle box away from everyone after you defeated Hawk Moth by going back through the barrier back to you real family." Master Fu said
"I know Master and I'm going to transform the miracle box into a necklace so it's around my neck and no one will get and the kwamis will be close to my heart forever." Marinette said and Tikki and Wayzz came over and hugged her cheek then Marinette's phone vibrated
"Don't be amused this is just the news there seems to be a new Miraculous hero in our city who stopped a meteorite from crashing into our city, could this new hero be part of Ladybug's team and will be helping to stop Hawk Moth from his reign of terror." Nadja reported"
"Master, can I see if the Fox Miraculous is still in there just in case because I saw it at the jewelry shop?" Marinette asked and Master Fu went over to where he hides the miracle box and he opened it and the Fox Miraculous was still in there
"So, what she is wearing is the one from the jewelry shop and she got akumatized, alright I have to save Paris from her illusions." Marinette said running out of the building and into an alley-way and she transformed into Ladybug and she went over to where Chat Noir is
"Mlady did you hear we got a new hero, who ever gave our Miraculous gave to us also gave her it as well." Chat said excitedly
"I know Chat we finally got back up." Ladybug sarcastically said
"Was that sarcastic Mlady?" Chat asked confused
"No Chat I was really excited as well." Ladybug sarcastic said
"You are going to like this girl, Mlady." Chat said not knowing sarcasm
"(I defiantly wouldn't like this bitch as she is Lila and I'm going to use my power to find her so I don't chase after the fakes and try and get her akumatized object and defeat her without a fight and me getting injured.)" Ladybug thought then Lila came over
"Hey guys I'm volpina nice to meet you." Lila said and Marinette knew this was a fake and the real one was nearby.
"Nice to meet you Volpina it's finally great that who gave us our Miraculous also gave you a Miraculous as well." Chat said
"Yeah, a young handsome man gave me my Miraculous." Volpina lied
"Really I thought it was an old man." Chat said
"That was his disguise to give out the two powerful Miraculous to you two." Volpina lied
"That would make sense keep his identity safe by wearing a disguise
"(Why am I partnered with an idiot who can't believe lies?)" Ladybug thought then they saw Hawk Moth on the building on the other side
"(Strange no one knows who Hawk Moth is and yet Volpina already knows who he looks like, does the akumatized know what he looks like and us heroes don't.)" Ladybug thought
"He's getting away, Ladybug go to his left, Cat Noir you take the left and I'll go behind." Volpina said
"(You just made my job easier Volpina by sending me to the left you are sending me to your real self.)" Ladybug thought
"Mlady we are about to defeat Hawk Moth and we'll have peace for once." Chat said
"I know Chat we'll finally have peace." Ladybug said then she went left and when she saw they weren't there anymore she hid and she sneaked over to where the real volpina is and when she made it under to her by being under her she quietly climbed up and when she got to the top, she pounced on Volpina
"How did you know where I was?" Volpina asked
"I'm not stupid and I knew you would get akumatized and have the power of illusion the same power as the fox Miraculous." Ladybug said
"You won't be defeating me Ladybug because this fight will be me getting your Miraculous and defeating you." Volpina said
"No Volpina it will be me who defeats you and gets your akumatized object." Ladybug said cracking her knuckles and she charged at Volpina trying to punch her in the face but Volpina dodged and Volpina kicked Ladybug in the back making Ladybug stumble forward and Ladybug got mad and used her martial arts training against Volpina making her dodge every attack except for a sneak punch Ladybug which dazed her and Ladybug did the triangle choke on Volpina and sending her to the ground where Volpina was clawing at Ladybugs bare legs drawing blood then she grabbed Ladybug's ankle and she cracked it which made Ladybug slightly release her hold on her neck but Ladybug was quick and warped her arms around Volpina's throat and she grabbed the necklace and as she was about to take it off Volpina bite Ladybug's arm and taking a chunk out and Ladybug took the necklace off and broke and she caught the akuma and she quickly retreated
"That fucking bitch bit me and I thought this fight was going to be easy but I was wrong." Ladybug said then her yo-yo rang
"Mlady, have you found Hawk Moth?" Chat asked
"Not yet Chat but I'm close to where he is." Ladybug lied then she hanged up
"Nothing was damaged doing this fight except for me but I'll just heal myself then I'll leave." Ladybug said then a pink glow went around Ladybug's arm and it healed it fully then it went to her ankle and it set it right and it healed
"Oh, I see how it is I get bitten it gets fully healed but other injures and they leave scars." Ladybug said then she opened up her yo-yo and out came an akuma and a Paris civilian saw Ladybug releasing a cleansed akuma
"Ladybug who was akumatized?" Paris civilian asked and the other civilian stopped and want to hear who it was
"That meteorite was a fake didn't you find it odd that it wasn't on TV talking about a meteor about to hit earth." Ladybug said and they nodded
"Well, that was the akuma's work and she made you guys cheered for her." Ladybug said
"Let's find that bitch who was akumatized." Paris civilian said and they all got their phones out and went onto the Miraculous blog and found the person who lied about being Ladybug best friend and being a hero and they marched to where she is
"Right bug out." Ladybug said leaving the scene and she went to a different alley-way and de-transformed and she walked to school where she saw Adrien finding something
"Adrien what are you looking for?" Marinette asked
"I'm looking for my father's book that I took from him." Adrien said
"(So, Gabriel could be Hawk Moth, I better not tell Adrien/Chat Noir about this he would deny that his father is evil.)" Marinette thought
"Do you mean this book that I found on the floor after it was dropped out of your bag." Marinette said getting the fake version out and Adrien grabbed it and he said thanks and he quickly ran into his car and it drove off back to his home then Alya ran over
"Marinette, how did it go with the akuma?" Alya asked
"Let's go to my place and I'll tell you." Marinette said and they walked to the bakery and they walked upstairs and entered her bedroom
"So how did it go with the akuma?" Alya asked
"Well, it was Lila who was akumatized and she tricked Chat Noir thinking she got the fox miraculous and she created an illusion of Hawk Moth and I thought no one has seen him but then I thought maybe the akumatized knows what he looks like." Marinette said
"Did you get injured in this fight." Alya said and Marinette rolled up her pants leg showing Alya 4 scratches and she rolled up her jersey sleeve showing another scratch
"I did get a bit of my arm bitten off when she bite me but it healed and she also broke my ankle but it also healed." Marinette said
"I didn't see the Miraculous cure flying around Paris." Alya said
"Well, it healed me as I was injured and there was no property damage to fix." Marinette said then they saw the news come on
"Don't be amused this is just the news, multiple landmarks have been disappearing." Nadja said then she disappeared and an akumatized appeared on TV
"I am the collector my book of inspiration was stolen from me and I would do anything to get it back so Hawk Moth akumatized me to get the Miraculous for my book." Collector said then he threw his book at the camera making the screen go static.
"Can I ever catch a break another akuma." Marinette said then she transformed into Ladybug and she went to her balcony and she grappled her yo-yo to a gargoyle at Notre Dame and she said bye to Alya and she got whisked away by her yo-yo and she landed on top of the gargoyle and she looked out over Paris to see where the Collector is and she saw the Collector's notebook and she dodged and she landed on the streets in a hero pose and she saw the Notre Dame disappear
"(I need to get that book before everything disappears forever.)" Ladybug thought transforming her yo-yo into a bow and arrow then she saw Collector land in front of her and she put an arrow in her bow and she started to shoot them at the collector but he dodges them and he got near to Ladybug and he tries to make her disappear in the book but she keeps dodging so he took out a knife from the book and he threw at Ladybug who dodges it but he has unlimited knifes he can chuck at her which he does
"I won't run out Ladybug this book can make copies of the same thing so I'll have to do is hit you once to make you slow down and then I can get you with the other knifes." Collector said then one of Collector's knife's made a cut on Ladybug's arm and Ladybug got her yo-yo and deflected them back at the Collector who dodges every one of them so Ladybug used the advantage and she loaded her bow with her arrow and she aimed and she released it and it went flying and it hit the notebook sending it flying so Ladybug used her yo-yo and she got around the arrow and she pulled it back to her and she ribbed the book in half and she captured the akuma and she used her bow to repair all of Paris and everything went back into place and her other yo-yo appeared on her hip after the cure was done then Adrien ran over
"Father a friend of mine found your book and I was about to return it back to me but I heard you were angry so I went into my bedroom and waited until you calmed down but then you got akumatized and captured me in the notebook of yours." Adrien said
"It's alright Adrien I'm sorry for capturing you." Gabriel said hugging his son
"And thank you Ladybug for saving me from Hawk Moth's control and saving my son." Gabriel said, and they walked back home
"(Don't think you have fooled me Gabriel but I'll get the drop on you when least expect it.)" Ladybug thought as she grappled back home.
A month later, Kagami arrives to Paris and tryouts at Mr. D'Argencourt's fencing class where Marinette also goes to practice her fencing skills that she has been training for
