In a section of the Grazauberer headquarters, a glimmer of light is shown, which only exists for a moment before dissipating, revealing Sargon, Alnis, and the 3 knocked out men of the rogue magician's crew. Alnis speaks up,
"Alright, you go on ahead to see your mom and dad. I'll go put these 2 in the holding cell to be ready for their trials. Oh, and be sure to send the proof of their defection."
Sargon nods, "Will do. See you around. Alnis!"
Alnis waves back and then leaves, towing the 3 men with a glowing rope like construct. Sargon then makes his way down the hall and stops in front of some double doors. He pushes them open and walks on in, smiling all the while,
"Hi Mom, Dad." The 2 humans, a man and woman, who were sitting on some couches looked up and towards the double doors. There, they saw their son, Sargon, smiling. The woman leaped off the couch and bolted towards Sargon. When she reached him, she pulled him in for a tight hug,
"Hello, my dear little wiseman! How was the mission? Did you encounter any difficulty? Are you hurt anywhere," the woman bombarded with questions.
The man, still sitting on the couch, lightly scolded her,
"Calca honey, he won't be able to answer your questions if you keep smothering him like that."
Calca, finally realizing what she's doing, backs off and apologizes to Sargon,
"Hehehe, sorry dear. I got carried away didn't I," she asked while covering her mouth with her hand.
Sargon chuckled,
"Yes you did. But I wouldn't expect anything less, mother. Now I heard from Alnis that you both had something to talk to me about?"
Calca smiled and nodded, "Oh yes. Me and your father, Max have been thinking long and hard about this, but since it's about you, we'll let you have the final say about it. Come, sit down," she said as she guided him to sit next to Max, who scooted over to allow more room.
Now sat in between Max and Calca, Sargon asked, "So what did you want to talk to me about?"
Both looked at each other, then back at Sargon. After which, Max speaks up in a direct voice, "We're thinking of enrolling you in a normal school. We know that because of your talent and achievements here in Grauzauberer despite being 18, you didn't really have the time to experience what it's like to be a normal person or have a normal childhood experience. So we hope that you'll be able to have just that within this school."
Sargon's eyes widened a little. This wasn't something he expected would happen. Then again, his parents are quite doting and loving, so of course they'd want him to be able to do things they otherwise would be incapable of doing.
Calca then spoke up, "The name of this high school is called Shinjuku Pillager Academy. We've really done some thought on this and we've discovered that this is by far the best option. The building isn't a long walk from our own house, no longer than 5 minutes away. I know you'll do great, you're our little wiseman after all," she said with a smile.
Sargon returned the smile, "Thank you mom, dad. If it's your decision and suggestion, I wouldn't mind trying it out. Though we'll have to go by a different surname than Daedalus if we truly want to blend in. Why don't we go with Kaze? The name represents the unpredictable nature of change as well as wind, the element I have a great affinity for."
Calca clapped her hands with joy, "Wonderful! That'll be our surname. I'll tell our friends who might come over about that surname!"
Max nodded his head in approval while smiling, "Alright, it's a deal. We'll handle the job of getting you uniform and school uniform before this upcoming Monday. That'll be the day you transfer. Now why don't you take a little break?" Sargon nodded, "Very well, I shall."
Calca and Max then got up and headed towards the double doors pulled them open. That's when they saw another girl clad in white and blue witch's clothing. It was the famed Ice Princess herself, Lavinia Reni. Her eyes widened in surprise when seeing both Daedalus adults.
"Oh, hello Calca-chan, Max-kun! I heard that Sar-kun was back from completing the mission to apprehend the now confirmed rogue magicians. Is he here," Lavinia asked politely.
Max smiled and moved to the side as he turned his head behind him, "Hey son, your girlfriend is here to see you," he said with a cheeky grin.
At that, Lavinia and Calca chuckled while Sargon sighed, "Once again dad, we are good friends, not a couple."
Max smirked, "I know. Doesn't mean I won't stop teasing you about it," he said as he snickered.
Lavinia then swiftly walked past both adults, walked to where Sargon was, and sat next to him on the same couch as the adults left and closed the doors.
"So! How was the mission," she asked intrigued.
Sargon smiled, "It went all according to plan, as I had expected. We managed to not only capture 3 of them, but also confirm that they were going to join Hexennacht in order to overthrow us. Thank goodness we managed to stop them in time."
Lavinia smiled, "I'm glad your plan worked out," she said.
"Me too," he responded.
Lavinia then changed the subject, "So what are you going to do now?"
Sargon turned his head forward and took a breath, "After taking a break, preparing to transfer to this Shinjuku Pillager Academy my parents had picked out for me."
At that news, Lavinia's eyes widened, "You're going to a normal school? I hope it's not too far away," she said with a little sadness in her voice.
Sargon shook his head, "On the contrary, it's only a 5 minute walk from my parent's house. You'll still be able to see and talk to me Lavinia."
Lavinia smiled happily, "Oh, then that's fine. I already know where your parents live. But you're going to a regular school, yes? One that doesn't have any knowledge about the supernatural world? You aren't going to go by your original surname are you?
Sargon shook his head again, "No, I've already accounted for that. Over there, we'll go by the surname of Kaze. My parents were probably going to start telling their friends to call them that there, as well as let them know of my eventual transfer."
"Oh, hehe. I suppose I was early then," Lavinia chuckled.
Sargon returned the chuckle, "Indeed."
They then spent a while talking together in the lounge room of the Grazauberer building.
[Timeskip - 2 days]
The day and time for Sargon to go to a normal school had finally arrived. Hopefully, he'll gain some friends there. After Sargon put on his shoes, he said back to his parents, "I'm heading out!"
Max looked back and nodded, "Have a good day at school son."
Calca, meanwhile rushed up toward him, "Wait dear, do you have everything for school? Lunchbox, textbooks, notebooks?"
Sargon chuckled, "Yes, I have everything I need for my classes."
Max then spoke up again, "Oh right, almost forgot. You do have that right," he asked.
In response, Sargon raised his right hand, which showed a simple bracelet, "I've got it right here, and don't worry, I won't be changing it in front of anyone at school."
Max nodded once more while smiling, "We know you won't."
Calca gave Sargon a tight hug, before kissing him on the forehead, "Have a good first day of school, my little wiseman," she said.
Sargon kissed her back on the cheek before saying, "Thanks mom. See you soon."
He then opened the door and went out of the house. Sargon made his way to the school building and walked in through the gates as he saw everyone else entering doing the same thing. After entering through the building doors, he looked around to see where the main office was. It didn't take long before he found it and walked inside.
He opened the door and spoke, "Hello."
The receptionist looked up and smiled, "Ah, the new transfer student huh? Let me see your ID and then I'll show you your homeroom class as well as give you your schedule."
Sargon did exactly that. The receptionist took the ID card, scanned it, typed on her computer for a bit, and then got up from her seat. She then turned around and faced a printer machine that was making some small noise. After a little while, the printer went quiet, and she took a paper from the machine, then went to her desk, grabbed the ID card, and walked around her desk towards Sargon.
"Alright, if you would kindly follow me, I'll lead you to your homeroom class, Mr. Kaze."
Sargon nodded as he followed her.
After a couple minutes of walking, the receptionist and Sargon finally arrived at a classroom where the receptionist faced him with a hand outstretched to the doorway, "Through here."
Sargon entered the classroom, which was mostly packed with other students. The teacher looked up from their desk and spoke, "Ah, the new transfer student? Come on in, introduce yourself to the class."
Sargon made his way towards the center of the classroom, picked up a piece of chalk, wrote his name, then turned to face the class, "My name is Sargon Kaze. Nice to meet you all," he ended with a bow.
