You changed in ways you'll never understand...It breaks me that you will never know the version of me that came after you, the one who learned to swallow pain quietly, the one who stopped believing in "happily ever after", the one who carries your absence like a stigma. You changed me, even when you did not mean to, and maybe that's why it's so hard to move on; because you are a part of my story even if I am no longer part of yours.
And most of the time I must keep quiet because I know if I say what I feel, it will ruin everything...you don't ruin what's already ruined.
It doesn't always get better sometimes. I just have to get up and pull myself up even if it hurts, although my heart is still broken, I must believe that time heals everything...but know I only need me to heal.
