After dinner.

Akira Tsubaki didn't go home immediately.

He noticed that Minato-sensei hadn't left, guessing that the other party likely had something important to discuss.

As expected.

"The Third Hokage has assigned a B-rank mission for Team Minato to complete," Minato said slowly.

"B-rank mission?" Akira Tsubaki frowned.

"That's right."

Taking out a scroll, Namikaze Minato tossed it over.

"You can take a look."

Opening the scroll, Akira Tsubaki scanned the mission details, and his face instantly turned grim.

The task was to infiltrate the Land of Grass (Kusa no Kuni) to gather intelligence.

Is the Third Hokage out of his mind?

Is the Land of Grass a place where Genin can go?

In Akira Tsubaki's understanding, the Land of Grass was utterly chaotic, relying on selling information about the three major ninja villages for survival.

Based on this alone, the Land of Grass had to be swarming with spies from every major ninja village.

Furthermore, its location—sandwiched between the three great nations of Fire, Wind, and Earth—made the chaos even worse.

Due to the extreme anarchy, almost everyone in the Land of Grass was a ninja; civilians simply couldn't survive there.

Closing the scroll.

Akira Tsubaki respectfully handed it back to Minato Namikaze.

Then he continued: "Sensei, I refuse to accept this mission."

"Um?"

Namikaze Minato was taken aback; he hadn't anticipated that answer.

He's a genius. He has a track record of killing Jōnin while still a Genin.

So, in Minato's eyes, the mission arranged by the Third Hokage was perfectly appropriate.

"Akira, this mission was assigned by the Third Hokage," Minato reminded him.

"Our team is currently in a recuperation period. There is a seven-day recuperation period, isn't there, Sensei?" Akira Tsubaki countered.

"Indeed," Minato nodded.

"And according to Article 75 of the village regulations, the village is not permitted to force a Genin team to undertake a specific mission during non-war periods."

Hearing such a rule, Minato Namikaze was stunned.

Why don't I know that rule?

"The village has this regulation?"

"Yes," Akira Tsubaki affirmed. "And it was promulgated by the Second Hokage."

Good grief.

How does he know about regulations enacted by a previous Hokage?

Minato Namikaze wanted to ask, but considering that he himself didn't know the rule, he held back.

"It's just that by doing this, you are effectively disobeying the Hokage's orders, which is tantamount to violating ninja rules," Minato reminded him again.

"Sensei, is it truly me who is not following the rules?" Akira Tsubaki asked seriously.

At this moment.

Minato Namikaze froze.

It seems... the one breaking the rules is the Third Hokage?

Seeing that Minato-sensei was lost in thought, Akira Tsubaki added fuel to the fire.

"Sensei, the Third Hokage isn't following the rules. Compared to him, I think you are the most suitable person to be Hokage."

"Shut up!"

Minato Namikaze's face instantly became serious, his tone stern.

"Don't say such things in the future."

"Oh," Akira Tsubaki nodded quickly.

A moment later.

Minato Namikaze took the scroll back.

"I will help Team Minato push this mission away."

"Thank you, Sensei!" Akira Tsubaki was overjoyed.

This meant he could continue to slack off in the village.

If he could get stronger just by sleeping for one day, why risk going out on missions?

He still had a shadow in his heart from the last escort mission.

And Akira Tsubaki was well aware that his four-dimensional attributes were rising exponentially. If he could just survive a little longer, he might eventually be able to smash a hill with one punch.

The Third Hokage arranged B-rank missions for me, did he?

When the time comes, I'll make sure Hiruzen Sarutobi has to go out on a mission every day.

Wait!

Before leaving, Minato Namikaze asked a few more questions.

"You are the captain of Team Minato now. What suggestions do you have for the squad?"

Akira Tsubaki answered without even thinking: "I think the biggest problem in the team right now is a lack of mission experience."

"So what is your solution?"

"So, I've decided that starting tomorrow, I will lead the team to accept D-rank missions and hone the mission experience of the team members."

Minato Namikaze left.

Akira Tsubaki could see a faint look of sadness on Minato-sensei's face.

"It really is important to have a good team leader~~"

With a sigh, he went home and went to sleep.

After all, the downtime is over.

The sun was shining.

The chirping of cicadas filled the air.

Akira Tsubaki rubbed his eyes, realizing he had overslept again.

He opened the properties panel as usual.

Seeing the update, he jumped out of bed with a 'crash!'

Name:Akira

Age:12 years old

Strength112(56 * 2)-Kage-level

Physique:72 -Jōnin level

Dexterity: 90-Jōnin level

Spirit: 80-Intermediate Immunity

Chakra Amount: 354

Skills:None

Ninjutsu:None

Comprehensive Strength Evaluation:Trainee Genin

"Strength doubled to Kage-level?"

To be honest, Akira Tsubaki thought the system might have an Elite Jōnin level or a Half-step Kage-level, but he didn't expect it to jump directly to Kage-level power.

Overjoyed, his eyes drifted down the panel.

Then, his expression froze.

"Why is the strength evaluation still Trainee Genin?"

Is this fucking Scientific?

After thinking about it carefully, he realized that this actually was logical.

"If this strength evaluation is divided by ninja levels, I really am just a Genin without mastering any Ninjutsu."

That's right!

I am a Genin.

Closing the panel, Akira Tsubaki went out to the yard and lay down on the wooden chair.

"The strength attribute of a civilian should be around 10."

He had noticed this when the system first activated.

"In other words, my current strength is only about eleven times that of an ordinary person?"

Thinking about it this way, Akira Tsubaki suddenly realized that his current strength didn't seem that impressive.

Can this force shatter a hill?

Obviously impossible.

Calculated in terms of pure physical strength, that would require an extremely powerful impact.

"However, if the power attribute doubles another dozen times, then I will have one hundred times, or even a thousand times the strength I have now."

"Don't worry, be steady."

Akira Tsubaki silently warned himself.

"So, the 'Kage-level' strength attribute is just a measurement."

Put plainly, simply having 100+ points of strength doesn't mean one is a true Kage-level fighter.

Having figured this out, Akira Tsubaki suddenly felt hungry.

"Wait a minute! What was it I was supposed to be doing?"
